Remodeled in 2022, designed with beautiful materials, and furnished with modern and rustic pieces. The Whiskey Hideaway is perfectly suited for a family or individual looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. With the open floor plan, cozy wood-burning fireplace, large windows, you can enjoy the amazing view from the inside or simply step outside on the wooden decks. (Parties are NOT allowed)

Guests have access to the full property except (garage and storage room in the basement).

PARKING: Can hold 3-4 cars on the level access driveway

SECURITY CAMERA: The cabin is equipped with exterior security cameras. It’s for the safety of our guests and our own peace of mind.

We had a great stay at this log cabin in Arnold. The house was very clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed. Our boys especially enjoyed the plentiful toys in the house, which came in very handy and kept them happily entertained. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect cabin for our family weekend getaway. It is even more spacious than the photos suggest, with plenty of room to stretch out The decor is awesome, stylist and modern. Check in and directions made the entry process seemless, and Jimmy was super responsive to questions and with recommendations. The place had all the supplies we could possibly need and has a great washer/dryer set up. Bedding was super comfortable. Nice deck and outdoor hangout area. Super clean environment. Would book again anytime!

The house was wonderful—upgraded, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. The location was perfect, close to Big Trees and Murphys, making it easy to explore the area.We loved the space and all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Spacious Property

This property was spacious and there was more than enough room for a family of 4. We stayed here to see the Calaveras Big Trees which was only a few mins away! Jimmy was responsive and provided us recommendations on places to visit. The kitchen was fully stocked and we made breakfast and dinner too! I would definitely stay at this place again.

Great location and updated home—My husband and I recently stayed here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The neighborhood was quiet, and the home was updated and equipped with air conditioning, which is essential in this area. It was clean and met all our needs, being close to a grocery store and well-stocked with kitchen essentials. The host was very responsive and provided helpful information about the local area.

Great location and spacious accomodations

Worked good for a girls weekend of 4 people. Plenty of beds and space to spread out. Bathrooms and kitchens updated. Neighborhood was very nice and quiet and it is close to the grocery store and restaurants.

Great stay for families

Two families with two younger children each stayed very comfortably at this property. The property looks like the pictures and it is close to restaurants and shopping. It was missing a few kitchen items, but the owner was very responsive and helpful.

Spotless cabin and great owner

We were skeptical but the cabin was spotless and furniture was exactly as appeared in pictures. Beds were comfy and bathrooms had nicely updated fixtures, which made for a very comfortable stay. We had an issue with the heat and Jimmy was extremely responsive and fair. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The host is very friendly. I have really enjoyed with communication. The house is really nice.The modern design, amazing kitchen with perfect hood. The neighborhood is great. You can have 2 hours hike and see wonderful forest and small river with waterfall directly from the house.Now about some minuses. There were couple problems with cleaning. Hairs in bathroom and contact lense in bedroom. After call these mess was removed. And there is no trash can on the street. If you travel for several days and cook at home - all trash with bad smell will be with you. It’s annoying on the 5th day. But may be we produced too much trash with small baby. May be I wish I have couple more pots: small and medium. That’s it. I think I’ll set 4,5*, but I can’t.

Okay! First, let me tell you that we had to cancel our trip due to a blizzard, and Jimmy did everything he could to accommodate us for another week and help us out. All the pictures are realistic, beds are very comfortable, the kitchen and house are super modern and high-quality. Jimmy left a bunch of wood for us. Definitely, we will be back, and I highly recommend this secret gem in Arnold. For those who want to ski, it is very close to Bear Valley. It is also close to hikes, downtown, and lakes.

Beautiful house

This house was just what we needed for a long weekend away. It's located in a very quiet neighborhood but close to the grocery store. The interior was beautifully decorated. My 6yo love the downstairs playroom and his own bedroom down there with the bunk bed. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. My only complaint would be that there are no shades on the bedroom windows. Jimmy, our host, was very attentive and quick to respond to all my messages. We would absolutely come back!

Perfect family get away!

This is a beautifully renovated property with perfect space for two families with younger-older children to enjoy a weekend in the woods. We booked for a weekend after a major storm so had some snow to play with on the property. We were able to do simple sledding in the backyard. Wood furnace worked well to heat up the area and rooms had space heaters for extra warmth. Host was very gracious. Easy to contact and readily offer calls to help with any questions regarding the property.definitely recommend if you are looking for a cabin in the woods. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. I’m happy to have booked this property and have made core memories for my little babes. We really appreciated the downstairs den with shuffleboard and arcade style game. Thank you again to the hosts for helping us make a memorable weekend for our family!!!

The deck offers beautiful and private views where you can enjoy the fresh air with a cup of coffee in the morning, a BBQ dinner at night, and a fire pit to keep you warm while stargaze with a bottle of wine.

When night falls, comfortable accommodations await in all 3 bedrooms; one king bed, two queen beds, three twin beds, and a twin trundle. Downstairs, you'll find another living area, flat-screen TV, equipped with puzzles, books, board games, shuffleboard, and arcade. Kids will absolutely love it!
