Best ever

Our family holds a reunion every 3 years and we have stayed in at least 10 spots across the US; the group decided that Otter Creek was by far the nicest place we have ever stayed in. Absolutely no complaints and the seclusion and amenities were outstanding. We always enjoy making the main meal and eating as a group all together and the large table accommodated all of us while the kitchen was huge and easy to work in . Thank you so much!!

Amazing Large Group House in the Adirondacks

The House is perfect for big groups. It has the most well equipped kitchen - with multiple coffee pots, plenty of dishes, cookware, even two crock pots. There are numerous bedrooms and bathrooms - we had 18 people and each couple had their own private space. We used the kayaks and canoes on the beautiful lake - even in the end of October. And took a walk on the trails. It is quiet and peaceful. There is enough space to have dinners together and enough space if people want to separate to read, watch tv, sit by the fire. We have rented many large houses in the US and Europe and this is one of the best. Highly recommend to all!

Great property and experience

I hosted a business meeting/retreat at the Lodge for 3 nights with 11 guests. The property has everything you need. We hosted our meetings around the large table and in the bar area. Enjoyed the lake and beach and hiked the beautiful surroundings. Played basketball, table tennis. And we never saw another person. Communication with hosts was straight forward with kick reply times. Highly recommend!

Awesome stay for a celebration!

We rented this space to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for the full house indoors and great space outside with the fireplace, porches and small beach with kayaks and canoes. The kitchen was an absolute dream and we loved the bar area as well. Hoping to figure out when we can go again! Highly recommended.

Beautiful! Perfect for a friends trip!

We have a friends Christmas get-away every year and with our growing group, this home was perfect for us. We had 20 people and it still felt spacious plus everyone had their own room and bathroom. That was very important to us! We could also all sit around the large table or gather around the fireplace comfortably. The caretaker was very nice and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend the property!

Autumn Family Reunion

We had a great experience at Otter Creek Lodge. Our extended family gathers together every five years at different locations, and we all agreed, this was the best rental house ever! There was ample room for everyone, many different sitting areas, and well-stocked, top-notch kitchen (love the giant whiteboard). Plenty of activities for all ages; billiards, ping-pong, basketball, volleyball, Kan Jam, hiking. We finished every day around the fire pit and watched glorious sunsets! Brian, the caretaker, did a great job staying in contact with us and helping with any needs. Thank Jim and crew for wonderful accommodations for our family reunion! We look forward to returning.

Amazing property

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge! The lodge is very remote and only 1 out of 3 homes on this private pond. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed to unwind and relax, even with our large group this place had more than enough room to spread out. The view from the deck is amazing overlooking the pond. We really enjoyed the beach area, swimming, fishing, boating and relaxing in the adirondack chairs. We played some good games of volleyball on the nice sand court. Had some really nice camp fires and did some hiking. Everyone from the older adults to the real young kids had a great time.

Perfect place for friends and family get together!!

We had a party of 20+ people and the house is very spacious having most bedrooms are bath attached, large kitchen and lots of game stuff. Both kids and adults loved the place. There is a nice pond close to the house for any water fun activities. Communication with Property manager was very good. The care taker John was helping with every questions we had. . I would recommend this pace for large reunion in a nice and calm environment in the middle of the woods.

Great weekend retreat at The Lodge

This property is absolutely stunning. All the comforts of a hotel in the middle of the Adirondack’s pristine beauty. This house has everything you need to prepare and cook great meals for a large amount of family and people. Large gathering spaces, both indoor and out make it a great place to relax and hang out with family and friends. You will never run out of things to do with a large private pond with comped and kayaks, a volleyball court, basketball hoop and ample space to play other outdoor games. There are lots of hiking opportunities within walking distance. A great find!

Everything about this place is fantastic. The private lake with blue waters., commercial kitchen for cooking , bedrooms , grounds, firepit , screened porch I could go on. Perfect spot if you are looking for true relaxation

Beautiful Lodge

Lodge was very nice, kitchen was amazing, pond was great for swimming & kayaking but no fishing (but good fishing is near by), living space was nice, temps were in the 90's while we were there so no AC was tough for sleeping.

Fennessy Family Reunion

Simply a beautiful home in the most tranquil setting. From the moment we got out of the car to the moment we left for home, everything was wonderful. Our reunion was the best ever for our huge family. We are currently discussing a return for next year!!! We all just fell in love. Wonderful place to hold a family reunion!

Great setting, well equipped, and cared for

We’ve used Otter Creek Lodge for several years for large 14-22 person getaways. The place is fantastic - the setting is beautiful and private, well kept and supplied. We really have no complaints. All have enjoyed our stay each year and look forward to coming back. Jim Somers, the owner and Mike, Otter Creek’s caretaker, are a pleasure to deal with. Otter Creek is the best rental facility I’ve ever used for family and business getaways.

TEN visits and still going back!!

Beautifully maintained and furnished lodge in a quiet scenic spot next to a pond. Perfect for large groups . Most bedrooms have their own private bath. Awesome cooking kitchen, patio with gas fire pit overlooking a scenic pond, beach area for kids...trails to walk. Just so comfortable, clean and tranquil. Our favorite spot to visit with friends and their kids! The “kids” are now young adults and this lodge remains their favorite weekend of the year! HIGHLY recommend Otter Creek Lodge.

AWESOME PLACE!

We had a fabulous time at Otter Creek! The lodge and grounds are beautiful. The accommodations excellent, everything you could need or want is right there. The owner was great to work with and the caretaker was informative and responsive. The private beach was amazing. It was a perfect weekend. We can't wait until next year!
