The House is nestled among the vineyards in the rolling hills of Paso Robles wine country. It is situated on a hill above Lone Madrone winery and overlooks our vineyards. There are spectacular views from every window. World class wineries within minutes of the property, only a 10 minute drive to downtown Paso Robles and 30 minutes to the beach. Come and stay at our home and make new memories - from our family to yours..

Visit our winery, just a 2 minute walk down the driveway. Here you can relax on the patio and sample the wines that we have to offer.

Perfect Stay and Awesome location

My family came in to stay for graduation and I needed something close by but big enough for all of them!Pool table and extras were perfect for the additional hang when they were there.Staff and manger was amazing to work with and great communication.

Gorgeous property

The property was beautiful! Amazing views, well stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms, very clean, and plenty of space. Not walkable, but not an issue for us. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would love to return.

Our stay surpassed our expectations. Mary was very hospitable and kind. The location is perfect for wine tasting, right in the middle of many wineries. Will definitely be back!

Serene, beautiful place!

Had a great time with my family, beautiful location, beautiful property. The only negative thing I could say is that the well water to the property had a very funky smell to it in the master bath other than that everything else was perfect.

Perfect Paso Robles get away

This house was just what we were looking for: a family centric layout with enough room for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) and a set of grandparents. Extremely responsive host and the treat of the winery just a walk down the hill was the perfect extra touch.

Lovely home in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful time at the Lone Madrone house. It was very comfortable and well-appointed (except for ice). The location was excellent and the host was easy to communicate with.

Peaceful and relaxing

Amazing home and property! If you are looking to relax with your family or friends, this is the spot for you! We enjoyed walking down to the tasting room daily. Property manager was super amazing and helpful! The front patio was my favorite and beautiful view!

Beautiful Wine Country Retreat

This property and the property manager are spectacular. The views from this home are marvelous and the house is very spacious and comfortable. The communication with the property manager was exceptional. I would come back again!

Lone Madrone's Beautiful/Convenient Guest House

The guest house is on a hill overlooking vineyards. Nice outdoor space with comfortable furniture and beautiful views. Two large living spaces, nice size kitchen and a pool table. Great for a family of 5-7 people. Very close to dozens of wineries. The manager was very nice and helpful during our stay.

Perfect Retreat

Lone Madrone hosted us for a work Strategic Planning Retreat. It was a beautiful venue and the family room was very comfortable for our Leadership team to gather. We would highly recommend it to others. We appreciated their flexibility with the reservation (not a standard overnight trip) and their timely communication.

Great weekend getaway!

So happy to have discovered this rental for our annual June trip with our closest friends. We are four couples and the house was plenty spacious for all of us. Beautiful space inside and out for extended visiting, fully equipped kitchen and bbq, and comfortable beds = happy crew. We really enjoyed being able to walk down to the tasting room to enjoy the wine and delicious food, too! Mary was delightful and super responsive. We hope to be back!

Amazing stay

We booked Lone Madrone's guest house for a weekend bachelorette getaway. The home is beautiful. It has a beautiful front porch with great views and a nice back yard. It is centrally localized to other great wineries. Mary was responsive to all our questions and great source of information. We were impressed and will be returning as well as recommending Lone Madrone guest house to friends and relatives!

Great Place to Stay

Great for the family with several amenities. Outside-BBQ, corn hole, bocce ball, fire pit and includes outdoor seating at 3 places around the house. Indoors-large kitchen with open concept to dining and living room. Game room with pool table and fireplace. Suggestion: Needs better communication regarding check out process.

Phenomenal Home!

We came down to see a concert at a nearby winery and found this gem! The house was perfectly outfitted. Gorgeous open kitchen and living room, warm and inviting bedrooms, fire pit overlooking the vineyards, pool table, bocce balls…. I could go on and on. This home was spotless and the communication with the host was exceptional. We cannot wait to go back!! Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable!

Little Piece of Italy in CA!

Absolutely stunning property, surrounded by vineyards... The pictures don't even do it justice, if you can believe that! Our friends who just vacationed in Italy even joked no need for the 18 hour flight, this place fits the bill, lol!! Super clean, great communication, and plenty of room for me and my 6 guests. Definitely recommended going down the street for wine tasting, everyone was super friendly and the wines were delicious there too! Can't wait for our next trip back!! If you're on the fence, just go for it, you won't regret it!

Great house for multiple people

Gathered a group of friends for a Paso trip. This house had ample space, areas to hang out, parking. It was also a good spot to start and end the day if you are tasting on the West side. Mary was communicative, professional, service oriented. She made everything easy. We found the property clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property was a bit more dated than we expected from the photos, but that didn’t diminish our stay at all. We had fun hanging out by the fire, playing pool, and winding down from our days out. We had no issue with hot water, even with 5 adults. It would have been wonderful (if the weather had been warmer) to be able to sit outside and enjoy the views and outdoor spaces, as there were lovely spots both in front and in the back yard. Overall, we had a great visit and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Perfect house with friends

We had a beautiful weekend at the house. Lazy mornings reading, doing yoga on the patio with views of the vineyards, cooking breakfast and catching up were perfectly paired with afternoon tastings. Lone Madrone made us feel so welcome and the three couples comfortably fit into this beautiful home! We hope to return!
