Trip Cottage

Nice cottage, clean, and friendly neighbors. Great location for day trips to Big Springs, Rocky Falls, Johnson Shut-Ins and Alley Springs and Mill. If you are looking for a vacation in Van Buren check this cottage out! Super friendly owners!

Yearly family vacation

The house was very clean and nice.. perfect for the 8 of us. We had a great weekend on the the river we always bring our boat . The grandkids had lots of fun… we know all the spots since my husband grew up there and we have been coming for 38 years it’s just tradition and we love choosing different places to stay.. we will definitely consider staying here again. It met all our needs Thank you for sharing your home..

This house was very comfortable. The host has provided everything you could need. Pleasantly surprised to find condiments and spices in the kitchen as well as ice packs in the freezer. Beach towels for the river were also provided which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable with access to extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. Very clean house close to the options for playing in the river or floating and canoeing. Will definitely stay here again.

Current River float trip

Nice little place for a weekend getaway, close to downtown and floating. Very clean, plenty of room for our group of 8. Only thing I would add is a firepit outside. : )

Float trip weekend

Clean and Comfy

The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We needed a place to crash the weekend of the Solar Eclipse - and wanted to stay away from hotels and bigger cities. It worked perfectly for what we needed.

Altman Reunion

We were in Van Buren for our annual reunion. The house was perfect with the number of bedrooms required. The beds were amazing. Everyone slept well after a day on the river and time with family. The fully stocked kitchen made it possible to fix meals and prepare food for the reunion.

The Besties Float Trip

Our friend group came to float the river. We found the perfect little house close to all things that had quite a bit of classic charm. It was super clean, with tons of space. Comfy beds were the icing on the cake when coming back from a great float! Thanks again for the great weekend!

LK's 5th birthday celebration

It was great. We were able to walk down to the river so the little ones could step in it and throw a few rocks. We ate at the Mexican restaurant and my granddaughter got to wear the sombrero so she loved that. The kids loved just hanging out at the house playing with her birthday gifts since there was plenty of room. We always have the girls picture made on the Dino at Sinclair.

Van Buren Stay

The property was very clean and had almost everything our guests needed. Would have enjoyed a few more lamps for softer lighting. Only bright overheads are available in most spaces. The beds were comfortable, and the water was HOT! Did the trick for our crew. We would stay here again.

Family Reunion Rental
