Perfect cozy studio in Pleasant Valley,
NY surrounded by nature. We are located close to beautiful towns such as Millbrook, Rhinebeck, Poughkeepsie, Amenia and Mashomack Polo Club and many fine restaurants.
The studio has plenty of space for you to relax. Antique and artwork details . Kitchen is fully equipped. Our chickens will greet you every morning.
there is a sofá bed for a third guest.
We have chickens, cats and dogs.

All property is for you to enjoy. You can buy our happy eggs for healthy breakfast. Barbecue area for you by request.
My family and myself will be here to assist you if you need anything.

The studio was a perfect stay for 2 nights. The only plans we had was dinner at the CIA which was very convenient to the Studio and also a short ride to Millbrook. Enjoyed the quaint towns and if you love whiskey we happened to discover Tenmile Distillery which is worth a visit!

Not what we expected

We were unaware that the studio was in a basement. It was terribly musty smelling. It was 62 degrees, very cold and we were unable to adjust anything. The host said we could turn on the heater however the heater too did no work. There were no towels or washclothes and the bedding for the small fold out was not available. The fold out was smaller than pictured. Thankfully I had inquired about the bedding ahead of time and I did bring sheets, however when paying what we did I would have expected bedding for all beds, and the basic amenities like towels and washclothes. We were unable to stay due to the condition of the air since we had diffuculty with allergies and breathing because of it. There was a storage room right off of the studio that was filled with items which added to the musty dampness. We contacted the host to let her know that we couldn't stay there and she assured us that we would be reimbursed. However after trying to contact her several times, we found out today that she will not be reimbursing us. Be sure to check reviews before you book any place. I will be doing that for sure as we did see after the fact that there were a handful of reviews addressing the air quality of the studio and the lack of towels etc. It truly makes me sad that the host told me I would be reimbursed for the two nights we were unable to stay and she went back on her word. It was a big loss.

Private location

We booked for studio; however, host said it wasn't available and asked if we wanted to book the cottage. When we arrived, we ended up at the studio. She mixed up the calendars. When we arrived, door was unlocked; however, key was not on the hook at stated. There was a strong fragrance in the space which was a plug-in. I unplugged it immediately; however, I ended up with breathing issues, so I didn't sleep well. There were no bath/face/hand towels, so we had to request from the host. Rec'd them about 1/2hr later along with 3 farm fresh eggs. The tv was not working so the host replaced the batteries in the remote. Also, requested an extra blanket which host dropped off. The studio is spacious. The sofa bed is not the same as shown in the picture. It's small (2-seater) so not sure if it's a pull-out bed.

Woodsey Retreat

I loved the location surrounded by mostly woods and the quiet atmosphere. The hosts are very nice and were very helpful. Everything I needed was inside. I may be back!

Cozy and comfortable stay in Dutchess County.

Make sure to introduce yourselves to goats Bruno and Rocky, they're the sweetest. Really cozy and comfortable studio in quaint Dutchess County. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Clean, peaceful and convenient

I was in the area for business and pleasure and spent the week there. Absolutely no complaints. So much better than a hotel. Will definitely be back.

Adorable space, responsive host, chickens!

For a woodsy getaway close to real highways, here’s your spot. A good home base for local activities. Cute not chic, clean and functional. Chickens and goats on the property added a great farm with no work charm.

Disturbing noises

In the middle of the night there were disturbing noises in the room behind this studio apartment. It sounded like someone was trying to break through the door into my sleeping space. I left mid-way in between my stay and moved to a hotel.

I am a mother, wife, attorney and a dedicated host. We are a family of eight plus the fur-members, Frank, my husband, three teenagers are off in collage, one still at home and two firecracker girls of 8 and 7 yo, and last but not least our dog, two cats, five goats, two geese and 29 chickens.
My family and I are delightful to share with you, our small paradise. We all work hard to maintain the 4-acre yard. My kids are responsible for the wellbeing of the animals.
