Located in the heart of Sulphur, this home provides easy access to shopping, dining, and the interstate. This home has been fully updated, including granite countertops and stainless appliances. The open floor plan makes entertaining a breeze!
The master suite includes a 50" tv, two comfy lounge chairs, and a bar for when the adults want some time alone.
There are 4 bedrooms in total, 5 beds, two large couches, two lounge sleepers and a blow up mattress to suit any size group!

The location of the house was perfect and in a great neighborhood. Check-in was very easy and explained well. Kitchen could had been better organized with kitchen items such as trash bags, hand towels, dish rags, and pot holders. The shower heads in both bathrooms had a leak and the bathroom in the hall way the shower would would cut off and had to turn it to cold to get shower to cut back on. Not enough towels and rags to accommodate a house that supposably sleeps 12 people. The first and last bedroom had very uncomfortable mattresses that no one should have to sleep on. We traveled 9 hours from home and should have had comfortable beds to sleep on. We are still trying to figure out how the house sleeps 12 people because either one of the couches let out into a bed. Fixing these issues would make it the perfect house to go on vacation and have a home away from home.

Our stay was not good. In terms of location due to it being only minutes away from places like a target, Walmart, Ross, etc. this was a plus! However, the cleanliness of the home was not ideal.There was hardly any towels to be used to support a family of eight. The washer would not work so we were unable to do laundry for the entirety of our stay.Which then required us to go to the nearby Walmart to purchase new towels for the family to use so they can shower. The mattresses in the home are less than ideal. You can feel every spring as you lay down. Definitely not recommended for those who have back problems. After flying over 12 hours, it was the worst bed to lay in. The air mattress that was also provided would not hold air. The showers were also not acceptable due to the fact that there was no hot water the first day. When we were able to get hot water to take showers, the water had no water pressure and the water would then pulsate as it came out of the shower in the main shower area. In the master room, the showerhead was leaking so water was spraying onto the back wall more than it was onto the person who is trying to take a shower. There was numerous cockroaches salamanders & bugs all throughout the house. One of the people in our party got up in the middle of the night and stepped on one. Not sure if it is due to the fact that the garage was converted into a bedroom, but they seemed to all be located in the master bedroom area and living room area.

Not so FUN house...

The house looked perfect for our needs online. I was traveling with a wheelchair user, my parents, my husband and I, and our teenage son. The beds were terrible! The master bed was the only decent bed in the place besides the twin size, that is where we put the wheelchair user so she couls get in and out of. We did not reach out to the own... what are they going to do about beds and you sit on you sink down to the metal box frame. With springs in you back??? We went to Walmart and bought 150 foam pad that made it better. Our son was in the other bed just like ours... not great for anything but small kids. The bathroom in the main hall leading to the rooms smell like mold and mildrew made me sick to my stomach. My parents ended up staying the second night, but my husband, kiddo and I packed up aftet our event and drove though the night to get back to our own home. Suitable for kids not teenagers or adults...

We were here for softball world series. Great house, great location. Restaurants, ballpark, stores near by. I would suggest taking your own bath towels as there were just a couple.

Interesting

Super convenient location. However most of the “beds” are actually glorified cots. Found several dead roaches and found fresh mouse feces on the counters in the morning. Bugs in bathroom and etc. I am not one to leave reviews but in this case thought it would be beneficial to the property management. The AC vents rattled hard in the master bedroom and adjoining TV room.

Relaxing Stay

We came with friends for a quick birthday crabbing trip for our son. Very nice property and neighborhood. Very clean. Some of the crew complained about bed comfort but my husband and I stayed in master suite and didn’t have any issues.

Nice Property

Great property for a short term visit to Lake Charles. Very convienently located to Casinos and very quiet neighborhood. House is very clean and well maintained. Management is very responsive

Cleaniness

The beds need a topper you can almost feel the springs, they are not very comfortable. The shower liner needs to be cleaned or changed. We enjoyed our stay the house was perfect for our needs. I have a grandson who is on dialysis and we hook him up daily so the house with all the dust and the floors that are not really clean could be better. Overall it met our needs.

Amenities make it the Funhouse

Plenty of room for the family to visit and share in meals. Very pretty, accommodating and comfortable. I will be changing the shower head in my home to the same one in the Masterbath that had so much pressure that it felt like a spa! I recommend the Funhouse and will be booking in the future.

Disappointing

Shelve not mounted well fell down and toilet handle bad in master bedroom, no light back-door area, furniture old & beat up & held together with screws, mattress horrible and old, very few cooking utilities or basic utilities, no can opener, trash bags did not fit trash can in kitchen, Microwave to high over the stove, no extra towels and they were worn, no dish towels, no instruction or info about the house appliances, lights flicker. However, the area was nice and convenient to stores.
