Private Guest House 20 Minutes from U of A

Cozy cottage guest house located on 7 acre property in Prairie Grove, AR. Great retreat for Razorback game weekends, sporting events, graduation, and festivals at only 15-20 min drive from University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. We are within 5 minutes of Prairie Grove's Antique District, Battlefield State Park, and the Prairie Grove Aquatic Park. Amenities include kitchenette, pool, basketball court, swings and beautiful grounds. The pool is open through August. Sleeps 3 comfortably with a queen and twin bed. We do have a queen size air mattress available if you would like to have up to 5 guests.

This is a guest house, located next to the main house (as shown in the listing photos.)

This is a studio style home where the bedroom and living space are combined. With a separate bathroom and kitchen/laundry room.

We are in a quiet family neighborhood and it is important that guests strictly observe the bylaws of no noise between 10pm and 8am.
This is a private home and not a venue for large parties, family gatherings, bachelor / bachelorette parties, or BBQ's for large gatherings
Registered guests are welcome to use basketball court, swings, pool, gas and weber grills, and the backyard :)

Comfortable Guest House

Well maintained property, with an efficiency style guest house. Location was a short, easy drive to the University of Arkansas.

The guest home stay was perfect! It had all the things needed for a 3 night weekend stay! We brought an air mattress for our 5th family member to sleep on. Our family enjoyed the ammenities outside: the pool was awesome, the patio, firepit, and TV set up made for a perfect setup for an all day stay while we recovered from our long road trip. Inside they had all the thoughtful items needed to be comfortable. The air conditioning was great, water temp for shower was perfect. We did notice the mosquitos and spiders outside. I think all of my family are leaving with at least one bite from us being outside yesterday. My favorite item inside was a fully functioning nintendo 64 with several games all items needed to play games for hours with my kids. We had a great stay!!

Great location!

We had a great time in Prairie Grove. We visited Battlefield Park and shops in downtown Prairie Grove. Attended a car show at the Agri Park on campus - all easily accessible from our cozy cottage. Quiet, comfortable and clean. Communication with owners was excellent.

Arkansas visit

We came up for a weekend in Fayetteville to watch several sporting events, as well as visit the college campus. The guest house was not far from campus at all and we loved it! We had everything we needed while we were there and the scenery was beautiful! We'll definitely stay there again!

Restful pool house

Welcoming and comfortable pool house, just what we needed mid-summer. Added bonuses were the Prairie Grove antique shops, Battlefield and museums. Great choice!

Cute little guest house close to Fayetteville

This place is great. It feels “countryside-ish” but is located close to Fayetteville. We wanted to have a weekend away in Fayetteville, but the Arkansas vs. BYU game was going on so everywhere was booked up. We are so glad we stumbled across this place. It has all the comforts of home you might need, and the owners were communicative and helpful.

Great Place for a weekend getaway.

The property was very nice and we had a wonderful time. I would say it only comfortably sleeps 3 as the use of the air mattress takes up the living room portion of the room. We would definitely stay here again for a weekend getaway for a shopping and things like that in Fayetteville. Prairie Grove is beautiful and only about a 20 minute drive to anything you’d like to do in Fayetteville area.

This was a beautiful property and guest house was very very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We did have sugar ants in the kitchen sink and Bill put soap in it and that seemed to help...We would highly recommend thjs guest house. All the comforts of home... Bill and Carol

Family time

The location for a visit with our family was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed having a pool and used it daily. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our greatest dissatisfaction was with the lack of communication about the check in process and how to locate the entry door. Also, there was no communication about a dog living in the backyard, which is the same yard shared by the rental home. We love dogs, but that is not the point. There was no heads up about the fact there would be a dog hanging out on our patio and at the pool with us all day and every day. it caused a lot of stress because we don’t know the dog and we had our four year-old grandson. There were no instructions on how to operate the television And the remotes did not work. We were unable to use the TVs for the whole five days we were there. I sent a message to owner asking for instructions, but I never received a reply. We are the type who cook meals more than we eat out. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. There were only two spoons and very limited cooking utensils and only one pan. The kitchen dishes and equipment could use a lot of improvement. There was metal framed patio furniture, but no cushions so the furniture was pretty useless. The owners were not at home during our stay so we had to clean the pool daily. This review is not meant to rip on the owners or the property because we did enjoy our time and our visit with family. I just think its important to give an honest review.

Easy access to U of A

This was a great place for us to use as "home base" on Parents' Weekend at the U of A. It's pretty convenient to I-49 which we could jump on and off of when MLK was too crowded (like on game day). We enjoyed our stay and had everything we really needed for the weekend.

Very nice and quiet

Enjoyed our stay in this nice guest house. Hosts were super nice and answered every question quickly. The area is super quiet with lots of trees and land on the property.
