Waterfront Cottage in a Bimini oasis

A unique piece of paradise in North Bimini, “Martin’s” villa (named for Martin Luther King, who also loved Bimini, coming here to meditate, write, and explore the mangroves) sleeps two and overlooks the water with an open bright living space and a full kitchen, nestled in a lush half-acre enclave. Enjoy our deck right on the water for outdoor BBQ, or just watching the boats go by and birds gliding and swirling. The property has 100 feet of waterfront and a large dock. No additional cost for boat docking; boats up to about 28' have docked here (low tide about 24"). No canals, no condos. Martin’s offers an authentic Bimini-island experience outside the resort and the condos, without sacrificing creature comforts and style. A private, gated property steps away from a friendly local community with great restaurants, bars, and stores. If you want a larger gathering with family or friends, we have two other cottages close by on our property (see #2814314 and #2875346). A quick cart ride south to Radio Beach and the attractions of Alice Town. And a quicker cart ride north to the restaurants, casino, and other offerings of Resort World. Enjoy our yoga mats - a great way to start the day watching the sunrise. Starlink high-speed WIFI for Netflix (or checking in at work, if you must). Swim/snorkel right out front. Spectacular sunrises, sunsets, and rising moons are at your doorstep!

This place is wonderful. Also, the owners, property manager, and housekeepers are all very nice and gracious! Plus Bimini is a great place to relax and the local residents are quite friendly and helpful.

Perfect place

The Martin cottage was perfect for my wife and I. It has everything you need to make your own meals or whatever else. It was comfortable and clean. We had a small issue but it was taken care of extremely fast. Didn’t really expect that, I was impressed. I recommend staying here.

Convenient and Clean

The property was so conveniently located, boat was docked just feet away from our back door. It made our trip to Bimini so much easier. Loading and unloading food, luggage, coolers was a breeze. Having a private dock with fresh water is a big time bonus. We will definitely return to this property when we decide to return to Bimini.

Amazing experience

We truly enjoyed our visit. The binder was super helpful. The house manager was responsive. We had an issue finding it from the water and she went out and waved at us from the dock so we could find it. My husband says only wants to ever stay here when we come back.

I've stayed at this cottage several times. For a single traveler or couple it is a perfect spot. Great view of the flats of north Bimini from the kitchen/dining room, and bedroom.

Best Place in Bimini

A group of us rented all 3 cottages for a week and it was even better than it looks on line. The views were spectacular and the cottages were so cute and clean. The property Manager was SO fast to respond - set up gold carts for us, dropped off propane when we ran out- just on top of everything! We are already planning our next trip. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Beautiful cottage in paradise

We had the most amazing stay at the cottage. It was well appointed and had everything we needed. The access to the dock was amazing. Snorkeling was beautiful. We did not expect the expense of local goods and wears and the unfortunate lack of access to fresh foods (especially fresh fish) seems like everything was fried, but we did find fresh conch tropical salad! Be prepared to visit the Hilton and their ATM and possibly a meal or two to get something fresh. Overall ambience, accessibility, and the property manager was very helpful as well.

Adorable Cottage

It was a quick 3 night trip. Loved looking at the water daily, just outside the living room door. Owner was quick to respond when needed. Cottage was clean and just adorable. I liked the local art in the home. It was a nice touch!

We'll be back. We liked this place a lot, and will probably be our new regular spot in Bimini. The local property manager was quick to help with everything that we needed. Everything was clean and the host/manager were very accommodating.

Amazing trip and place to stay.

It was absolutely perfect for us. Clean comfortable and the dock was exactly what we were looking for with bringing our boat and having easy access to explore. Location is perfect you can walk to liquor store and local grocery store. Very very limited but we were able to get what we needed. I e was the only thing we missed having but bought that at the store.

Perfect Island Cottage for 2 + Boat + Fur Baby 🐾

This Bimini Cottage was exactly what my husband and I was looking for and more. The cabin was bright, clean, comfortable, and roomy for a 1 bedroom/ 1 bath. We would stay here again hands down! If you are thinking of the Hilton this place is WAY BETTER! The location is great and view of the stunning crystal clear blue water and island breeze is beyond relaxing. The property manager and owner was a text away whether you were in need of a golf cart rental delivered, general information or an extra broom. To top off this memorable adventure, the local island kids next door brought us so much joy! They would stop by the dock and politely ask to play in the shallow water, they loved our dog and helped us wash him as he returned from a long salty sunny fun boating day! This was the perfect island getaway! Love this little gem! Will definitely be renting this place again soon! 💕

Second Great Stay

Third trip from Florida to Bimini and second stay at this wonderful cottage. The location and the cottage itself make it my only choice in Bimini. So close to the best of island restaurants, groceries, beaches, not to mention the friendly locals. Hope to make this my mini-vacation from Florida destination many more times.

Greatest Stay on Bimini

Can’t say enough good things about this rental. It is exactly as expected. The home is delightful both inside and out. Equally great is the location. Weather during our stay was poor, but I would return to this home in a heartbeat in any weather. Only negative is the lack of internet we experienced, which I’m sure would have been corrected with provider if it were not over Christmas holidays.

Joe and Karen visited Bimini before they were married over 25 years ago. After island hopping with their two boys Pete and Sam (now grown) seeking out the best diving, fishing, and boating they finally bought these vacation cottages in Bimini in 2021. The whole family is certified Advanced scuba divers and Joe is a trained free diver. They wanted a place to share with extended family and rent to those seeking warm, stunning blue water and a friendly, local island community.

The location of the Cottages at Bimini (Ernie's, Martin's and West Wing) make it a special, idyllic place. It is a completely private enclave for you to nestle into comfortably, but only a stone's throw from the friendly local community with great family restaurants and bars, Edith's famous pizza, Pat & Ebbie's bar & grill, a small liquor store, groceries, and shops. The health clinic is right across the street. A quick golf cart ride south to Alice town will take you to wonderful restaurants, Radio Beach, Dolphin house, and all the attractions of authentic Bimini. Or take a quick right north and in 4 minutes you can experience the restaurants, Casino, and other offerings of the Hilton and Resort World.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Ernie's, Martin's and West Wing are all newly, fully renovated, with new kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and decks. In addition to partially shaded decks, Martin's and Ernie's also have beach areas to lounge in as you look over the beautiful waters and watch the boats cruise by. The sunrises, sunsets, and rising moons are spectacular. There is nice snorkeling right off the dock, or just stand and watch the fish and eagle rays swim by. We've been known to swim straight out from the dock to grab a lobster and a couple of conchs for dinner. And we welcome your dog.
