Mountain Lodge - Half a Mile to Winter Park Resort

Conveniently located across from the Winter Park Ski Area, Mountain Lodges at Lakota is a perfect choice any time of the year.

As you enter the home you'll notice the warm radiant heated floor and the beautiful view of the Winter Park ski slopes out the living room picture window. Under the window sits an inviting leather sectional with focus on the flat screen TV and gas fireplace. When dining in, prepare all your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with all standard appliances and granite countertops. Gather around the wooden dining table that seats up to eight and share stories of your day over a home-cooked meal. For those alfresco nights, step out onto the deck and use the propane gas grill and outdoor dining table while taking in the mountain views. Enjoy a post-dinner soak or morning coffee in the hot tub with picture perfect views of the ski area.
When it's time to turn in, choose from the upper level Primary King Suite or one of the two bedrooms on the lower level. The upper level Primary Suite is equipped with a King bed, flat screen TV and in suite bathroom with jetted tub, walk-in shower, and dual sinks. The next bedroom is on the lower level and has a King bed with direct hot tub access. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with Twin XL over Queen with a Twin trundle below, perfect for the adults or little ones. Both the second and third bedroom share a hallway accessed full bathroom.

With the perfect location, incredible views, and multitude of amenities, Mountain Lodges at Lakota is a perfect year-round home for vacationing families or couples and friends.
Sleeping Arrangements: Primary King Suite, King bedroom, and Twin XL over Queen bunk bed + Twin trundle in the bunk room. Sleeps up to eight (8) guests.

Location: Lakota Subdivision, directly across from Winter Park Ski Resort. Just 1/2 mile from the base of Winter Park Resort and shops and restaurants in the Winter Park Village. Three miles from shops and dining in downtown Winter Park. The unit is about a 75 yard walk to the free shuttle pick up spot.

Please Note:
There is no trailer parking within the Lakota Subdivision unless inside a closed garage.
Quiet hours begin daily at 8pm. Please respect your neighbors, many of which live nearby year-round.
This home has a steep driveway and/or access roads that require 4WD and snow tires during winter months.

Beautiful Mountain Stay

We loved this place and did not want to leave. It has the most beautiful view of the mountain. The place was cozy, clean, and a convent location to Winter Park. Will was quick to respond to our needs and requests. We would definitely stay here again!

Very spacious and convenient place to stay. Just far enough from WinterPark resort that it was quiet but close enough takes 5 min. to town or resort. Beautiful home with all the amenities needed.

Great ski trip!

We loved the accommodations and view looking right at the mountain. Plus the skiers in our group could catch the shuttle bus just a few steps from the front door. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the private hot tub was a nice feature. This was a perfect place to enjoy Winter Park! We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful views in a great location!

We had a great stay! The property is less than a 5 minute drive from the ski resort, and the views are amazing! The hot tub was a nice amenity as well. We would definitely stay again next year!

Great Location With Best View

We could not have asked for a better vacation condo. Thank you Will for sharing your lovely home! It was very clean, well stocked with what we needed to cook when we wanted and plenty of towels for the hot tub. Beautiful location! Truly it was centrally located to do any activity and found ourselves loving the area.

This cozy lodge was within a few miles of every activity we planned while in Winter Park, the views were, amazing; the host responded quickly to my questions and the house was everything we wanted on vacation! I definitely recommend booking.

Perfect getaway home

This property is walking distance from winterpark resort and is in the bus route. Our family was comfortable in the large bedrooms and the hot tub was amazing after a long day of winter activities. I could not have asked for a better location with the Mountain View’s and the close proximity to all the mountains have to offer. Also, the property manager was quick to respond to our questions and was extremely helpful. I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Winterpark.

Beautiful Mountain View Townhome

We had a wonderful family ski trip, which included 4 adults and 2 children. The townhome was perfect for us, with easy shuttle access to Winter Park Ski Mountain, great mountain views, nice hot tub, comfortable beds, and great communication with our host. I would definitely stay again.

We took the Winter Park Express to the base and caught a shuttle to the property. The owner arranged for an early check in that really helped us. The unit was wonderful and the area is quiet. Will return!

Winter Park visit

The stay was great from start to finish. Easy access to doors and garage. Lights labeled (underrated feature of houses), easy communication, washer/dryer was very helpful and all instructions were helpful. I am glad we found this house for our vacation.

Great place fantastic stay

The house was in great shape and very clean. The view was fantastic. The location was extremely convenient to the town and all of the ski parking. You can walk if desired. The garage was a added bonus for -4 degree weather We will be back next year.

An amazing stay!

We've stayed at many VRBO condos over the years, and this one ends up being on the top of our list! Communication with Will was great and very responsive. The condo is beautiful, exactly as the photos. The view from the living room was amazing and we couldn't have asked for better proximity to the WP village! Thank you!

Location Location Location!!!

This property was the perfect location for our annual spring break trip. We comfortably fit 2 families (4 adults 4 teens). We were hesitant to stay off property, but the views were impeccable as well the bus stop was directly across the road!!! Will was extremely responsive during our stay. Fantastic Property!

This property is exactly as advertised. Beautifully decorated, clean, and in a perfect location. We were 4 adults and 2 children (ages 8 &12) and the sleeping arrangements were great. Everyone loved the private hot tub. Excellent communication from the host. We highly recommend this property.

Great location and amenities

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is so close for an “off the mountain” place. It’s literally across the main road. When you exit Winter Park resort, you just drive across the main road into the neighborhood. There is a free shuttle too with an app to track the bus so you can time it.The place is more spacious than the pictures show and has all do the things you want for a ski house…places to hang jackets, space to dry boots, hot tub, garage so you don’t have to shovel your car out, crock pot, etc.I’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spring Break Ski Trip

Location, view, space, amenities. You name it. Shuttle to the slopes is right across from driveway. Doesn’t get easier than that. Enough room to spread out and also gather as a family. Hot tub after a day on the mountain, grilled and chilled. We mentioned multiple times that we finally found our “Go to” place to stay here at Winter Park. Thanks for everything from the Harts.

For my family this property is very walkable to the village, that's how we like to get to the village and back. Ski in / ski out in Winter Park is very rare, the walkability was the appeal for my family when we purchased this property. For all others the bus stop could not be any closer (right across the street). Location, location, location as they say.
