Holiday Weekend Getaway

My family and I loved this little cottage. Perfect size for 4 adults, and the outdoor space on the deck was great for relaxing when we returned from our planned adventures!

Great location to go to Indiana Beach. First arrived smelled very musty but once got the dehumidifier going helped alot ( had to empty it 7 times on our 2 day stay ) Got back from a long day at the Beach and found ourselves locked out because I locked the inside of the door.not reliezing was suppose to lock the deadbolt. Luckly the neighbor had the door key to get use in. Overall was a nice stay.

Great place to visit when heading to Purdue

It was about 35 minutes of of West Lafayette, but perfect for avoiding the crowds on a football weekend. Nicely stocked kitchen so I could prepare food for a tailgate. And cozy living room for chilling out after the game.

Very cozy/relaxing spot

It was very cozy which we enjoyed. Being right by the water was neat and everyone around seemed pretty friendly. Its just a short drive to indiana beach which was very nice and a walmart is only a few mins away also. The property owner was very prompt whenever i messaged her with any questions

Weekend for Purdue football .

The property was perfect for a place to sleep while visiting son at Purdue. The drive was easy from campus and about 30-35 minutes from campus. The host gave some restaurant options and we chose Anglers Restaurant. We really enjoyed.

The teen kids faces when we walked in priceless!!

Exactly above & beyond af many basic needs could imagine! I wanted a cottage camping with luxuries was just !!! Price was perfect for fixed income vac with kiddos. They are still releasing the great experience with thier parents!!! Took alot of stress as the kids had space for their privacy chill areas. Thanks for making this happen for my family!!!prive

Great home off the beaten path!

We had a great time at this home. First, our communication with Maggie was incredible; she went above and beyond what we've ever experienced by way of host tips and recommendations, and without ever having to ask. The house itself was cute and cozy, and - must importantly - clean. (Can I get an Amen for being able to walk around barefoot or in socks without dirty black feet afterwards?!) It took a few winding roads to find the house but we quickly got used to it. The neighborhood was also super friendly - you don't feel like an outsider getting the "side eye." Great experience!

The reviews on this property are outstanding, so we must have caught it on a down weekend. It had rained quite a bit before the trip, and the inside was very musty; the small dehumidifier wasn't up to the task. The bathroom was not particularly clean, neither shower nor stool. It was also a 45-50 minute drive to the Purdue campus, not 30-35. We had a good weekend - it could be a great spot for a lake weekend, but our experience was just okay.

Little Lakehouse

My friend and I stayed at this location for a chill girl's weekend. The couch was very comfortable for reading and chatting. In warmer weather, the deck would have been a great spot, but we were still happy with the windows that let in plenty of sunlight. There were quite a few stairs, which surprised me, but might have been somewhere in the listing I missed. The only other inconvenience was the height of the table with the bar stools. The stools were too high to comfortably sit at the table. I was able to pull up the coffee table to the couch for meals, but other activities that would have been better at a table, like board games or coloring, were not really comfortable. Overall, I would stay here again for a small get together.

I am a sales professional and life can be pretty busy. I bought Eagle's Nest to create a serene and sweet place to unwind and relax.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Eagle's Nest feels like home. It is tucked away near C&C Beach away from main streets and highways. All of my amenities are thoughtful for guests of all ages. Eagle's Nest offers pots, pans, plates, glassware and silverware. All you need is your groceries and the house has the rest.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This little mid-century cottage is perfect for the weekend or week getaway. The neighborhood is a neighborhood and it is very friendly. We are tucked away a bit from the highway, but I promise you will appreciate that when you settle in.

The deck boasts it's comfortable seating with amazing tree top views and the evening welcomes a fire in the chimenea (please bring your own wood). Or enjoy the sunset on the loungers up on the top deck. Or if you prefer, lounge on the most comfortable sectional couch and turn on the fireplace, pour yourself a glass of wine and just relax. The house has Wi-Fi and You Tube streaming television. Guests can also log in to their streaming apps if they'd like.

There is a gas grill on the deck, please replace the gas if it runs out. If barbeque is not your thing then use the crock pot and make a pot of fall chili or use the air fryer to cook. The kitchen is full with pots and pans of all sizes.

The bedrooms both have linens, pillows and comforters. In the living room you will find a chest filled with soft fleece blankets to snuggle under. The bathroom does have laundry, please bring your own soaps. The house does have fresh towels and a hair dryer. You only need to bring your soaps and shampoo.

In the front bedroom there are board games and Jenga for you to enjoy. There are also crayons and paper to keep the kids busy.

If you like to fish, we have two poles in the front closet. C&C Beach has a pier about two blocks away. You can walk there in less than ten minutes. The pier gives you access to swim in the sand bar. Please bring your own beach towels.

I will share a secret with you, preorder your groceries from Walmart Monticello. You drive right by it as you enter Monticello. You just pull in and they bring the groceries out to you. It saves you time to get to the cottage and unwind.

Don't forget about Indiana Beach, it's 10 minutes away. Lots of fun for all and boats are available to rent by the hour.
