Un confortable y artística personaje a casa en la tranquila segura y arbolada zona residencial de Point Grey.

1.850 pies cuadrados en dos niveles. La planta principal tiene salón con gran ventanal con vistas a las montañas famosas de Vancouver; comedor con la expansión de la mesa redonda (perfecto para esos partidos de la cena); dormitorio principal con una cómoda almohada cama de matrimonio, cocina (ver descripción más abajo); baño y una sala tranquila con gran televisor de pantalla plana y sofá cama recién renovado.

La planta baja cuenta con una oficina grande abierta con una estación de trabajo envolvente y la impresora proporcionada; una zona familiar con sofá seccional y TV; matrimonio y habitaciones dobles, baño artísticamente azulejos con ducha y una sala de lavandería con lavadora y secadora.

En todo momento, usted estará rodeado de hermosas pinturas y obras de arte originales con alfombras de área únicos en hermosos pisos de madera.
El luminoso, orientación sur cocina recientemente renovado es gourmet equipada y cuenta con una estufa de gas con una acogedora zona de comedor que da a una amplia terraza con vistas siempre verde y patio privado.

A 10 minutos a pie hasta el pueblo de West 10th Avenue, con muchas tiendas exclusivas de vecinos, un Safeway, restaurantes informales y gourmet, tiendas de café, un comerciante de vinos y una biblioteca pública. Estamos a 5 minutos a pie de tránsito o en coche público al corazón de la ciudad en sólo 20 minutos. A sólo 3 cuadras de distancia se encuentra una piscina pública limpio y brillante y un gimnasio abierto, bien equipado. Hay muchos parques y senderismo / ciclismo cerca en nuestro famoso Parque Espíritu del Pacífico, o pasear las playas locales, que están a 15 minutos a pie. The home is a quaint older property located in a very quiet, established area near UBC.The location is very convenient to the many wonderful neighborhoods in West Vancouver. The property will also be very appealing to those who enjoy walking in the woods. Pacific Spirit Regional Park is 4 blocks away and has a myriad of well maintained trails through the tall trees.The home is nicely maintained and has lots of character. It has a nice deck and garden in back. The tree lined street is covered by a canopy of trees.The kitchen is well equipped, though without a microwave.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and recommend it highly.

Fabulous stay!

Trish and John are consummate hosts, and a delight to get to know! Everything we could need was provided and a wonderful visit started out. The home is lovely, the neighborhood quiet and the back yard is a gem! Raspberries!!

Wonderful stay

We were very happy to live in Trish’s and John’s charming and cozy home in Point Grey and appreciated to have a wonderful home for about 3 weeks. Trish and John are very nice hosts, the communication before we arrived and during our stay was very good, mails were immediately responded or we could phone. When we arrived from Germany we found wonderful fresh flowers, making us feel welcome and Trish and John showed us everything in the house. The entire very quiet area around the house is wonderful, we enjoyed daily walks through the streets admiring beautiful houses and flourishing gardens. There are short walks to 10th Ave with a very good bakery, a pharmacy, a supermarket and some restaurants, but with a car it’ s easy to go to a Safeway Store, to the beach with a splendid view of the water and the mountains. to Granville Island for example . UBC can easily be reached by bus, there is a bus stop at the 10th Ave. We loved the space for the two of us in the very cozy house, especially to work in the well organized kitchen, to sit at the table on the outside deck and listen to the birds. When we arrived from Germany it was very cold and we could use the gas chimney in the living room which was very comfortable. We can really recommend this wonderful house also for longer stays and would love to come back one day! Thank you Trish and John!

Haven on the hill!

We stayed at Trish & John's place for a week at the end of the summer. It was the perfect jumping off point for activities that ranged in all directions of greater Vancouver, and indeed a great haven to enjoy! The house is welcoming and sunny and very relaxing. Trish & John are super hosts and great to deal with. We highly recommend their place and would stay here again.

Haven in Vancouver

This was an ideal place to stay! The house feels like home. It is very warm and cozy with everything you need to have the perfect stay. The location is excellent. It’s very easy to get around the city from here and there are plenty of great cafes and restaurants right in the neighborhood. The hosts are lovely. Very much hoping for another visit here in the near future.

A home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay in Vancouver especially with being able to stay in this home. It comes complete with everything we would ever need. The kitchen was large and sunny complete with every pot and pan we needed along with some interesting cookbooks. The deck was a wonderful place to dine or just use your computer surrounded by lovely flowers and trees. We would have enjoyed a second t.v. in the lower level but understand this is coming. A printer would also have been handy. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely home and hope that we can come that way again. It truly is a lovely home.

Could not have been better.

The home is in a wonderful older established neighborhood. It is delightful in every way. The kitchen is well stocked and has wonderful pots and pans. The location is very quiet and convenient to downtown, local merchants, the beach and UBC and the fabulous gardens and museums there. The owners are very gracious and responsive. They are also so well organized. It made everything so easy.

Gorgeous House

We have a group of six people living in this wonderful house. This is a very clean and well maintained house. The owners are very nice and always check with us to see if we need any help. The house is very close for everything... supermarket, restaurants , coffee shops and even library. It's ust a walking distance. We would highly recommend this house to friends and relatives if they come to visit Vancouver. We really had a wonderful time in this house. Karen

Wonderful home!

Three of us (my husband, sister and I) stayed in this lovely home for the month of September. The house was beautifully maintained, incredibly well organized and very comfortable. It is in easy walking distance to many shops and public transit. The owners had left useful information regarding amenities/attractions in Vancouver and surrounding area. We would easily recommend this property to friends or relatives. Our stay was wonderful!

Delightful Home

Our family of four (children aged 17 & 21) spent the month of July 2013 here, and had a great experience. Beautiful and peaceful residential area. Very clean and well-maintained property with helpful owners. Easy walking distance (10 minutes) to cafe's, bakeries and other shops in West Point Grey area on 10th avenue. Slightly longer walk to the West Broadway commercial area, and a 20-25 minute walk to Jericho Beach. Cycling is much quicker. Bus stop is three blocks away, with buses going directly downtown. We would definitely recommend the property to friends and family. Excellent cycling area and easy access

An experience to be repeated!

This was a perfect solution for our holiday home in Vancouver, as we were accompanied by our 2 grown up children who had lots of room and privacy in the well-furnished basement. The couple who own the place are adorable, and were very accommodating. We'd love to come back and stay here, as it was such a lovely experience...to be repeated!

We are a retired professional couple in our mid 70's from Vancouver, Canada.
Our son, lives and works in Berlin and we are drawn to parts of southern Europe where we can settle for a time and all visit each other. As a result, we prefer longer term rentals.
A few years ago we did spend 3 months in Guatemala (studying Spanish and working as volunteers). Last year we lived in Sicily for 6 weeks and enjoyed many visits from our son.
Our home in Vancouver is a lovely place to stay while you visit or work. Situated in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood and close to local beaches and parks yet within a 20 minute commute to downtown.

Very peaceful and quiet with loads of charm exuding good energy.
Although "not new", we have gone to great lengths to maintain our home's original elegance and heritage. It is in excellent condition with many recent renovations and additions and well cared for grounds and garden.
