The place was comfortable. It had lots of windows and good lighting. The beds were comfortable. We could adjust the heat to our needs. The TV had all the apps for free, for movies and such. We were 4 old ladies, so we weren't into any of the games that were offered, but kids would be entertained. Just a heads up...it looks like it is all one level, and it is. , but it does have steps down to get in the door, and a few steps inside to move around. We had a walker to manage, but we did ok.

We spent our annual family holiday gathering at the Guest House and everyone, from grandparents to the grandchildren LOVED it! Everything is well-maintained, and there were so many things to do...ping pong, video games, darts etc. Our group of eleven fit perfectly into the four bedrooms. We filled the space with love and laughter from our arrival until our departure. Thanks for making our family gathering so special!

Chris was awesome to work with. We had a large hunting party stay at the house and he was so accommodating for us to help us hang the deer so we could begin processing them. House was clean with comfy beds and the softest towels! Games were fun too!

Nice play area outside. The inside space was laid out well to accommodate small child energy, and nothing really breakable so that was good. The adults enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The dart board wasn't really working (kept shorting out or something) so that was disappointing. Otherwise the rooms were nice, and there was lots of space for 6 adults and 3 small kids, although the kitchen was a little tight.

Perfect house for our large group! Comfy beds, fun game room, beautiful yard with lots of seating and activities. Hosts were friendly and prompt with communication. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area again.

Quiet Country Get Away

We rented this for close to home, spring break, mini vacation. The property is clean and well taken care of. The owners are friendly, checked in with us, but not overbearing. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the many entertainment options that the home had to offer. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely consider returning!

Cozy Country Comforts

All the expected comforts of a country home are found here: rolling hills, peace/quiet, and comfortable furniture (sofas and beds). Did I mention clean? It is always great to walk into a clean home and this property is clean. We would for sure book this property again.

Great Girls Nite

It was a beautiful farm-ette. The Guest House had plenty of light, even though the walls were dark. The beds were very comfortable and the linens nice. The host/hostess were very responsive.

Family Reunion

Had another great stay in Independence! This is our 2nd time staying in this quiet farm property. It is great for our extended family when we come from Ohio to visit family in the area. We love having room to spread out and spend time together. The hosts are so welcoming and easy to work with.

Great Stay

Loved this rental. We really appreciated the games and fun living space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. It was nice to have several rooms/bed combinations to accommodate people traveling with a partner, single, etc. The grounds are beautiful and the house was very clean.

Awesome stay

The home has everything necessary for a great stay. The beds were comfortable, and we greatly enjoyed playing the ping pong table, foosball and video games. They even supplied us with a few treats; small candy bars, bags of chips and a frozen pizza. Communication with the owner was great. Next time we travel in that area we will try to stay here again!

Rural Splendor

Great family retreat space

We highly recommend this guest house! We stayed here for a family wedding in the area. The site was perfect for our extended family. The living area was spacious with multiple couches, large screen TV, ping pong, foosball and plenty of games. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked, and the beds comfortable. The owners were highly responsive and communication was excellent. We would definitely recommend this space for a family event, as its located on a beautiful property.

Family reunion

Had a wonderful visit to Wisconsin for a family reunion. We booked because we were unsure how many family members would join us, and it was about the same price as the hotel where we usually stay. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful with restaurant recommendations. We tried many new places and all were very good!

In town for a funeral

Had an excellent stay, this property worked out so well for the family, it was big enough that we were able to gather together to write out thank you's and to celebrate the life of our mother/ mother-in-law/grandmother/great grandmother. The host was very accomodating and the property is beautiful. We plan to make this an "every summer" event to get together as an extended family.
