Great place for families!

We enjoyed staying here, great location! Loved the open floor plan and outdoor space. Host was very quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall house was great for us it work out perfect the only thing that I wasn’t to pleasant was the neighbors dog they kept barking all day and night long .

Our full size Kerig coffee maker with coffee pods, creamer and sugar are located in the kitchen at the beverage bar with all the other welcome items… perhaps you meant you were hoping for a traditional coffee maker? Great place to call home while away

The host did an amazing job of making sure we had all the info needed to enjoy our stay from the inclusion of all the amenities we could ever need to providing us with a list of where to go for a nice meal. The space itself was clean, spacious for a family of 4 and well decorated. Def. recommend this space for anyone. Lupe D.

Nice, Clean Property

Overall, this location was great. The neighborhood was gated community and very clean. Only complaint was not having access to property codes in a timelier fashion. Codes were sent literally one hour before check in.

Best time!

Host communicated ahead of visit. Home was just as described! Had a wonderful time with the pool and barbecue pit out back. Very relaxed atmosphere. Made a lot of memories there! When it got late, we played the games provided by the host. There was never a dull moment. Easy to forget “real life” with the amenities in this beautiful home!

Farmhouse Chic in Pharr

This house was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. Located in a great safe neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It’s close to the freeway if you need to travel further distances. It was super clean and organized, everything in the kitchen was labeled. The rooms are spacious and there is even a pool with a nice outdoor lounge area for the warmer months. The property manager was very responsive and friendly. They even accommodated a last minute request to extend our stay. We will be staying here on our future trips to the valley.

So comfortable and fun!

From the ease of check, to the security of the safe gated neighborhood, I was impressed with this clean bright home. Greeted every morning with a beautiful bright livingroom and kitchen area, to a pool that is completely shaded in the morning and evening was amazing and made our visit to McAllen fantastic. We found that we spent most of our time at the house by the pool teaching our daughter to swim in what we felt was the perfect size pool! So many wonderful memories at this house the week we stayed and I see why they love their home. Thank you so much for a wonderful first time using VRBO! Will stay again for sure and recommend!

Nice Place to Spend a Few Days

It’s a very nice place but the open floor plan plus no carpet made it very noisy. Every sound practically echoed throughout the house. Also no shoes allowed in the house; seemed like a good idea at first but our feet got cold (brrr), and we couldn’t wear socks on the slippery floor. We all loved the pool.

That is disheartening to hear you gave us a 4 star review for the type of floors we have in our home. We are as transparent as we can be by having pictures in our listing, clearly showing the type of floors, furniture, amenities and decor before you book a reservation. From our research and personal experience, my husband and I found that carpet traps much more bacteria, allergens and not as health conscious as uncarpeted floors. We strive to give the best experience for our guests including considering health needs. This is why our home is smoke free, pet free and shoe free (inside) with only area rugs in specific areas for safety and comfort.

Not Happy

Management did not send information in time when to enter the property, even though we were not in time for the check-in time. Got locked out on the third day saying there and no phone number was given to call to come and let us in. The temperature was set to 72 degrees, but the heater never turned on and the time we were there it was 65 degrees in the house the whole time we were there and we even had temperature at 33 degrees outside. 8 months baby was not happy. Communication is the key for success and this was not.

This is the first time in 2 years we've experienced a guest who was so disrespectful of our home, broke policies and who could not enter a home entry code properly on a key pad properly that we had to reset for this guest each day. This caused so much unnecessary anxiety knowing that guests were not caring for your home during their stay. We tried to assist in every way but instead this guest broke into our home through a window. This stay is making us rethink allowing VRBO guests in our home since there is very limited protection for home owners in these matters. I do not recommend this guest for other hosts.
