The space
This beautiful property is just across the street from the water. Kayaks are available and guests can inquire with Atwood Marina about renting a boat. Flat screen TV's in living room, bedroom #1, #2 and bedroom #3. Enjoy a bonfire after a day on the water; bring your own wood. 2 kids bikes available in the shed out back.

You can use our 4-seater golf cart during your stay. (May-Oct. 15)

So glad we made the choice to stay here. Location was great. Amenities were nice. Kayak, golf cart. Access to lake. Great communication with host. Answered all my questions. And we had a great time!

Everything about the house itself was amazing only issue was the swimming situation. Walking distance is not an option for swimming. The private beach is restricted to renters so the only option is to drive 10 mins. Just felt a little mislead

Our 2nd time here!

Great weekend! We spent the day on the lake and then grilled steaks and made s’mores over a fire. Excellent family getaway! This house is clean, decorated nicely, good sized and in a good location. 👍👍👍 communication with owners is stellar. There was a golf cart to use, we took a little drive on it to a private beach close by.

Great place as adversited

Nice clean house with great location. You can see the lake but does not sit on the lake. Approx 3 min walk to the lake. Alex was great to deal with.

Great lake house with lots of space!

Very nice property. Nicely decorated and lot of space to stretch out. Loved the big living room/kitchen to all hang out in but enough room to separate. Some of the kitchen could be a bit cleaner, but there were plenty of upgrades that far outweigh that. Easy communication and checkin process. We really enjoyed our stay!

Lakehouse get away

Older house nicely updated. Beds sheets and blankets pillows all brand new. Everything was clean comfortable and modern the golf cart was nice to explore the various bays. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The landlord was exceptional when I had questions about tv renote and hvac.

Wonderful Place for a Family Get Together

We rented this house for a family get together. It was one of two that we rented and by far the best house. It surpassed our expectations. The kitchen/living area was open and large enough to accommodate us. The outdoor decks were great to hang out on. The rooms all were comfortable. The golf cart was handy. We could take it to a private beach down the road. The grill worked and we enjoyed hanging out front around the fire pit at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Volleyball Tournament

We had a travel JO volleyball tournament in Sherrodsville this property was 10 min away. Super convenient to go to Eastern Ohio Sports Complex! We stayed in early April and they did not have the golf cart out of winter storage yet. But lots of pillows in the upstairs room at the top of the steps.Lots of towels and blankets stored upstairs also! Bring K-cups they had a keurig but they also provided coffee and creamer! Very accommodating. It was not right on the lake but you could see the lake from the porch and balcony. A short walk to the lake and docks to see the lake. Too cold to kayak and get in for us. Did see a community park at the end of the road but it was raining for us however that would be amazing for next time! Definitely going back when we get the chance!

A+ Family Vacation! 😁❤️

This was a grandma-sponsored vacation for her kids & grandkids. We all live within 20 minutes of Atwood Lake. Rather than travel somewhere distant and struggle to spend quality time in restaurants and hotel rooms, we opted to stay local and find somewhere that was large enough to let us spend the weekend as if we were in our own home. This house was perfect for our family! 6 adults, 3 kids & 2 dogs had a lovely time together, made even better by finding a home big enough to hold us all. Nice, clean place in a quiet little neighborhood by the lake. We didn’t have a chance to visit the private beach, but we did use the golf cart to take the kids down to the nearby park a few times. We spent a day on the lake; we rented a pontoon for the day from the West Marina. It is on the opposite side of the lake, but easy to get to within 10 minutes. There was a nice gas grill for our steak night and a fire circle in the front yard for making s’mores. We were thankful for the extra folding camping chairs for sitting around the fire, as 8 out of 9 people forgot to bring one. There were thoughtful backup supplies for commonly used items & we were pleasantly surprised by the games & toys available to keep the little ones amused. The bunk room for the kids was a definite plus! I communicated with the owner a few times before the trip, just with some normal questions & he was very responsive with replying. A+ weekend, we will definitely be back next year!
