The host was communicative prior to booking and responsive to our initial questions, which helped us determine the home would meet our needs. We had discussed the possibility of early check-in if cleaning was completed ahead of schedule.We arrived around 3:30 p.m., understanding early access might not be possible, and reached out to the host. She responded quickly and stated the cleaners were not finished and would let us know when we could enter. Although no one appeared to be inside, we waited. I followed up again around 3:55 p.m. but did not receive a response until after 4:00 p.m., at which point we entered at the scheduled check-in time. After a 7.5-hour drive, this was slightly frustrating but understandable.The home itself was clean, very attractive, and nicely updated. While unloading, we noticed the barstools and kitchen chairs were loose and unsafe to sit on. The host said someone would come Saturday, but the repairs were completed while we were away and without prior confirmation.We also asked about towels, as the home provides one towel per guest for the entire stay. This did not meet our needs, and we were advised to wash them if needed.Suggestions for future guest comfort would include providing one towel and washcloth per guest per day, adding hangers in the closets, and including suitcase racks.Overall, the home is beautiful and well maintained, with a few communication and amenity improvements that could enhance the guest experience.

Great place to stay!

The home is exactly like the pictures. Beautiful, clean and quiet area. The host explained everything upfront and was always available to answer questions. We will stay here again!

This is our second stay at this house and it does not disappoint! Batteries went out in key code so we were locked out. We messages the owner and she was very quick to respond with an alternate entry into the home. She quickly Door-dashed us some batteries. Very clean

Clean and inviting stay

The property was well Maintained, very comfortable and pictures are good representation of the property. Property manager was easy to contact and we had a great Thanksgiving, visiting larger extended family close by. We will stay again next year at the same time!

Gainesville House

Beautiful home, very nice upgrades to the house. Sure beats a hotel room and was so nice to have a washer and dryer for laundry. Highly recommend this property.

Felt like home

Very nice stay! Great communication from Maria and made us feel welcome for our family weekend. Nicely remodeled inside, with a great little porch out front for our morning coffee together. We already have this house booked for two more trips to Gainesville.

Grateful Getaway!

Family & friends trip to G’ville for the long holiday weekend felt like home. This was our third stay at this property this year and each time was just as nice as the last. Maria was responsive & easy to communicate with. The home was very clean and location was convenient to everywhere we needed to go. We will be back next year!

Short stay for volleyball tournament

The place was very cute and updated. It had everything needed such as decent beds with plenty of pillows and blankets, and extra towel's. The kitchen was equipped with everything like nice appliances, plenty of utensils, pots and pans, tea, coffee, and creamer. The place could use someone to clean the edges throughout and the floors were a bit sticky. The host was great about getting all the information to us. Overall, a very cozy place for our family of six while we were in town for a volleyball tournament.

Nice but smells of mildew/mold

This property was as advertised, but upon arrival there was a strong odor of mold/mildew. The humidity reading on the fancy thermostat said it was 70% humid inside (that's high). The AC unit in the garage looked very dirty and had black stuff around the ductwork (don't know if it was mold). The AC filter was very dirty (we changed to a new one we found in the garage). The humidity issues definitely needs to be resolved.

The home provides guests a relaxing living area to kick back and watch the smart TV! Log into your own subscriptions, or watch Youtube TV which is provided to guests. The fully stocked kitchen is a great place to whip up a meal as we are stocked for all kinds of cooking. We offer a large dining area and an open concept so the chefs of the family can still be a part of the living room gathering. Jump on into any one of the three bedrooms to get a good nights rest. We offer a variety of bed sizes from King to twin! The master bath has extra privacy as it is attached to the room, and the hall bath both have full sized shower/tub to make sure the whole family has what they need. Once the sun starts to set, head out to the back yard and catch yourself some amazingly beautiful Florida sunsets to complete your evening!
