Minimalist Japanese-style Serviced Apartments | Staycation | BGC Area
HomeBase is a 5-storey mixed-use building in the borough of Kapitolyo, Pasig. It is a stone's throw away (5-min drive) from Bonifacio Global City, a large high-end commercial district, (5-min drive) from Capitol Commons and Estancia Mall, and 15-20 minutes away from the Ortigas Business District.
We've created each room to be self-contained, private and safe with its own digital lock, a full-sized toilet & bath, a dedicated work space for 2, and sleeping arrangements for up to 3 people. It's a perfect place for staycations as each room has its own kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, 55" TV with Netflix, unlimited WiFi and a hidden pull-out couch from under the bed. If you book with us, you also get free parking.
There is a common pantry and a roof deck, where only guests are allowed to use.
This property is also professionally managed and cleaned, with on-site security, maintenance and housekeeping.
For those who love design, you'll love the minimalist, Japanese aesthetic with plenty of storage spaces and exercises in simple design. You'll also notice the bare aesthetic as we were inspired by both brutalist and Muji, so we went ahead and made use of polished concrete, birch plywood, polycarbonate sheeting, and real wood blinds. Everything in the room is custom which makes this an incredibly unique space, anywhere!
Our property has commercial spaces on the ground and second floor, and parking is available at the basement level. We use carlifts to create 14 parking spaces within our 270sqm property.

This property is the realization of a dream to create more spaces for Humans. Just exactly what does that mean? We wanted to create something for the human scale. What matters to people who walk and bike the streets? Certainly, it is not a city designed exclusively for cars. We challenged ourselves to do the unconventional. There are small interventions such as keeping the sidewalk for pedestrians, offering bike parking, and moving car parking to the basement via car lifts. The big dream, if you will, is to create a more dynamic neighborhood by mixing business and homes and providing affordable housing. In the most beautiful cities like Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul, or Amsterdam, we see this as the best way to reduce commutes, encourage trade, and have a friendlier neighborhood.

This property has passive environmental features such as the ample use of daylight, low-e devices, cross ventilation, and proper insulation to reduce our energy impact. A rainwater collection system is also installed.

We’ve attempted to boil down our wants and needs into those that truly matter. In this minimalist setting, we encourage you to enjoy the cozy, clutter-free setting of the rooms. As we are social animals, we also encourage you to share a meal or coffee around the common Pantry on the 4th floor. If you wish for some quiet time, you may head to the Roof Deck and spot Mt.
