Farm Sweet Farm is a relaxing country retreat for the whole family and is close to Water Works water park, Ray Roberts Lake, downtown Denton(13 minutes), Aubrey, Valley View, and Pilot Point. The property has two separate fully furnished houses; the Farmhouse (sleeps 10) and the Cottage (sleeps 6). It also includes a spacious covered back porch and a huge pavilion with a kitchen. Enjoy inside or outside gatherings, visit the donkeys, watch the sunset, and experience the country. We have the eero WIFI Mesh system as well as 18,000 live channels with PPV, and premium channels like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax etc. Also, 8,400 series, and 60,000 movies and we update all the time. We have all the sports channels, Sunday Ticket, MLB, NBA. Note: Firewood not provided. For safety, we have three Ring spotlight cameras facing out towards the front, back and garage areas as well as a Ring doorbell camera at the front door. No inside cameras. Retreat to Farm Sweet Farm!

Everything about the farmhouse and cottage were wonderful! Everything you could possibly need for comfort and efficiency. Our group was 16 family members, aged 19-68 and everyone loved it! The outdoor area was where we practically lived the whole time because it is just luxurious! We watched all the wildlife moving in the distance and birds and crickets. At night there were a million stars! Mike and Angie were so accommodating and answered emails incredibly timely. Even my grumpiest brother praised it and said he would definitely come there again. We counted it a WIN!

Wonderful House for friends reunion!

The group of 16 of us old friends (and adult kids) in this comfortable and beautifully decorated house. The kitchen was a wonderful place to congregate and cook with new appliances. There was a new washer & dryer, but not enough detergent to wash towels while there. That and the freezing cold Master Bathroom is the only downside. Otherwise we loved the place. Our flights were cancelled because of snow on Thursday, but the Hosts were gracious and let us all check in late the next day. Angie was very pleasant when we spoke and very concerned about us traveling in storm. We are from PA (lots of snow) and handled the ice in the SUV we rented. They also gave us old towels to use to put our shoes when we came in from snow. So thankful for this home away from home and everyone told me they loved the place. Beds were very comfortable too and young adults loved the extra cabin and the recliner couches! I loved the wall art and decor as well. Thanks again! Best wishes.

Perfect for our family over Thanksgiving!

This property was the perfect fit for our group of 16! My family came together to celebrate Thanksgiving, and there was abundant space for us to prep, eat, play and enjoy. We would highly recommend.

Great Space for a Large Family

We really enjoyed our stay here and it was great for the wedding weekend for our extended family. Plenty of space, very clean, and we particularly enjoyed the open space outdoors. Due to all the wedding activities planned for the weekend, we didn’t have much time at the house, but it would have been the perfect gathering spot to visit with family, if we had the time.

PERFECT!!

This is a wonderfully appointed, very clean home and cottage. The owners could not have been nicer to work with and they thought of everything you would need. We were a group of 10 adult family members in town for my son’s wedding in nearby Valley View. Beautiful property - large patio with covered area for gathering, including an outdoor grill, fire pit and more. Lots of indoor space as well as outdoor space. Everything is clearly labeled on all the cabinets and doors, so there’s no questions to be had. The communication from the hosts was always immediate and very helpful. They made our weekend stay perfect; we didn’t have to worry about a thing except our food. And even then, they suggested a local restaurant that delivered a few meals, since I did not want to be cooking for 10 people 2-3 times each day! The house and cottage were extremely clean, very spacious, and well appointed. They thought of everything! Thank you to Mike and Angie for, welcoming us to your farm !

Great for a large family!

My family was so comfortable here and our group ranged from 95 to 2 years old. Beds were comfortable with a great layout of bedrooms. Communication with the hosts was timely and friendly. We felt cared for and had all we needed with clear instructions and communication. The land is beautiful and location worked well for us all!

Perfect for Bride's Family & Bridesmaids

This was the perfect place for our Bride's family and bridesmaids to stay together. Our family stayed in the main house and hosted the meals, the bridesmaids stayed in the cottage. Both the main Farmhouse and the Cottage had everything we needed or could have needed for our stay. We were all completely comfortable! Super clean! Beds were comfortable, bathrooms & showers were nice. Kitchen had plenty of work space and all needed cookware and utensils. I can't think of a thing that was lacking.

Wedding weekend

My sister and I stayed for the wedding of her granddaughter. The property was comfortable and close to the rehearsal dinner as well as wedding venue. I would highly recommend Farm Sweet farm. Large kitchen and large extra cottage just across the back patio, so would be a great spot for several generations visiting the area.

Wedding time!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our multigenerational family to stay for our son’s wedding nearby in Valley View! Babies through “Great Gran” —and it was comfortable for all!!! It was a lovely place with so many special touches!! The property mgrs (owners??) patiently answered all my questions promptly and thoroughly before and during our stay. Watching the donkeys and goats was a fun thing for the littles. This place has so many great spaces both inside and outside. I highly recommend it for a big family gathering!!!!

Family wedding

The house was perfect for my wife, me, four daughters and two boyfriends. The cottage made it very easy. Everything we needed was on site; the Michael and Angie really thought of everything. The kids loved the donkeys, and I loved coffee each morning outside. Michael and Angie were very responsive and helpful with things to do. If we ever end up north of Dallas again, we’d hope to stay here.

Great place for bridal party

The owner was easy to communicate with. The house comfortably slept my daughter and 9 of her bridesmaids. The house was about 25 minutes from their wedding venue so it was a bit of a drive but everyone managed well. I would recommend the house.

Wedding Weekend

We live in the area, but decided to try a VRBO property for the 1st time to accommodate our family that would be arriving from OOT for our daughters wedding. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised even b4 going inside. The home was lovely inside. It had all the amenities that were descibed. The additional use of the cottage was definitely an added bonus. During the weekend there was a shower head that broke & Mike & Angie were wonderful. They came over & fixed it immediately. We were completely happy with everything about the property & highly recommend that if you are looking for a place in the area to host a large family gathering, look no further.

Multi Generational Christmas Holiday 2022

This property was just right for family members from multiple generations who were globally dispersed to meet, relax, communicate, find quiet time and congregate together joyously during the Holy Days. The donkeys were a welcome accent to this taste of Texas Country Living. The well equipped kitchen was large, modern and accommodated multiple cooks while adjoining spaces allowed for others to participate in conversations and activities. The beds were great! The bedrooms were large and welcoming, and the guest cottage provided an alternative for overflow to the main house. This is a place that easily accommodates a large group of multiple ages and genders. Outdoor setting is calming and relaxing! We look forward to our next visit. The hosts are amazing and addressed any concerns we had immediately.

Our awesome experience for a special occasion.

We had an awesome experience while staying at Farm Sweet Farm for the weekend while we were in the area for our daughter’s graduation from chiropractic college! We had 14 other family members that joined us at the property. The main house and the guest house were perfect accommodations for all of us! Both were immaculate and nicely updated with decor and furniture. The outdoor space was absolutely perfect for our group to enjoy the warm weather in December since we all traveled from Wisconsin, that was really appreciated. The house hosts were readily available to answer questions as needed! They were very accommodating for all of our needs. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else who needs a beautiful place to stay. Thanks again to Farm Sweet Farm, Shelly

WONDERFUL!

Wow! We were so impressed with this property. It was so clean and had everything we need it, not to mention how spacious and relaxing it was! The bunk house was such a bonus and allowed us spread out. The master bathroom had the most wonderful shower. The hosts were very helpful and kind. Definitely would love to stay there again.
