Gorgeous & Serene Property

This house is so beautiful and unique. It has the perfect mix of relaxing & fun energy! There are horses are the property as well that make driving in so special. Terri was very communicative & helpful throughout my stay as well. I would definitely come back here.

Nice Stay at the ranch

Great location, owner was very accessible and attentive. House is somewhat dated but clean. Great location if like to view the horses work.

Relaxing and peaceful

The property was spacious and perfect for our group of 10. The pool was a big hit for all. If you like horses…this is the place for you. There are horses all around but they don’t seem to mind you there.

Family weekend

The property is beautiful and quiet. A great get away weekend, but close enough to golf courses, stores, restaurants, and even the Grapevine Mills Mall. The rooms are large enough to set up a pack-n-play in each if needed, and the game room was a bonus for our teens and adults who stayed up later than our littles. We will be back next time we're in the area.

Great adult getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect house for our trip. The pool was absolutely PERFECT. In fact, outside was our favorite place to be. The patio, hot tub, pool, grill… excellent. Communication with the host was always timely and kind! The horses were so fun to watch and feed carrots and apples. Any ranch staff we encountered was so nice. We would absolutely choose this property to stay at again! Thank you so much for providing such a great property at an affordable price!!

Lovely ranch home

We had a wonderful stay at the ranch house. It was spacious and accommodated our family of eight nicely. The pool and patio space was roomy with a lovely wooden gazebo and a grill, overlooking the working horse ranch. The sunsets were beautiful and made for great photos. An added bonus is that it is close to Southlake with upscale dining and shopping as well as groceries and other shops four minutes from the ranch!

Great Place/Awesome Host

The home and host provided for an exceptional family weekend. Hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner and Terri was fantastic for allowing and coordinating tables/chairs leading to a super successful event. Yes, you are in the middle of the city, but you don’t feel like it. The city amenities were just a literal mile away if you needed anything. Home was clean, spacious and great for entertaining. Pool was clean and refreshing. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Great location in Keller, TX

Beautiful location and property in Keller, TX. Perfect accommodations for 3 couples and 2 single men. We had a great time visiting my Great Uncle, a WWII vet, who lives in the area with his son. Comfortable beds! Loved cooking on the outdoor kitchen sitting and watching the horses running and being trained. It feels like you're staying on a ranch out in the country, but stores are just down the street. Walking and running in the mornings was perfect. Highly recommend!

Living in 1970’s

Easy check in and out. Communication with host was good, But I wish I knew there was a sunken den or living space in the middle of the house. Not so great for elderly or very small children. The automatic lights sensors need improvements. The bathroom and kitchen do not stay on long enough. Leaves you in the dark while in shower. To cook a meal or wash dishes was a challenge. There should be an override switch for these rooms. We did enjoy the outdoors

Our favourite Holiday house ever (and we’ve been to a lot).

The setting at the ranch is unique amongst the horses. We even got a chance to ride. The pool was brilliant. My daughters love diving and spent hours there. The rest of the family loved relaxing in and around the pool area. We had a couple of BBQs in the purpose built area and watched the sunset over the barns with a few beers. The house was spotlessly clean and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. We loved the games room/bar too. The house is slightly old fashioned but this is absolutely the charm and it shouldn’t be any other way. The pictures don’t do it justice. Thanks for a brilliant stay.

Family meeting after Christmas

We had a wonderful time together at the ranch. 2022 had its “opportunities “ for us. One of our families moved to Keller this year, there were two marriages, job changes, eye surgery and Covid So, We opted to celebrate “family” after Christmas with travelers from 4 states. DFW is about 20 minutes away and convenient for those flying. Our family who now lives in Keller is about 10 minutes away so they could visit but have the children at home for the night. The outdoor kitchen was a wonderful place to grill and spend time together. The children could run and play and we all loved watching the horses. The billiard room was well used and there was plenty of places to eat. The storage was great and we loved the open floor plan. There was a lot of privacy at the ranch but it was convenient for shopping for groceries. We ate all our meals at the ranch so we used the kitchen a lot. Terri was a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting her in person to talk about the horses and how the property was managed. We would rent it again.

Absolute Disaster

If you are interested in this property, please beware of a couple of things. The host entered our property multiple times during our stay. While we are unsure if they entered the actual house, they did enter the garage and pool area multiple times while we were not present and also DURING our stay while we were in the pool. When I confronted the homeowner, he said he was looking for an outlet for some welders. I asked him to leave the property as there were multiple family members including children 10ft from him. He refused and went about his business. We took photos and videos of all of the events. There were multiple active wasp nests around the property. When we inquired with the host, they said thank you and proceeded to drop off a non working can of wasp spray the next morning. The outdoor bbq grill has never been cleaned and is overflowing with grease. We attempted to use the grill which proceeded to catch fire multiple times. There are multiple wires hanging from the outdoor patio area. There are large nails sticking out of the wood floors around the inside of the house. The flys around the property are terrible. The hosts were loitering the entire weekend of our stay. There was not one day during our 4 day stay in which we did not see both homeowners multiple times. This is not a relaxing ranch home, instead it is a run down rental which the owners are only in it for the cash. This is supposed to be and looks like a relaxing farm house on the outside, but beware.

Weekend Get away

House was amazing. We had 10 adults there to attend the NASCAR race Sunday. It was the perfect location with a short distance to the track. We will definitely be coming back.

Gilbert Family Christmas Near Grapevine TX

Thanks. The property is great, There were plenty of beds that were actual beds and comfortable. We were 9 total adults and all were comfortable. The area was in the middle of a significant cold spell - single digits at night - so the use of the fireplace was very needed as the heat in the house would not keep up. The great room was great for a large family Christmas. Having the horses there even though they are not able to be ridden was a nice touch. We were locked inside because of the cold but would like to take advantage of the pool and outside kitchen and fire place. Close to Grapevine for the Christmas items. Very close to services like grocery and such. The property manager was VERY responsive and was available for questions and assistance. If we decide to do another family gathering in the Dallas area we would definitely try to use this property again.
