Two seaside cottages with beautiful views and total privacy
Enjoy two beautiful dog-friendly oceanfront cottages with panoramic sea views and expansive walking trails out the back door. You will fall asleep listening to the sound of the ocean, smell the sea and watch lobster-fishing boats hauling their traps. Out the back door you will find a myriad of wonderful wooded paths for walking. This is a family property where we have two cottages, both of which have beautiful views and everything you could want. The first cottage has 3 bedrooms (all second floor), a full bath and a half bath, the second cottage has 4 bedrooms, with a master bedroom and full bath on the first floor, and another full bathroom and three bedrooms on the second floor. Master bedroom of new cottage has French doors opening onto the deck.
The first cottage is listed as VRBO #174769, the second cottage was constructed in 2022.
The cottages are simply furnished but have everything you need including well stocked kitchens. If you feel like heading out, Rockland (15 min drive) offers excellent dining options, the Farnsworth Museum and great shopping.
These cottages are well suited for a small gathering/wedding/family reunion. There is water (family dock) access a short walk away for an additional fee ($500), as well as clay tennis courts. We welcome dogs also! we have an additional property located at the head of the harbor that can be accessed for swimming, bird watching etc. Please inquire.

This property has been in my family for generations; my husband and I built the first cottage 17 years ago and recently decided to put a second cottage on the property. We use the cottages regularly (we live in Yarmouth, Maine) but also love to share them with people. The cottages are small (ish) - 1500 SF and 1700 SF respectively but have everything you could need and the surrounding property is wonderful for walking. You won't find a more peaceful spot.
I am frequently in the area as much of my work is related to Maine fisheries and development of workforce housing in the midcoast. My family and I live just a bit to the south in Yarmouth, Maine. I also keep a few horses at my barn near the properties so there is often a good chance you'll catch me and one of my daughters riding on one of the trails.
