No se puede negar: el apartamento se beneficia de una ubicación única (de hecho, fue seleccionado entre la mitad de la puntuación de ubicaciones prestigiosas por una famosa producción de televisión)
Está a solo 50 metros (150 pies) de la plaza del Duomo: la magnífica catedral con su campanario de Giotto que aparece desde la esquina de la calle (a través de Dei Vecchietti).

Delightful Duomo stay in Firenze

If we were any closer to the Duomo we would be staying in it. Every day we would go around the corner of the building and have the beautiful view of the tower and Duomo, we enjoyed it immensely and never tired of it. Chiara's apartment was very clean, comfortable and spacious enough for our 5 week stay. While the photos accurately represented the apartment, we didn't appreciate how central the location was to all the major sites, restaurants and bars. Florence was just rated the #1 walking city in the world for good reason. The area is very safe and if you want an American burger, the Hard Rock Cafe is a 3 minute walk. Chiara is very responsive and we felt fortunate to have stayed in the apartment. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in Florence.

A charming apartment

Thank you so much for letting us stay in such a lovely apartment. Chiara's description was perfect so we knew exactly what to expect. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Security ( all those heavy wooden doors) is excellent, as is the wi fi. Storage is fine for 2 people for a week's stay. Just a couple of notes - this is a very old apartment, that is its charm, so you will need house shoes as there are several broken and loose floor tiles. The windows overlook the neighbouring aircon units and the offices in the next block. These are occupied from at least 7am and there is no window covering on the landing down to the bathroom! The only thing I didn't like was the hand rail to the bathroom - this is rope so cannot be cleaned. As you can see from Chiara's description, unusually for a European rental, there is no Welcome Pack but a few things have (I am guessing) been kindly left by previous guests. We used the Conad store just off Piazza del Duomo which is close by and has most things anyone would need. All in all we had a most wonderful time on our return to Florence. Thank you Chiara.

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento 4 notti, dal 17 al 21 giugno, con la mia famiglia. La proprietaria è gentilissima ed ha avuto molte accortezze: abbiamo trovato la casa pulita e profumata, l'antizanzare (Vape) già alle pareti in ogni stanza,il condizionatore accesso e tre cioccolatini sul tavolo! Si sa..le piccole attenzioni fanno sempre la differenza! L'appartamento è comodo e ben arredato ma soprattutto è collocato tra il Duomo e piazza della Repubblica, grazie alla sua posizione è facilissimo evitare i mezzi e girare tutto il centro storico di Firenze tranquillamente a piedi! Sicuramente ci tornerò e lo consiglio! Manuela

Perfect location, very well furnished

Chiara was a delight to deal with. She responded promptly to all of our pre-arrival inquiries, and the check-in process was seamless. The apartment had all the comforts of home including a larger than average refrigerator, good a/c, and excellent internet. All things we have not found common in European apartments. The pictures that Chiara posted are very accurate demonstrating a large living area and nice bedroom. We did not find having the bathroom located downstairs a problem, moreover, the bathroom was larger and better equipped than most we have found in our travels. We have stayed in Florence multiple times, and this was by far the best apartment we have experienced. We hope to return. Thank you, Chiara, for a wonderful stay.

Charming flat in a great location!

This is a well appointed apartment a very short distance from the Duomo! Our hostess provided helpful information on managing the apartment, navagating Florence, & a list of local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again! The only challenge is a lower level bathroom with low ceilings; however it was fully appointed with a tub & shower combo, separate shower, & small washing machine.

Well priced. Great location.

This home is in a vey central location and close to the train station. It has a very rustic charm, set in the maid's quarters of an old Palace! Of course that comes with a few quirks like loose tiles and a bathroom that is down a flight of stairs. But for someone who likes having the "real" experience when I travel, I loved it! Having said that, there are all the basic amenities and an abundance of hot water for the shower! The only two things I wish I had at the apartment were paper towels and a pen! The hostess was wonderful. She sent me very detailed instructions on how to enter the apartment (complete with photos), a list of garages to park my rental car, and she was easy to communicate with. We were a family of 3 (infant daughter) and the apartment was more than adequate for our needs. It was also nice having a crib all set up for my baby when we arrived! Thank you to Chiara.

Lovely central apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It could not have been more convenient for seeing Florence. The apartment was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We have been to Florence several times and this was definitely our best visit. Chiara was very helpful and prompt in replying to our emails. Lovely unique apartment in the heart of the city!

Ciao Chiara! I had to write this review and say Thank You! Your apartment was delightful for my 3 daughters and myself for the 4 nights we stayed. The location is perfect walking distance to everything and around the corner of the Duomo. Close to the train station, no taxi needed. The inside of the apartment is exactly as the pictures portray. The downstairs bathroom is quite large and my girls loved using it as their dressing room ( two slept on the living room sleeper sofa) it has a large tub, a separate shower, washing machine which we used with drying racks and heater to dry your clothes, worked out perfectly. Only thing I would add to bathroom is a full length mirror, my girls were fighting for the one in the bedroom... Those girls can take hours to get ready in the morning! Kitchen has all amenities we needed....coffee! Has a French coffee press which I learned to use. The apartment is a mix of wonderful bygone days and modern mixed......loved...loved....loved it! Unfortunately we never got to meet Chiara because we were so busy everyday with our itinerary! She emailed me ahead of our arrival with pictures of exactly how to enter the apartment building. No problems at all. She never asked us for the remaining money we owed so I told her we would leave it on the table to pick up at her convenience. When we returned to the apartment after a busy day touring she left us a little surprise.....delicious honey! Next time we come to Firenze we are staying here!!!!!! Grazie for everything and making our stay at your apartment & Firenze memorable! We visited Rome and Venice also, but our favorite is Firenze!😀 Deborah

Excellent location, apartment and host !

Excellent location, apartment and host ! Extremely clean apartment in a fascinating and quiet Palace in the heart of Florence. Proximity to shopping and museums is simply superb and Chiara was so friendly and keen to help make our visit to Florence a success. Free and full signal Wi-Fi was also an add on for us ... couldn't have asked for more, my wife and I have lived here like at home and wish we had stayed longer. worse place, worse experience

My sister and I stayed here for four days from June 26 to June 30, 2016. The owner asked us to do self check-in. Three days later, Chiara (the owner) called me around 5:00 PM, asking if she could come to pick up her money. She showed up on our door without checking with us, she was rude and very impolite, did not even ask, how we were doing or if we needed anything, after all, she never gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment was in a good location and that is all. The pictures are very deceiving. Also there were 15 sharp steps going to the bathroom. I usually wake up 2-3 times a night to go to bathroom and on many occasions, I was almost falling off those steps. I will not recommend this place to anyone and if we had a choice, we would have moved out of this apartment after one night. We had our worst experience, WORSE PLACE EVER.

Super Cute and Charming Apartment in the Best Location Ever

My husband and I stayed here for four days during a 3 week trip to Italy. We adored this apartment. The pictures don't do it justice- it's full of character and so unique. The bed was quite comfortable. It was nice to have such a huge bathroom too. The washer was also a bonus. The location couldn't be better. Florence is such a walkable city and the apartment is so close to many attractions- the Duomo, the Bargello, the Uffizi, Santa Croce, the Accademia, and Ponte Vecchio, just to name a few. There is no shortage of fine restaraunts nearby either. It's also a short walk to the train station. Chiara was very easy to work with. She responded promptly to all my inquiries and provided detailed directions for finding and getting into the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again if I ever find myself in Firenze again.

Un séjour magnifique

Notre séjour à Florence dans l'appartement de Chiara s'est passé à merveille. C'est un appartement parfaitement situé dans le centre de Florence, près du Dôme et des musées, des restaurants. On découvre la ville à pied et après une bonne journée de marche, on a le plaisir de revenir dans un appartement accueillant, propre, meublé avec beaucoup de goût, calme et très spacieux. GOOD AS IT GETS!

The old rule of Real Estate certainly applies here "Location, Location, Location" and it simply could not be better. It s only a few steps to the Duomo and there are plenty of small super markets nearby as well as the Mercado. The apartment is comfortably furnished and is fully air-conditioned. The kitchen is very adequate with a very large refrigerator and all the necessary appliances. The big bathroom is wonderful with a bath tub, shower, washing machine, and iron and board if needed. We would certainly stay in this apartment again should our travels bring us back to Florence. Chiara was very nice and helped us find the services we needed and gave us very helpful advice.

Perfect Location

Located very near the Duomo toward the Uffuzi, there is not a better location. Easy walk from train station and near all food and fashion stores. Very clean and roomy. Excellent service. Large Bathroom down steps but not a problem.

Firenze gem!

Our stay here was wonderful. Chiara is extremely helpful, patient and responsive. The apartment is perfectly located, well appointed and immaculate. If I ever get the chance to return to Florence, my visit step will be to contact Chiara and return to this rental. The unit's description is accurate, the bathroom is down some steep stone steps from the bedroom, but we didn't mind at all, especially since it is huge and contains a wonderful tub and a washing machine with plenty of space for a large drying rack. With the windows open you can faintly hear the street sound of Florence, not enough to be bothersome at all, and who could complain about the pealing of the cathedral bells!

Thank you, Chiara, for a wonderful stay in Firenze!

We just returned from a five day stay this amazing apartment right in the center of Florence. The apartment is perfectly located and we were able to walk to all the sights, restaurants, shops, etc. Chiara was an extremely attentive and helpful host, going out of her way to make us feel comfortable and offering us suggestions about what to see and where to eat. She even phoned a restaurant to make reservations for us (La Cucina del Garga - also highly recommended), and then printed out walking directions for us to follow! The apartment is very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well - equipped. We were able to cook our dinners with fresh local ingredients purchased daily at Il Mercato Centrale (have a panino con bollito from Nerbone - it is the best thing you will ever eat!). I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. Thank you, Chiara, for being a wonderful host!

Excellent Vacation!

I just returned from having spent 10 nights in this great apartment and it was absolutely perfect for exploring Florence. The location is excellent, the apartment is exactly as shown in the photos (actually larger than it appears), is flooded with natural light and, yes, I would definitely rent it again. The weather was fantastic so I didn't need either the air conditioning or the heating and the room temperature in the apartment was always very comfortable. Additionally, there was always an abundance of hot water with excellent pressure. Lorenzo was very gracious and helpful when I had questions. Overall, everything went off without a hitch and I look forward to my next visit!

A lovely apartment Florence

We loved this apartment for its spaciousness and old world feel but with enough modernity to make us very comfortable. We have been traveling around Europe for two months with a lot of luggage and this is one of the nicest and most unique apartments we stayed in. Very clean and well maintained, It has a roomy interior, comfortable bed, large living room and large bathroom (down a flight of stairs) with a washing machine and drying rack. Great location very near the Duomo and all the sights for which Florence is famous. There are some very good restaurants, enotecas and coffee shops in the area and lots of designer shops. We loved a restaurant close by called Obika and the lovely wine bar next door to it. The landlord could not have been more gracious and helpful with our many questions (and dropped by a lovely bottle of wine). We stayed an additional three nights, altogether six, as we had such a good time in the apartment and in the area and would definitely stay here on future visits. . Only addition for perfection would be the suggestion of a full length mirror.

Location, location, location

This apartment is much more than location, but the location puts you in the center of the most important sites in Florence. As if we were the center of a wheel, each day we would follow a spoke a different direction to find history, culture, art and food. And although we are in the very center of Florence, it was a quiet oasis being mostly on a people only street and three stories high with thick walls you would expect from a one-time palace of the Medici. The rooms are very-very generous and it was a big pleasure to able to spread out and relax in our own area. There are steps down to the bathroom and also to the front door, so it would not be handicap-accessible; but even with my bad knees, it was fine. Lorenzo is a delightful and accommodating person and had arranged everything in the apartment that we needed.

Charming! Castle-like and very comfortable! Close to everything including Piazza del Duomo, Palazzo/Ponte Vecchio, Bargello and Galleria Uffizi. Large IKEA kitchen (which is very well equipped), eat-in dinette and living room which leads into master bedroom and staircase going downstairs to bathroom and laundry. Nice appointments and decor. Tile floors and wood doors handcrafted centuries ago. Clean and well kept. Washing machine is very nice - no dryer - and be careful on the staircase down from the upper level Building is located on a busy street, but has excellent security. Building also houses a number of local resident families. Lorenzo is great - went out of his way to help - and took very good care of us! This is an ideal base of operations - and a great value - for nearly any Firenze holiday. Our family of three had a great time and think you will too.
