Location, location, location. On the bus route, this stylish home is 2 mi from LSU in the charming University Gardens neighborhood. Lots of space, in this 4 bed/ 3 bath that offers at least a 50” TV in every room and queen/king sized beds, perfect for large families. In walking distance to some of BR’s favorite eateries, there is a great meal just steps away. Right off St. Patty's and Spanish town parades, this house will give guests a taste of what makes Baton Rouge amazing!

Shops and restaurants very close by but street is noisy. House was very clean, all amenities and everything needed was there. Would stay there again.

Perfect location

Everything about this property was great. The location is an easy drive to Tiger Stadium, but you are also very centrally located in the city to be able to hop on the interstate and get anywhere in town. There are plenty of options for food and groceries in the immediate area, and this is a very safe neighborhood. Communication with the host was excellent. We had a few small issues that were quickly resolved with her prompt responses. We would definitely stay again.

PROPERTY LISTED INCORRECTLY

While we did enjoy our stay at this property, this property is listed completely incorrect. It is described as having 6 beds - two rooms with a king and queen and two rooms with a queen bed and this is not correct. The house has four total beds - one king and three queens. When we arrived we were shocked. This completely changed up our stay and did not accommodate our party as we needed. When I recached out to the host she was response but could not do anything to help and didn't seem to really care about this problem and managed to blame it on VRBO for her own listing being listed wrong. We had to spend money on blowup mattresses so we could fit the kids.

Fantastic house in a great location

We needed a place close to LSU campus for a mother/daughter group trip. The sheets were high quality and the mattresses were great. The house is older but has been remodeled and the decor is lovely. Our hostess was super responsive and even helped us out with restaurant recommendations. Great choice for anyone!

Great Property close to LSU and the Interstate

The house was amazing! Tastefully decorated and comfortable. We were in town for a family wedding and picked this property due to its location in relation to the church, reception facility and ease of access to the highway. I was a little concerned with the location being on a very busy street, however, you could barely hear the traffic when inside the house. The master suite upstairs was huge and it ended up being command central for getting the mother and grandmother of the bride ready for the wedding. We had some issues with accessing the property using the keycode provided but the owner was very responsive and added the other guests to the phone app so that we were all able to come and go as needed. I would definitely consider returning to this property again.

Well Beyond Expectations

The house is much larger than it appears from the outside. There were 8 of us with my wife and I taking the upstairs master suite and two adult young ladies per bedroom downstairs. Plenty of room! You will not believe the upstairs King Suite. We did not cook once as there are plenty of options within walking distance. The kitchen was reasonably stocked but we just chose to take advantage of local offerings. We were there to support our Vols versus LSU in a baseball series and getting to and from the games was a snap. Also, the ample parking at the house allowed us to park two in the back while leaving room for two in the front. We would return to this property in a heartbeat!!!

Cooks castle

The kitchen was stocked with great cookware, appliances,and dishes. The house was decorated to create a restful environment. The layout of the rooms was accommodating. It was close to major interstate to get to New Orleans quickly. We had family near to LSU so it was very convenient.
