Relax with the whole family at “The Canter”, our newly renovated, peaceful 2-bed/1-bath home. The Canter is spacious, quiet and conveniently located within the city limits, 5 min from the downtown square and just 20 minutes from The World Equestrian Center.

The Canter sits on a corner lot with plenty of outdoor space and a fenced yard for your pets.

This is the perfect location to enjoy the local businesses on the square, Silver Springs state park, Rainbow Springs and Santos Trail.

Fun and cozy

Very clean and nice. Liked the additives for the pets. Had a good stay. Liked having the fenced area for the dogs. There was a gap near the bottom of the fence line but it worked out ok.

Just what I was looking for

Had a wonderful staycation! The house is newly renovated and everything is beautifully done. Perfect place to get a feel for Ocala.

Awesome Little Get away

These are the type of people you want to plan a stay with! They are so thoughtful woth every detail in there home. It was cozy, clean, and had everything you might need! I will absolutely rent this again for our next stay in Ocala!

Perfect and Comfortable Getaway

This was by far one of the best rentals we have stayed at. Very nice, clean and comfortable. The owner's have thought of everything for us and our four legged child! We enjoyed the welcome snacks and wine after a long travel day... thank you!!! Coming from a busy area, it was refreshing how quiet it was here. Very close to the Square with shops, restaurants and breweries! And close to pretty much anything else you would want! Would stay here again for sure if in the area!

Very convenient location.

Unaware you could not wear shoes in the house. Signs on each door to remove shoes on rugs. I suggest rugs be removed. Enjoyed the wine and snacks. Perfect after a long arrival drive.

Wonderful property

We stayed here while our home was being renovated, the home was clean and very well appointed, with comfortable beds. The rain shower head was very nice after a long day of work. It was a great location, convenient to grocery stores and shopping and most convenient to downtown Ocala. The owner was very prompt with any and all communication. She provided furry friend cleaning supplies. She really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a comfortable as possible. If you are looking for a nice place to stay with pets and small family, look no further

Home away from home

The house was very welcoming and the owners have put a lot of work into providing everything, including treats, wine and dog bed and bowels. We enjoyed the paper plates as well as time seemed short to cook. Only point I would like to reference is that for dogs you need to be careful…the sofas are leather and the beds have beautiful white covers. My fur babies did enjoy the yard and no negatives to report, but if your dogs like to be up on furniture, come prepared. Keeping them off the beds was no problem. The challenge came when they came in with muddy feet after rains. But the owners did supply dog towels and clean up supplies. We would stay again…the owners answered questions immediately and the neighborhood and neighbors were nice. And the shower was fabulous…

Renovated Ranch Off The Square

The house has been completely updated to reflect a small, but charming “HGTV”-esque aesthetic. LVP floors, subway tile, cozy bedrooms, ample storage, and stocked kitchen and laundry. The rental is charming, located in a suburban setting just a few short minutes drive from Ocala’s historic downtown and 25 minutes from WEC, for equestrian friends. The level of thought and comfort provided by the hostess would be hard to match. I travel frequently for work and horse shows with my son, as was the purpose of this trip, and can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. It was so clean, well-stocked, and cozy. The hostess included easy to follow directions, instructions, and notes in a binder. The house is very secure and uses keypad entry, creating an added layer of security. The snacks and complimentary beverages were very thoughtful! The laundry room is even ready for use with every possible gadget needed! The only considerations I would give are for those who have a hard time with steps. The home has a cute porch with steps off the back and a seating area on a deck, up front. As well, the stairs to the garage are no joke. They are big/steep, though there are only two and there is appropriate signage to watch your step. The home has been thoroughly updated inside and the rain shower was wonderful! The laundry is in the garage, which has not been updated, but is connected to the home via a sunroom. Super convenient and a perk for extended stays. Overall 5 star recommend

Cozy cottage

Lovely spot. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort in providing everything and anything need for a comfortable stay. While pets are welcomed and accommodated very nicely - it is challenging for those of us who sleep with our pups - something to consider. I would definitely stay here again without the pups for a wonderful trip away.

We extended our stay for an additional week

This place is super nice and convenient to downtown Ocala, we stayed initially for 2 weeks while our home was having some repair work down to it. We needed a little extra time and we liked this property so much we stayed another week.
