It was great to be back at Grey Cliff again - beautiful home & fantastic views. The owner & property manager were so helpful in making our stay a special one. Many thanks!!Most days we took picnic lunches in our packs & hiked different trails. Really enjoyed doing the Skerwink, Fox Island, and Gun Hill trails again. The wild blueberries along the trail were amazing. We did not expect how incredible the fall colors would be everywhere! One afternoon, a small cruise ship came into the harbor & anchored for a few hours right below Grey Cliff. Quite a sight! Had wonderful meals at both Twine Loft & Fishers' Loft. Didn't get a chance to try Brightside Bistro but next time. Be sure to visit Two Whales for coffee & yummy goodies.No matter what we did each day, we were always very happy to return to Grey Cliff and just relax and enjoy this very special home.Thank you so much for sharing your home! We had a terrific time.

Great Time in Trinity

Great location and view. Property was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Plenty of space for my family of 5 adults to sleep, spend time together, and to have some private space, too.

Beautiful Home Overlooking Trinity

We had a lovely stay at Hogarth House. We decided last minute to spend a few days in Trinity and so glad we did. The house overlooks Trinity proper and it is a spectacular view. Comfortable for our family of 6 - enclosed outdoor space was very nice to enjoy evening fire. Also 3 min drive to Sherwink trial which was a highlight!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hogarth House. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was amazing and the outdoor fireplace was wonderful to have on the cool nights in June.

Stunning Property in a Perfect Location

Everything about this place is as good (or better) than it looks online. There are a handful of top-notch choices in the Trinity and Trinity East area, but the advantage of Hogarth House is that it combines modern comfort, stunning views AND relative privacy. Being within walking distance of the world class Skerwink trail and easy driving distance to Trinity and many other hiking trails was a huge plus.We had one minor service hiccup in that housekeeping did not leave us a key to the house (the door was unlocked as usual when we arrived), but part of the Newfoundland charm is that you really DON’T need to lock anything up! We left our doors unlocked during the day while we were out hiking and iceberg spotting. It certainly never bothered us.The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed. We did not use the wood burning fireplace (one side opens to the living room, the other to the outside screened in porch) but it looked amazing.Three full bathrooms with shower/tub combinations was greatly appreciated for our family of five. We felt like idiots trying to turn on the water to the shower faucet because the design is not at all intuitive. Once the water is running from the bathtub faucet you need to pull down on the ring/end of the bathtub faucet spigot in order to divert the water to the shower head.We are already looking forward to when we can next stay at Hogarth House!

2nd Wonderful Stay at Hogarth House

This was our 2nd visit to Hogarth House. As with our 1st stay in 2022, everything was wonderful. The house was the perfect home base for exploring the Bonavista Peninsula. Great view across the harbor to the Village of Trinity & Fort Point Lighthouse. Depending on the weather, enjoy the view from the outdoor deck, the enclosed porch or the upstairs reading nook. Fireplaces in both the living room & on the porch are great for chilly days (ample firewood supplied). Comfortable furniture & nicely decorated. Quiet, private location. Close to several hiking trails, 15 min. to Trinity, 35 min. to Bonavista. Overall, highly recommended.

Beautiful Place

This house was plenty big enough for the 7 of our family to stay very comfortably but was also cozy and wonderful for gathering around the fire. The view of Trinity is magnificent!! We were delighted with our stay!

Incredible View

This home was absolutely beautiful! Tucked away in the hills of East Trinity overlooking the historic town of Trinity. If we had to say anything negative it would be that there was no smart TV as advertised. Essential requirement for our elderly mother as she was housebound. There was a DVD player but did not work.

The Best View in Trinity East

We have stayed at Hogarth a number of times and the covered porch and view is what draws us back each time. The home is spotless, and cozy, perfect for a family and friends. The host has been wonderful communicating with us, and we hope to continue our yearly visits to Trinity East.

Annual getaway with friends

This is our 4th year meeting our friends for a catch up weekend at Hogarth House. It’s perfect for the 5 of us to enjoy the area by taking walks, playing card games and having a glass of wine by the beautiful fireplace!

Exceptional property

The view, the front deck, the fireplaces. Wow. I do believe this is the most beautiful property we’ve ever stayed in. I said this the last time I visited the Trinity area (another property) and I heard it from others staying in other locations in the area. Must be something in the water!

Beautiful home

Hogarth House is the castle on the hill. It’s beautifully appointed. The kitchen had all the utensils you could possibly need. All the rooms are beautifully furnished. We wish we could have spent a week or more. We hope to return for a longer visit.
