Cozy cabin just for two. The cub is located in within minutes to many amenities. The property is surrounded by trees and small streams in a valley. The cabin is setting on a flat terrain. Very relaxing and peaceful setting. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay in the cub. WELLSTON 🏡 is a small rural town . Cabin Road takes you straight into town . (3 miles).. NO PETS ALLOWED
Where you will find Restaurants🍴🍔🍟🍻 , Grocery Stores & Gas Stations⛽️ . Bowling Alley 🎳& Skating Rink👯. Lake Alma State Park is a 7 min drive ..Swimming🏊Fishing 🎣 & Boating🚣
Most enjoy getting up early Saturday & traveling to the Homestead Country Market / Bakery🍩 ( just across town ) Hocking Hills State Parks is a 30 minute drive for endless hiking👞 in the 6 caves.
I recommend PATIO GRUB & SUBS in Wellston for pizza & subs.🍕
Scotties for a Great Sport bar !!!
Arch & Eddies is a favorite in Jackson for lunch & dinner .🍽️

Regardless of the season, the cozy cabin has all the amenities you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. This was my 4th stay here and I've made 2 more reservations into the future to come back.

Best little slice of heaven

My partner and I had stayed earlier in the year and it was so awesome that we had to come back for longer! So many things to do and see and Ruth truly is an amazing host! Very quick to respond if there’s anything you need!

Amazing cozy cabin surrounded by woods. Everything you need to be comfortable! Greatly enjoyed being able to relax in the hot tub after hiking Hocking Hills. Free firewood also was a nice perk - could cook on the fire without having to hunt down wood.Pay it forward philosophy of the cabin lead to some nice little surprises like my favorite coffee creamer already in the fridge!Staying again in 2 weeks!

Great cabin

The cabin had everything my husband and I needed. It was quiet, close to lots of stores and restaurants, and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Amazing peoperty

This property is a very quiet getaway it was so peaceful we saw deer just about everyday we were there. The host was great she met with us when we arrived. The next day she delviered a bucket with wine and glasses and ice for our anniversary

Best kept secret in Ohio for a getaway

This stay was better than expected and every amenity that you needed was here. Despite my friend having an accident away from the cabin, we had some great time to share old memories and the accommodations made it a perfect trip for us two old soldiers. We're planning a return trip in 2024 for sure to the same location.

No storage, only 1 sink, too many nic nacks sitting around. Needs a good deep cleaning.

When we drove up to the cabin, we were impressed with the outside, all nice and clean. The inside has stuff sitting all around which was in the way of having a place for our things. No closet, or chest of drawers to put our things. Only 1 sink for everything. I was not going to do a review, but when i was told i have 14 days..........here it is. I AM ON VACATION NOW having to deal with this I am 80 yrs old, i don't need this crap. We are in a hotel, no more cabins for us

Relaxing getaway

This cozy cabin was perfect for a long weekend! It was clean and had everything we needed. One strange thing is that there's no sink in the bathroom, so you have to use the kitchen sink for everything. Also, it's about 40 minutes south of Hocking Hills State Park, which is a little farther than we thought it was. But overall, this is a fantastic place!

Long Weekend

Very nice for just the two of us, very well furnished and decorated, Directv, jetted tub. Suggest Arch and Eedys for dinner. Get the shrimp "starter." Cabin was so quiet and peaceful, got plenty of rest from hiking all day on Sat and Sun. Thanks, Ruth!

Weekend getaway

It has been a some trying times as of late and just needed a quiet getaway, do some hiking and just relax, this was a perfect cabin for that.

My cabins are located in a great place. It is surrounded by trees and two small streams. They are located in the country but not too far from town. The surroundings are very relaxing.

We have many amenities close by. We have a bowling alley and skating rink in town. Many privately owned restaurants. There are cute little boutiques near by. There is a movie theatre near by. There are many wildlife areas, lakes, and state parks for boating and hiking.
