3 separate apartments

Make sure you understand it is 3 separate apartments. They are really nice but if you have a large group like we did, there is no common are to eat or hang out.

The house was lovely and perfect for us. The service when we had issues getting in was not great. I had to call customer service 4 times to finally get some help. And it took 5 hours to get into our rental

Lovely, beautiful place, 3 separate apts close to ocean

We enjoyed our stay. There is a deck for each apartment and they are very modern and beautiful. Gas fireplaces worked in 2 of the apartments. The stove worked in 2 of the apartments and in the 3rd apt as well after we purchased a lighter stick to light it. The floors are not very clean in the apartments so we kept shoes on. The carpet in the hall stairs was not vacuumed. We enjoyed the daily deer out back and we appreciated being a 5 min drive to the ocean. Overall, a lovely stay.

Excellent!

The property was clean and well stocked. We had some issues with the 1st floor fireplace not able to start and the master shower on the first floor was clogged. We bought some draino and that did the trick. Lovely place to stay as an option to a hotel if you have a large group. There were 3 couples and my son and my daughter brought her 1 year old. So everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Would highly recommend! Jan

I rented units a,b and c for meeting family at the coast. We were notified before arriving that the oven in unit a did not work, I asked if we could get compensated as we were not getting what was advertised, the person said they would ask and I never heard back. Not only was the oven not working in unit a, units b and c had freezers that were half working. In unit b the freezer had ice all over it and we could barely get open, the unit c freezer was frozen closed, we could only open it about 4 inches so we were unable to use it. There was stained carpet and linens, outside lighting didn’t work, the shower/tub in unit b was plugged, the door to the deck in unit a had a broken arm. The scariest thing however, was when we used the dryer in unit c and the whole apartment started getting very hot. We looked behind the dryer and found not only was the vent not connected to anything and blowing hot air all over, but a massive amount of lint and a serious fire hazard (see photo). The property while new, appears to have had zero upkeep since it was built. The positives were a short walk to the beach and each unit had supplies for making food and eating meals. The bedrooms hac no ac or fans so if it’s warm, at all, you have to have the windows open (especially in the upper units) and the road noise will wake you up repeatedly. This could be a great property with a little care and thoughtfulness, it’s really too bad.

Not a house as advertised on Expedia.

Advertised as a house when it is an apartment building with different units and entries which doesn't work if renting as a family. Pro-Israel literature on all the bookshelves does not offer a lot of diversity when choosing what to read. The main entry key code was not provided to us we had to call on arrival.

Great location, Disappointing Property

This was a family vacation so we rented all three units at this property. Location was perfect with easy access to downtown and the beach. Two of three units had ovens that didn't work, causing our first night's dinner to be microwaved at 10pm after attempting to bake for several hours. We had to adjust the remainder of our meals to be cooked on the grill, on the stove, or in the microwave. One unit's AC leaked significantly and left us with a soggy couch and lots of cleanup upon returning from an afternoon walk. Each unit had a balcony, which was wonderful with the weather we had, but were covered in cobwebs that had been there for ages. We made the best of it but it definitely made for a challenging vacation. Very disappointing.

Gold Beach

Here is a list of concerns. Level A, not able to watch TV in second bedroom, fire place did not work, no cold water in the kitchen sink, the shower curtain in the west bathroom was ripped (the clear one). The closet door sticks. The west bathroom tank stopper did not close ran for 5 hours. The oven does not work correctly the door to the balcony is loose. Level B. The first bedroom TV does not turn off and the west bedroom TV did not work. It would have been nice to have directions how to operate the TV’s. The carpet in the first bedroom is filthy. Level C Kitchen faucet is very loose. Diane

Dissatisfied with the service!!

The communication was poor. I was very dissatisfied how we had to wait an hour after arrival because we didn’t have the codes for the rooms. We waited for 30 minutes before we got a call back from the person to get the codes to enter. There was also poor miss understanding on your part because I had booked the stay from the 11- through the 15 and they did not schedule us that way. So at 9:30 on the 14 they were pounding on the door for us to be out because they were there to clean. So when I Called to verify the stay the gal told me we needed to be out because they had another party coming in by 4.. I asked if there’s another vacant open that we could rent she said no!! And hang up.. We were all very distraut by the way our vacation went.. I hope no one ever has to go through this..
