Visiting our Daughter

The property is in excellent condition! We love the open concept configuration which allowed all of us to visit even while making meals. All of the bedrooms and their closets are very large making it easy to dress and navigate the rooms without tripping over suitcases. We hope to return in the fall for our next visit!

Excellent

This house was absolutely beautiful! Very roomy for a big number of guests, was about 16 min from Walmart, so not a bad drive to town. The country setting was nice and peaceful. The large game room was also very nice touch, we enjoyed it. Had all the amenities we needed. If we are ever up that way again will definitely stay again.

Spacious, well appointed, comfortable house with access to main attractions and a great garage activity center. The few questions we had during our stay were attended to immediately by our host. Thank you Kyle, for an amazing stay.

Peace and happiness

The place was like a home away from home. My family and I had amazing time staying in Kansas. The house was comfortable and cozy. The mancave and the backyard space was big and beautiful. Can't wait to come back.

Kansas Getaway

Ideal place for family get together. plenty of space for the little ones to play. The place is has modern fixtures and nice big TV for NCAA games. Not sure of age , must be new!

Perfect getaway

This house was perfect and with traveling with 2 dogs who are used to country life and love being outside this house was so quiet, peaceful and perfect for the dogs as well. We loved how close it was to the middle of fort Scott so wasn’t too far to get food or groceries delivered. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with lots of space!

Great home and host

This was our 3rd stay at this home and it keeps getting better year after year. All of the rooms have comfortable beds and the kitchen and living room are perfect for entertaining. The Man Cave is such an added bonus as well. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are several great restaurants minutes away and we especially like Spanky’s Chicken Shak just 10minutes away in Bronson.

Plenty of space to spread out

We travelled from Idaho to celebrate an event with our daughter who is a religious sister at a local convent. Our large family met at this facility to get together for meals, and we could let everyone spread out and do their own things. The young people played games in the man-cave, the adults sat around under a big tree and solved the world's problems, and the little ones ran around in the large grassy area, far from any road. We really enjoyed our stay, and Kyle's facility was a great fit for us.

Country getaway

This home was very comfortable & spacious in a beautiful sprawling country scene. There was tons to do with our big family group & the bonus "man cave" game room was a huge hit with the kids (&adults)!!! The kitchen was well stocked with just about everything we needed to cook. It was nice to have a laundry room & lots of extra towels, blankets, pillows & bedding. The beds were comfortable & the bedroom setups were great for our family. The house was a nice location being only 10mins from town. We would stay again👍 lots of extra towels, blanketpillow&bedding.

Comfortable, fabulous.

We're a group of archeologists with one minor child who stayed here while we staffed KATP public archeology field school in Bourbon County. This home was comfortable for all of us after long hot days conducting scientific research and teaching the public archeo excavation techniques. Thank yous to Kyle and Jodi for graciously accommodating our ever-changing needs, including a Fedex delivery of unexpected, but needed, archeo equipment.

Kansas Rocks Jeep fun

We loved our stay at the Bourbon Co 9 house. Peaceful country setting and only a 15 minute drive to Fort Scott. This house has everything you need from a well stocked kitchen to the game room. We were in this area for a Jeep trip. Kansas Rocks OHV park is only 15 minutes away and we had a blast. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back.

Great stay!

Stayed for a quick, weekend trip for my dad’s birthday and we had the most relaxing weekend! The house had everything needed to cook meals, entertain, sleep comfortably, and everything in between. The man cave was so much fun to hang out in. Had a question during our stay and the owner answered immediately and was so helpful! 10/10 recommend. My dad just got some hunting land nearby and he is already talking about his next stay there :)
