This cabin is a blend of rustic and sophisticated charm. You get to enjoy a remote feel with the luxury of being minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock and Boone. One of a kind locally handcrafted art throughout. Abundant hiking and scenic vistas abound. Some are even in walking distance. After a day full of adventure and exploring. End your day with a relaxing soak in the hot tub and a few marshmallows by the fire pit.

8 miles to Appalachian Mt, 10 to Sugar and 18 to Beech.

Perfect for a relaxing ski weekend with the family! Kitchen was great for cooking at home, had a pretty snowfall while there and enjoyed the hot tub and family time in the living room. Would absolutely stay again! **We were glad we took my fiancé’s truck with 4 wheel drive as it is a small windy road.

A fantastic experience! The drive and directions are easy. Reality was better than the very good pictures. Clean, up to date, pretty, a fine cabin. Kitchen is very nice. We cook. Double oven. Hot showers! Hot tub was clean and hot! We do this alot and we were really impressed and this cabin is one that we will really request again. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Birthday weekend

Perfect weekend getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday! The home was just as described! Very quiet area. The hot tub was superb! We would love to come back some time!

Weekend Trip

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to hiking, dining and shopping. I enjoyed seating outside watching the birds. We saw 3 deer next door in the yard in the morning. This is a great place to stay.

Family quality time.

It was our second time going my children loved our first stay and they requested to go back. Nice place to spend some quality, bonding and reconnecting time with family. Kids love everything about this place but specially the hot tub and fire pit.

We stayed for 2 night while we visited ASU. The property is even more welcoming than the photos! We appreciated all of the communication we had with the owners and appreciated all their attention to detail throughout the cabin. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Mountains Retreat!

We had a simply wonderful stay in Boone, NC while touring Appalachian State University with my 18-year-old son. Cameron and Angie’s cabin was spotless, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable—the hot tub and quiet setting made it feel like a true retreat.Our communication with the hosts wasn’t about issues—there weren’t any—it was all about App State and things to do in the area. They were kind, responsive, and full of great local insight. Their welcome book was just as helpful and made exploring easy. A truly memorable stay—thank you, Cameron and Angie!

We loved the cabin. It was perfect for us.

We had a total of 5 and it was perfect for us. Downstairs can get a little chilly without the wood heater. Upstairs is toasty. Perfect little spot to relax and enjoy. Owner was very quick to respond to messages. Booklet they have on the table is very informative for the cabin and area. We will be back!

Wonderful cabin!

This property is perfect! It is located in the woods on a tiny road so you feel like you are away from it all but it is central to so much of the surrounding area. The house itself is well maintained, clean and very comfortable. The owners have obviously taken great care to make sure it has all the little things you might have forgotten to pack. We traveled with our young boys and they loved the cabin feel of the home. I highly recommend this for couples and small families. We could not have had a better stay!

Outstanding Property!

This place is great. Very clean, comfortable beds, true to the pictures, and well equipped. The hot tub and fire pit are an added bonus. If you're on the property at dawn or dusk you'll also have an opportunity to see plenty of deer!

We enjoy live music, good eats and exploring new places. Cameron and I embrace every adventure and try to find hidden gems in all the areas we visit.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The High Country of North Carolina has always been a destination for us. We try to get here as often as we can. This property is located right in the middle of three towns that we like to visit often (Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk).

Located off a little dirt road in a small quiet community. You feel like you are far off the beaten path. Yet you are minutes away from some of the best hiking NC has to offer. Hebron Falls is a short but adventurous hike from the front door. The proximity to hiking, the Blue Ridge Parkway, several local towns and NC skiing made this an easy choice for use to call this place our second home.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The handmade railings and preserved barn on the property really caught our eye. The pleasant mix of rusting and sophisticated is exactly what we wanted. All the creature comforts needed but still feels like a cabin in the woods.
