Three Lakeside Canvas Cottages group campsite at Parakeet Cove

NO LINENS, PILLOWS, OR TOWELS PROVIDED, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN.
You are renting Three Canvas tent Cottages on a private lake in the woods. Just secluded enough to unwind but still close enough to make a quick tip to town. Cottages are surrounded by the lake on three sides.
With a beautiful view. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the wildlife. In the summer, enjoy the lake with kayaking, paddle boarding, or fishing. You get the use of 6 kayaks with the rental. Each cottage has it own charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire pit. One boat dock to share. Two showers and two toilets. There's four more cottages nearby but separated just enough to give you privacy or close enough if you have friends that may rent them.
SWIMMING IS ALLOWED YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY. ALL GUEST MUST SIGN A WAIVER BEFORE GOING ON OR IN THE WATER.

The property was beautiful and so clean! Hardly any bugs for being next to water which was a pleasant surprise. Richard was welcoming, funny and attentive. The tents were all so nice and the AC worked liked a dream. No details were missed. Everyone in my group had a great time. Can’t wait to come back next year!

The property was entertaining, clean, unique and private, the owner puts a lot of thought into making sure everything is kept up and worry free. We are so thankful that they shares this little piece of paradise for our families to make memories that will last a life time. The kids spent hours upon hours in the water, they could explore and we felt completely safe. We saw fish, salamanders and lizards. Relaxed on the porches and slept peacefully in the cooled bungalow tents

Quiet accommodations on easily accessible, great fishing

Loved staying on the property. Bathroom, beds, AC, etc worked as expected. Kayaks and Jon boat usage was smooth. My entire family loved it and want to come back every summer

Best Birthday Party for 16-Year-Old Son

We were looking for a place for a group of teenaged boys to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. This was the PERFECT place for our party! The boys were NEVER bored. They never even wanted to check their phones. They were constantly on the water... in the kayaks, fishing, swimming. The water was warm for swimming...The fishing was REALLY good! The canvas cabins were so cool! I had never been in something like that before! The air-conditioning was so nice and we slept very well! The mini-fridge in each cabin provided much needed storage for our cold food so we didn't have to keep stuff in coolers all weekend. The bathrooms were so clean! The shower was perfect! The sand around the cabins made you feel like you were on a true vacation.We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to others.

Memorial weekend

We always love staying at the canvas tents. Our family has a wonderful weekend together. Fun, games, cooking together, being on the lake and fishing. Richard and Sherry always friendly and helpful.

This was our fourth time at the property. We have now stayed in every type of cabin they have. My family loves it so much and it’s becoming an annual tradition. We will absolutely be back!

Far exceeded expectations

From the moment I booked this property until we left, it has been a wonderful experience. Every communication was answered promptly and concisely. We arrived to have the owners waiting for us, they were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. They showed us around the cottages, answered all our questions and then left us to start our weekend. We were a family of 6 sisters and our mother. Our mother had requested we book this property because it's close to where she grew up, so we booked it as an early 80th birthday present. The owners had left balloons and a card for my mom, which was so kind and made her feel extra special. The property was very well maintained and clean with so many little details that made it special. The kayak access point from the cabins was sandy and made it easy to get on the kayaks, we even got my mom on one (first time ever for her). We had the best weekend laughing and partying and unplugging. We absolutely loved it and I can't thank Richard enough for his hospitality and kindness during all our encounters.

Great Property!

This place is great has many cabins on a shared lake. The lake has great fishing and is very clear and great for swimming. The hosts have provided all the little things you need for the stay which is great. Everything was just as advertised in the photos.

We had such a wonderful time on the lake fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Everything was pristine and we couldnt have had a better trip.
