Incredible

The Spartan had everything we could have needed for our short trip. The property is truly beautiful. The campers are nestled into trees and truly give you that “ camping” feel. There was the perfect amount of room for my family of 4. The property is something out of a fairytale. The kids loved the animals. The horses were my daughter’s favorite. One even let her sit and brush him for almost an hour. She wanted to get the “ stickers” out of his hair. There is also a great area for the kids to play with a basketball court and volley back net. Truly there is so much. The river and the town of Glen Rose is within walking distance. Everyone in town is so sweet. We enjoyed lots of local restaurants as well as shopping. We love it there.

EXCEPTIONAL

This place has it all...river access ...farm animals and its close to downtown in a great neighborhood. Highly recommend especially if you have kiddos! Host is top notch!! A PLUS

Great place

The property was amazing. The Spartan was clean and comfortable and had plenty of games, books, and movies to keep us entertained if the weather was bad. Being able to walk over to Big Rocks Park was great. I must have seen 20 deer in addition to all the animals the owners have on the property. Definitely a great place for families with younger kids.

Exceeded expectations

Staying in a camper, my expectations were low but the camper was clean, cute and perfect for a girls getaway. The whole property was well maintained. The property manager expediently communicated effectively.

Idyllic and Adventurous

We stayed in the Spartan Camper. It was the perfect size for our family of four because as soon as you step out of the camper, there is a spacious meadow. The horses and donkey were grazing and the farm animals were excited to see us. Close quarters made it fun to get creative while connecting with each other off screens. We were about ten minutes away from Dinosaur Valley State Park and 2 minutes from Big Rocks park so we were able to get in the river multiple times and make it back to the Inn to shower and get cleaned up for dinner! We will definitely do it again.

Hidden Gem!

Our stay was truly amazing. Our visit to the area was to see Dinosaur Valley State Park. We could hardly get our kids to leave this property. They loved exploring in the fields and woods. They loved all the farm animals. They loved the tree house, kid size library and art studio. We stayed in the Spartan and the Sante Fe Railcar. Wendy was our host and she was the best !!! We will be back !!!

Weekend Getaway

The Spartan was a great camper and was just what I was looking for. Perfect for 1 adult and 4-kids, they loved the bunk beds and the futon was a good place to crash after a long day in Glen Rose. Very clean and the shower and bathroom exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend!!

Cute with a few inconveniences...

The only few inconveniences for us that we didn't expect was, no Wi-Fi, it was hard to get phone reception. TV. did not have any channels, just connected to a DvD, (we enjoyed a movie night watching BABE ), not so bad. Overall our stay was comfortable, it was cute and nicely decorated. Our Host Wendy was amazing in responding promptly and made our stay easy.
