Modern Serenity by The Creek - Awesome Location

Modern Serenity by The Creek was a fantastic place to stay. It has two master suites and two sofa beds for sleeping. Additional amenities included four fireplaces and TVs including one outside on the back porch. The hot tub was great as well. The location is right in Hochatown near lots to do. Make sure you see the park and the lake.

Look elsewhere.

I’ll start with the good. The backyard was very nice with the creek and the playground. Our daughter enjoyed it. Unfortunately the cabin was very dirty. Light switches and walls were brown with fingerprints, countertops had crumbs in kitchen, thick layer of dust and dirt on all cabinet pulls, hair EVERYWHERE. The shower had large clumps of hair stuck to the shower wall and hair all in the floor. It was obvious that the showers had not been cleaned after the last guests. The floors were dirty and every rug and piece of furniture was heavily stained. Towels were stained and found multiple roaches in the bathroom. Window in living room had large hole that was taped up. We didn’t want to get in the hot tub because we didn’t trust that it had been cleaned. Owners said they would give a partial refund in exchange for a 5 star review but never received that either.

Relaxing, comfortable and quiet.

A great place to unwind. We enjoyed the big swing in the shady backyard and were visited by a rabbit, 2 deer and a few squirrels. The house is lovely- super clean, spacious and comfortable.

Nice property that is showing wear and tear and lack of maintenance.

Provided more detailed feedback to host who seemed dismissive since all other reviews were all 5 stars. -Multiple chipped dishes -Disgusting grill brush -Outdoor bed swing cover was gross. -One bedroom plug did not work -Upstairs pull out couch mattress badly stained -Dog Hair in property -Scuffed walls and scrapes -Fire Pit cracked and separating -Outside lights dirty and stained. -Burned out light bulbs. Note the river shown will likely be a completely dry creek certain times of the year. In my opinion the value proposition is lacking until the host addresses some of these issues.

We had a great time at Modern Serenity. The cabin is absolutely adorable. We spent alot of time on the patio and enjoying the backyard. Will definitely stay here again. Much needed relaxation!

Loved the paved roads in the area and the location. It was close to all restaurants and attractions, but still secluded enough for privacy at the property!

Family Get Away

The cabin was perfect for our family (4 adults and a toddler). We had a great time inside and out! Our granddaughter especially loved the outdoor playset. Memaw even saw some deer cross the road right in front of the house one morning. The walk-in showers are huge! The hot tub is bigger than the photos indicate. Check-in and check-out were super easy. We can't wait to go back!

Creek Side Comfort

The location of Modern Serenity was perfect for viewing the eclipse; on my birthday no less! Tucked away at the end of a paved lane, the cabin is perfectly positioned for privacy and easy access to area attractions. It is exactly as described and well appointed for couples or families with children. Great beds and baths, 4 TV's, a beautiful kitchen and a gas grill. I soaked in the sparkling hot tub while the rest of our party sat by the fire and watched the NCAA basketball finals. Morning coffee on the patio with cardinals calling is the way to start your day! This was our 4th stay in the area and we would come back to Modern Serenity in a heartbeat.

Better then we could have even imagined!

This house was everything for our family of 4! It was clean, it was well stocked and just perfect! All the amenities were well thought out and just quiet and serene for our getaway. We will be back and will stay at this house again. We wish it was ours!!!

Modern Serenity

Extremely nice property that was the perfect size for our family. It is beautifully decorated and looks brand new. The house was very clean and the response from the owner was excellent. It sits at the end of a Cul-de-sac away from traffic which is an added bonus! The loft upstairs has shuffle board, board games and a video game console that even the "older kid" enjoyed. Our overall stay at Modern Serenity was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Serenity, Indeed!

This was our first trip to the Broken Bow area and we were extremely pleased with the property. From our first interaction through the post-stay follow-up, it is clear that there is a focus on providing an excellent guest experience! First and foremost the property itself is lovely and very well appointed, a perfect mix of modern luxury and the "warmth" of a cabin in the woods. My family and I were very comfortable and the provided entertainment options were a hit with my kids! Second, the cul de sac location provided the backdrop for quiet evenings in the woods while enjoying the firepit or soaking in the hot tub! Finally, as I said above; the focus on guest comfort and convenience was evident throughout, from the ready-to-use gas grill, the starter firewood (who doesn't love s'mores?) to providing some snacks and coffee, which really made us feel welcome. We will definitely consider another stay in the future!

Perfect Family Trip!

We had a wonderful time at Nisha's place! The house is fully stocked and my kids loved playing in the yard and enjoying shuffle board and the arcade games. Host went above and beyond and was super responsive and helpful. We didn't to leave at the end of our stay and hope to come back again!

Our First Trip to Broken Bow

This was our first trip to the area and our family of five plus our niece couldn't have been happier at another home. Our children ranged from 17-4 and their was something for everyone at this cozy home. If a day full of adventure and fun followed by a relaxing evening are your desire then this is the place to stay. Located at the end of the road, it offered plenty of seclusion to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere of the surrounding area. We arrived to see a fawn bedded down in the grass beside the creek and instantly fell in love or it could have been the super comfy beds lol either way it was a love affair.

Great Cabin and Location

This was a great cabin, it was as fantastic as the description given. Our kids had an absolute blast with the creek in the back, they would play with it even in the rain. It was a beautiful new cabin and we would definitely stay there again.

The best cabin stay ever!!

I would love to say first the owner and property management team went up and beyond for us this stay , am actually a local and we love to go up when they have deals and off season the best time bc way less crowds and we highly suggest the hot tub this time of year was so perfect for my Lupus this cabin would been great for our whole family the game room and the play set out back ,I felt bad they didn't come but it was date night , we can't wait to come back and we will be staying here again I've stayed in so many but after our wonderful date night now we want to keep coming back !!!

Enjoyed our holiday stay

Very nice comfortable property. We loved the large bathrooms. It was too cold to go outside but had it been warmer, that would have been where we would have spent most of our time. Our grown boys enjoyed the upstairs game room and the bed was extra comfy. Thank you for hosting us.
