With a lovely lakeside setting surrounded by trees, you’ve found the perfect launching pad for your western North Carolina vacation! This studio condo sits 30 miles south of Asheville, just north of the South Carolina border, and is surrounded by hiking trails and waterfalls, as well as plenty of local breweries and restaurants when it’s time for a post-hike beverage. Condo amenities include an outdoor pool, tennis court, gym, kayaks for exploring Jordans Lake, a small, private beach, and a shared fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows. Enjoy the lake view from your front porch, then step inside, where you’ll find a comfortable studio space with a full kitchen, small dining table, two comfortable queen beds, and a streaming-capable TV. Adventures await - all that’s left to do is book!

Things to Know
This home is in a shared, quiet community. .Two canoes are provided. The pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Streaming services are available using your own account.Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great weekend getaway

Location was great, everything we needed for a quiet relaxing weekend in the mountains. Rustic charm, nothing fancy, but functional and comfortable. Loved the covered porch overlooking the lake.

Great spot for a budget stay in the Asheville area

This site is in a good location and amenities. Condo was clean and the owner very responsive to any questions. It's a short drive from both local activities and Asheville. Additionally, there are some really good restaurants just around the corner with a five-minute drive. Very pleased with our stay!

This little motel/resort is so cute. Porch overlooking the lake made for some quiet beautiful mornings. Beds were comfortable, kitchenette was super helpful as we like to cook a lot. Laundry was helpful for our stay. Thanks for a great vacation

We liked the mid-century feel of the place since that’s the era that my wife and I grew up in. It had some minor maintenance issues, but in general we had a pleasant stay.

Quick stay

This was a great stay and very cozy! My only company would be that the bed closet to the door was hard a rock. Other thank that it was a great experience and love every minute! Thank you😁

Do not recommend

The room was musty and damp, and sticky. Trash was overflowing outside and when it rained you had to step through a channel of running water to leave through the front door. No wifi as advertised. We have them the benefit of the doubt and asked to be moved to another room or to get a refund and those requests were ignored. The place has potential, but needs lots of TLC.

Rental was not ready

Upon arrival there was no lock box or key code to check in. We sat in a parking lot with tired kids for about 30 minutes waiting for the local manager to come let us in because she forgot to have the guy put out the lock box. After unpacking while my young kids got settled to sleep in bed I found my feet black from the dirty floor and the bathroom riddled with bugs and dust. Since there were no other options I then spent my time washing the floor with water and a towel on my hands and knees. We reached out to the local manager and she had someone bring us cleaning supplies so I was able to then wash the floor again with a cleaner. She also scheduled for the cleaning company to come the next day, but since there was no lock box we had to wait on our vacation to let in the cleaning lady. And then after she arrived we had to leave our rental for a few hours to allow her to clean. The first day of our rental was not for us- it was spent addressing a rental that was not ready for check in. Additionally the unit advertised as having a dishwasher, but did not. So not only did I have to wash our dishes, but also the dishes in the cabinet which were dirty. This was a convenience which was advertised and not present. Additionally the internet name listed was not available. Another issue of many in this stay. Over a week ago I emailed vacasa to ask for a refund of our first night stay in light of all the issues. I have yet to hear back…. An otherwise great trip was made a disaster due to poor management. Disappointing

Cute place

It was a nice place , loved the covered porch, watching the ducks in the morning. It was like a water ballet. The beds were very comfortable.
