Brand new, well-equipped and spacious 80m2 two bedrooms apartment. You will be staying near a famous Ben Thanh Market, Sai Gon Centre , Art Museum, Bui Vien Walking Street, Opera House, Independence Palace, City Hall, Bach Dang Ferry Port, Bach Dang Park only a few steps . Everything you need like spa, hair salon, bar, pub, bakery, convenient stores, bank are nearby. Explore the beautiful city when you are at the heart.

Reception for in-person check-in and check-out. 24hr security. Beautiful balcony with city view. Comfortable sofa great for couples in front of 65’’ screen smart TV. There are total 3 smart TV in this apartment. Spacious Kitchen with full utensils. Also two big bathrooms with 5 star Hangsrole showerpipe with thermostat for taking shower. King size bed in the master bedroom with luxury ultra silky soft cotton duvet cover set and 5 star mattress. The second room with 2 full size beds .

- Gym on first floor
- 24/24 security with reception desk like in hotel

We were thankful to have such nice accommodations. All of the negative reviews we read prior to our trip were not an issue for us. The air worked great, slept well and nice to have a washer. Hung clothes to dry. We could boil water and make ice cubes which was a nice option.

Just Okay

Overall, I enjoyed the stay. Check-in was not the burden others described. The property was as expected for the price. Negatives: (1) No pans for cooking, and the other cooking utensils were lacking. As a result the stove and oven were useless. (2) Also, there should have been instructions on how to use the AC in the rooms. It think they key was to take it off “Eco” but I’m not sure. (3) There was fairly major construction taking place in the adjacent apartment, but we didn’t hang out a whole lot in the unit so it was acceptable (barely). Would I stay there again? Probably not. There are plenty of housing options in HCMC. However, the location was great.

Don't stay at The Rixx

THisd was our second stay at this complex. After staying one night in another apaprtment were were told we would have to move to this apartment which of c ourse wasn't ready. Once again they wasted time we could be touring handlingt their ineptness. My husband told them they would have to have this please ready by 1:00. They did but it wasn't very clean. Bathmat in one bathroom was filthy. Shower glass obviously wasn't clean. The other bathroom has a toilet IN the shower area. I have pictures to prove it.

apartment was fine. Check-in and management wasn't

The check in is supposed to be at 2:00. We were told it wasn't ready. We got in at about 3:30. When we ere taken to the apartment we were told we would be moved to a different apartment the next day because the apartment we were taken to wasn't really the apartment we were supposed to get. We refused to move because they were taking up time we could be touring. Check in process is a nightmare. The girl working the desk is useless. Don't expect to get checked in at 2:00 and not be asked to move. We unfortunately stayed here again at the end of our trip and were notified the next day we had to move to another apartment due to a "problem" VERY poorly managed

Good location - poor property management

Positives The apartment itself is quite nice—spacious, and located in a central area close to major attractions and markets. The swimming pool was a great feature, and the overall setup was ideal for a comfortable stay. Negatives The check in process was long. They promised the room by 2 pm and despite the fact the we were there by 11 am the made us wait till nearly 4 pm for check in. The apartment is a fully furnished one, but it is missing cooking utensils and basic cutlery and pots for just preparing breakfast in the room. Our experience was severely marred by the management’s handling of our last night. We were informed last minute that we had to move out due to last minute emergency from the fire department. Of course we were not in the room so we could not move our stuff ourselves. We reluctantly agreed with the property manager to move our stuff to another room, and to our surprise all our belongings were unceremoniously moved to the open reception area, including perishables left out, and resulting in missing some items. They even move down the safe containing our passports and money, so we couldn't access the room any more. We discovered the following morning that they have double booked our room for a big party that needed 6 rooms on the same floor, so they needed our room because it was our last night at the hotel. This unprofessional treatment completely overshadowed the positives. We expected better from a Vrbo property of this caliber.

A great Saigon stay

The location of this apartment was absolutely incredible! So close to Ben Thanh Market, great food places, shops and walking distance to everything else. The apartment was well appointed, the aircon very much appreciated and it was great having a tv in each room as well as the lounge room when we were travelling with our teenage son and all needed time to relax. Having the washing machine was also fantastic as we were able to wash clothes and towels as needed. Being able to access the pool via security wasn't an issue at all, they were really accomodating. Trang was a fantastic communicator in the lead up to our stay - it was our first time to Vietnam and he answered all of our questions in a really friendly and practical manner. The only things is that having two keys on arrival would've been good so one of us could be at the pool and the other at the market as you need the key to get to the apartment level. A refresh of the shampoos and conditioners would've been nice but these are small things out of what otherwise was a great stay.

This is a nice apartment in a central and convenient location. Great to have a washing machine and a basic kitchen and the beds are comfortable. Good sized pool on the roof with excellent views over the city. Bit of a hassle that you can’t access it yourself and need to see reception first. It requires a quick form and security buzz you up in the lift so only a minor inconvenience. There is a small gym area on site with some free weights and basic machine equipment. The host was accessible and responded quickly to any questions. Only issue (which isn’t the fault of the apartment) was the construction directly across the road. It was extremely noisy and there doesn’t seem to be any time restrictions on when they start and finish? On our first night there it was still in full swing at 2am.

Good location, but...

Due to maintenance issue, the manager changed the booking on us a day before our arrival. We got checked in to a different apartment in the same building. This apartment has less beds and probably not as nice compared to the one we booked. A little disappointed with this stay.
