The property is furnished very nicely and well equipped. The yard is completely fenced in, so it is ideal for a pet. The host was extremely attentive and accommodating. The neighborhood is situated very close to downtown, River Walk, etc. We would highly recommend the Lamar Villa!

Peaceful, clean wonderful stay

The house was recently redone. It was spotless, well set up and everything we needed. We had a great stay. It was just as presented.

Very enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay. A suggestion; need baking pans and a pizza cutter. Just a small obstacle, we improvised. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Beautiful home with a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was decorated beautifully and the house felt like a home. The location was great! Close to lots of fun restaurants, close to the river walk and Alamodome. The host was great and there were so many thoughtful touches around the home. We look forward to another visit.

Awesome host, awesome property

This was the nicest, cleanest property we've stayed at, and we totally enjoyed being there. There were a few times when we needed to connect with the host for some questions, and he was always totally and easily accessible, and super helpful. The property had been recently remodeled, and it was incredibly nice. It was very clean and really well done. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Home

My family enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Very clean, updated and pictures don't give much justice for this beauty. We didn't have any issues but a suggestion to have baking pans for cooking bacon and biscuits in the oven. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again

Great House, close to everything we needed.

Once the streets are finished (New Braunfels is so torn up it's barely passable) this place will be nearly perfect. As it was, other than the detours to getting there, it was great for us as we come to town to produce video for the San Antonio rodeo and it's about halfway between the AT&T Center and Downtown.

Spacious house

This house was spacious and comfortable. Living area had plenty of room and it had comfy seating for 6. The inside and outside fireplaces were really pretty. Kitchen was large enough to host Thanksgiving lunch on our visit. Beds were comfy with plush sheets too. Yard was perfect for the dog. Neighborhood was close to Pearl area, maybe 5 minute drive. The house has a security system as well but we felt perfectly safe. This house is on my favorites list for San Antonio.

Spacious home stay with extended family

We stayed here for 4 weeks while in the process of moving out of our base home. The house was perfect for our group including grandparents down to kids ranging 8y to 1y. It’s comfortable, spacious, and very centrally located. It was well suited for a stay with children. Older kids loved the bunk bed, and for the toddler a pack-n-play, changing mat, and highchair were provided. The house initially had an infestation of ants. When we discovered we couldn’t eliminate or reduce their presence using only the supplies left in the closet we contacted the VRBO owner. They were extremely responsive and immediately scheduled pest control to come first thing the following day. The pest control service was courteous and handled the infestation. As far as we could tell the ants didn’t return within the remaining time we were at the residence.We had a wonderful stay. The home is lovely and we highly recommended it.

Lamar/Hays Oasis Stay

I booked the Lamar property for my family to watch the solar eclipse in April many months in advance. Two days prior to our arrival at the property I received a call that the property was not available due to damages caused by a previous tenant, that they weren't able to repair in time for our visit. We were offered a different property a block away and while it did not have all the amenities of the Lamar property, it was still absolutely adorable. The team was very welcoming and we so appreciated it, we especially loved the box of local baked goods. The house was very clean and charming and had everything we needed. The furniture was comfy, clean, and modern. The team reached out to us upon our arrival with information on dining and activities in the area and let us know that they were a phone call away if we needed anything. Our family had a wonderful time in San Antonio and at this house and though the neighborhood is old and transitional we felt perfectly safe, although I wouldn't suggest taking an evening stroll. We were able to park inside the gated yard which was extra security. I hope that we are able to visit again at either the Hays or Lamar (or another) property. Thank you so much Marcus, Tomas, and Irene!
