This vacation rental is located on the Delventhal farm, in a quiet spot on the outskirts of the village of Schafwinkel. The vacation rental is situated on the side of an old two-post barn and was completed in 2019. It has a separate entrance. There is also a free parking space right next to the vacation rental, and you can store your bicycles in our barn.
The vacation rental is a cozy “gem” (40 sqm) with plenty of windows, a sunroom, and everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing vacation. Enjoy a healthy indoor environment thanks to the use of eco-friendly building materials and solid wood furniture. There is free Wi-Fi and an optional Ethernet cable. The flat-screen TV features Smart TV.
The apartment is suitable for 2–3 people. For the third person, there is a sleeper sofa with a sleeping area of 1.50 x 2.00 m in the living room.
The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and biking. You can also enjoy the peace and quiet and the sound of birdsong right outside your apartment—garden furniture and a grill are provided for your use.
The herb garden is visible from the vacation rental—it’s right across the way and can be visited at any time... for example, to pick fresh herbs for your meals or to relax at one of the many beautiful, idyllic spots there, have a picnic, or simply enjoy the silence, the wide-open sky, and the colors, shapes, and scents of the plants...
The Delventhal farmstead, in particular, is a place that people are drawn to time and again... and where they feel right at home! It has been this way since 1903—and for four generations.
Over 100 years ago, the oak trees on the farm and the linden trees lining the farm entrance were planted.
