Unique Underground Speakeasy With Hot Tub

Escape the city in this unique underground stay. Located just outside the city and a quick drive to Mt. Hood. You are sure to leave relaxed and recharged after being surrounded by nature. Soak in your own private hot tub overlooking a forested ravine. The underground space is climate controlled equipped with AC/heat. Connect with nature while you enjoy the massive covered patio with a bbq and games. Ask the owners to hangout with the friendliest Pygmy goats and take photos to cherish the memory.

The space:
Nestled in a private forest with beautiful views of mature fir trees, maple trees and vibrant sunsets! Enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio or relax in a private hot tub. There is plenty of space to enjoy each other's company inside or outside!

Other things to note:
You will have complete privacy during your stay but please note that the Speakeasy is located below the owners primary residence. They have done an amazing job sound proofing the entire unit but you may occasionally hear foot steps from inside or on the deck if they are enjoying the sunshine or sunset.

This was the perfect spot to unwind with my partner before going back to work the next day. The hot tub was extremely relaxing. There was plenty of parking. The hosts communicated very well and gave us privacy.

This was the best rental experience we’ve had by far. We loved everything about it, the set up, the lighting the decor. We could barely get a sentence out before one of us said, “man this place is so cool” — we hoped to get out of the city for a night and got more than we expected. We absolutely loved the place and the owners were very friendly. I would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back.

Paradise at the Speakeasy

A most enjoyable escape! Our hosts were Fabulous— assisting w a variety of odd questions like which ride share to use and letting us have time to hang w the goats. The hot tub and outdoor showers were great. The space was nice and cool even in the near 100 degree weather. The property is stunning and so relaxing. We LOVED it!

Clean, Quiet, and Quaint!

This cute little hideaway was the perfect place to stay while in the area for our daughter's wedding.The location was very convenient to the wedding venue- the Mt Hood Center. The owners were very friendly and welcoming but gave us plenty of privacy! The covered patio was decorated in a "speakeasy", rustic bar theme. Would've been a perfect place to hang if we had more time. Room decor was rustic with hints of Steampunk- super cute! Accommodations were COMFORTABLE and CLEAN!!!

My granddaughter and I stayed Friday night and her friends of the bridal party came Saturday morning to do their hair and their make up in a really comfortable environment since we couldn’t get into our wedding venue before 2 o’clock, so it was nice to be able to have the room to get their make up and hair done and then it was quiet place for me to stay the evening after the wedding was over

1.5/10Well….#1 issue- I communicated with host I was traveling with 3 adults and 1 child, they should have told us that this place was too small to accommodate us. This place is only comfortable for two. They have in their listing a “double bed” and that it sleeps more than 2. Very inaccurate!!!! The double bed was actually a futon!!! We were very squeezed in and uncomfortable. #2. This trip was for my birthday and they were not willing to put cake mix in the oven for me? There wasn’t even a special message board welcoming us or wishing me a happy birthday. This place was way too expensive for the quality. Very unhappy. Will never stay here again. And #3, the goats weren’t even let loose for us to play with or get photos with? Not sure that should even be included in their listing? (Food was left on bbq-looked like it had been there for a month-icky)
