Cute and cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house in Saint Helen. Sit on the front deck and watch the cars go by as your pet runs free in the fully fenced yard. Bring your ATV or ORV and jump on the trails across the street and head to the sand dunes. Enjoy a day at the beach with access to 2 private beaches. Or relax by the bonfire in the backyard. Cute little house with nice fenced in yard. Would have liked access to the garage to protect our RZR from the elements. But it was nice being right across the road from the trails. Well stocked kitchen. Nice shower.My only unpleasant experience was that the heat was not on already before our arrival. The heat was off and the house was only 40 degrees. It took a really long time for the house to warm up.

Amy are hostess with the most Us did a fantastic job. I couldn’t have been more happier. This was my first experience in this type of stay over. I will definitely be using it again especially if Amy is involved.

We weren't allowed to use the back doors to access the back yard , my husband is disabled he can walk a short distance with his walker he can step up or a step down with it. However he could not walk all the way around the house to the back yard to have a bonfire and i could not push him through the grass and sand in his wheelchair. We were very disappointed. The house is on a street with the speed limit of 55 didn't care for that.

I loved everything about it . It was exactly as described, and it was perfect. From location to amenities, we felt so at home and we were sad to have to leave. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking in this area.

St. Helen getaway

We were extremely happy with this VRBO rental! The home was nicely decorated. Appliances were in good order and clean. The supplies were amazing! There was just about everything needed to cook with. The bathroom was spotless, and nicely modern. All the furniture was Very comfortable! Bed in main bedroom was very, very comfortable. We were very grateful for the A.C. In the living room and main bedroom. All the towels and linens seemed brand new, very nice. Although we don’t have pets, it was nice to see the supplies for pet owning renters. But more importantly there was No pet hair to be found anywhere, which was greatly appreciated. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we hope to rent this house next year again! We told everyone at the gathering we attended while in town, and will recommend this house to anyone we know. Great place! Great price!!

Great Place

Everything was as expected - only basically needed somewhere to sleep after wedding in West Branch. Only had minimal problem with front door lock but able to obtain key as instructed so that was nice to have back up!

Little getaway

We enjoyed the house. It was so cozy and comfortable. It was very dog friendly, which our Wilma loved. The local restaurants were nice and the corner store had everything! We enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank you

Wonderful White Christmas

We had a great stay! Amy is great and was there for anything we needed! The place is clean, it has everything you could possibly need while there, the yard is completely fenced in for the dog to run and play! Everything was great! No problems to speak of! The only thing that bothered me was jared food that's been used was left in fridge and half gallon of ice cream, that's not sanitary and would not use the products, but overall everything was great!

Nice place for getaway

Had trouble when checking in the address was not accurate but we got help to get to the right place. It was mostly clean just lots of dog hair and sand. Kitchen was fully equipped & had nice dinning table. Rooms felt a bit cold you can feel a breeze through the windows but was nice having a tv in both rooms and living room. Nice for a getaway coming from the city, nice views and my pets loved the big backyard.

Wonderful fall stay

My pup and I came up to Jeep with some others. Property was as described! Wonderful place to stay and VERY pet friendly from a spare crate to dog treats! My pup loved the fenced yard and the neighbors came over and brought her treats! Hope it snows this year so we can come back

Nice little cottage for our stay

Nice, clean, and convenient location for our activities. Access to ATV trails located right across the street. There are a few restaurants right there in St. Helen or take a short drive to Houghton Lake. The host, Amy, was easy to contact and quickly responded to any questions I had. Thank you for a good place to stay on our long weekend visit.

4 night getaway

The pictures were accurate, some parts of the property could have been taken better care of (we had to stuff paper towel into large gaps in the main bedroom window frame because bugs kept getting in, most kitchen utensils had visible food still on them, the pullout couch in the living room was dirty, etc.), and the private beach was a lot smaller in person. Other than that, we knew what we booked and had no other concerns. We read all the great reviews so maybe these were all caused by the prior tenant.

Great place to stay in St. Helen

We loved our time here! Dog friendly with a great fenced in yard. Super comfortable furniture and bedding. Well stocked kitchen. Perfect for our family of 4. We will be back :-)

Cute and cozy

This is a very cute place. Right outside of town with a very convenient gas station on the corner with groceries. If you are riding the trails are right there and the drive way does accommodate a trailer. Highly recommend.

Great location/space for West Branch sports activities

Our family stayed here for a softball tournament in mid July. It was the perfect space for us and only a 20m drive to West Branch.

Cozy house with well stocked kitchen

Overall this was a wonderful stay & had great communication with the host. Loved the location, fenced in yard for the dogs, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Check in was a bit confusing because the door code did not work and the key box was near a different door, but we figured it out. Only complaint was how hot the house was when we arrived, it was 83 degrees. The window air conditioner in the living room took about 24 hours to cool the main area to the lows 70s so the first night was pretty sticky. I would stay again but not in the summertime.
