It was a beautiful cabin. The fireplace outside was perfect for grilling during the chilly nights. We got a beautiful thunderstorm show while we enjoyed the hot tub. There were so many activities in the cabin making it easy to occupy my children. My son and husband love fishing so being so close to the water was perfect!

House had everything you would need and more! My family really enjoyed our stay at this house as it had something for everyone. We used the grill and hot tub almost every day. The beds were comfortable and the house felt clean. I would recommend to anybody considering staying in this area.

Beautiful mountain home

The house is beautiful, exactly as shown. We walked to the lake m on a private path. We went into Grand Lake several times and enjoyed the beach, restaurants, and shops. The hot tub was a big hit as was the ping-pong table, shuffleboard, and basketball game. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful outdoor deck. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting to vacation in the area.

This house had everything we needed and more! Plenty of towels for the hot tub and showers and a very stocked kitchen. The place was very clean and well kept and there were many things to see in the area along with the beautiful views around the house. Irina was very helpful and answered my questions in a very timely manner. We would love to stay again!!!!

Comfy and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were nice and cupboards and refrigerator had all the necessaries needed. Mayo, mustard, steak sauce, flour, coffee, filters, even flour. Nice surprise.

Visited for a long weekend and snowmobiling trip. The house was great, we particularly loved hot tubbing in the snow. Will definetly be back!

Great stay in Grand Lake!

We really enjoyed our family's first visit to Colorado. Grand Lake is a bit remote, so there wasn't much to do (especially with our 4-year old), but we didn't mind. We did a lot of relaxing, sledding, using the hot tub, and watching movies. The house was really nice and spacious!

End of Summer Trip

We enjoyed our stay. Neighbors are pretty close but we had a nice view between the houses and didn’t see any neighbors while we were there.

Family adventure

Excellent location with plenty of beautiful nature to enjoy, with easy access to three mountain lakes. Also, lots of activities nearby. We enjoyed horseback riding, whitewater rafting, paddle boats, kayaking, pontoon boating, and nature hikes all close to our location. The hot tub at the house provides a refreshing pause after a day of activities and the house provide a great room upstairs for adults to enjoy while the younger ones enjoyed the diversity of games available in the lower level.

Perfect Stay

This property was perfect for families. They had tons of fun games and activities. The patio with the fireplace is what sold us on it and it was the perfect place to have dinner with a view. VERY well stocked. VERY clean. This was a wonderful home base for us to explore and adventure around Grand Lake. Would 100% return to this home. Owner was always responsive with any questions. Highly recommend!

Repeat stay

This was our 2nd visit to this property. We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was green upon arrival but the property manager was able to get a pool cleaner there on day 2 to empty, refill and get back in shape for use. Lucky we were still there when he arrived so the cleaner could access an indoor water connection. The outside one was either frozen or shut down for the winter.

A Tranquil Mountain Escape

Great family vacation spot!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was beautiful! It was as described, and very well appointed. It fit our needs for a family of 10 perfectly. Check in and checkout were very easy. Hi, I am Irina and we are a family of 4. Although not native to Colorado, we lived here since 2008. We absolutely love this beautiful state and enjoy everything Colorado has to offer! We camp and hike in the summer and ski in the winter.
Grand Lake is our favorite place in Colorado. We love it so much for its proximity to water, Rocky Mountain National Park, great hikes, fishing, ski resorts, and so much more. Shadow Mountain Cabin is our family getaway and we like sharing it with our guests when we are not there.
I like traveling and stayed in many Airbnbs. I know what a host should do to create a comfortable guest experience. Which means you’ll get high service and quality.
