We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and working, communication was great when we had questions. The location was very convenient. It was the perfect home for our family of four and two dogs to spend Christmas away from home. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was a comfortable place to stay near the beach with dogs & family. There are a lot of parks in the area, & a nice greenspace to walk directly behind the property. We loved that Brandon had a coffee pot, with regular coffee & supplies.

We enjoyed our stay while Visiting family! Nice area. Cute house. It could have been a little more clean. All the windows were either unlocked or open when we got there ( it wasn’t warm outside). We would stay again!

Newly renovated property with nice finishes chosen. Very clean and as pictures. Quality bed linens. Furniture was comfortable. We had a lovely time and would stay again. Convenient to everything.

Near UNCW

Nice rental for a quick stay to visit our daughter at UNCW. Nice decor, quiet location, and clean upon arrival. Driveway for parking was a plus. The supplied linens and extras were of good quality and made for a convenient stay. Nice and well equipped kitchen. Check in/out instructions were lacking but upon calling the host I was given the code to enter so no worries. Only two small suggestions to make the stay perfect would be a newer/more supportive mattress in the master and less plug in air fresheners. Overall it was a comfortable and quiet place to stay and I would recommend it if staying in Wilmington near UNCW.

I wanted to provide some feedback to you regarding our stay. Thank you for apologizing about the internet, however, your communication was less than stellar. The internet literally worked maybe a hour the entire weekend. Since the internet is critical for almost all forms of entertainment these days- it was quite disappointing.In addition, the listing stated more than 3 bathrooms which was one of the reasons that this property appealed to us. However, in realty we had access to only two bathrooms. The main bathroom had two rolls of toilet paper but one had been wet and then dried out for use. The coffee maker never worked either.For your own knowledge, I wanted to let you know that there were beer cans left around our back and the back to the remote was gone. You may also want to check the thermostat as it was also not working well. We would change the temp when we went to bed but it would automatically revert to a warmer temp. It was extremely uncomfortable and warm at night even with the fans.Your place was cute and clean but the little things matter to those that stay at a VRBO and I can’t say that this was the best experience

The 9.7/10 rating for Best Friends and Family Hangout were very misleading. For the price, we expected a clean, well‑maintained property, and that was not our experience.Upon arrival, the washer and dryer were still full of the previous guests’ laundry, and the unit had not been properly cleaned. The welcome book instructed guests to start a load of laundry and run the dishwasher before checkout, but this was impossible given the situation. There was also no dishwasher soap provided, forcing us to hand‑wash dishes.Within minutes of arriving, the kitchen sink handle came off. I repaired it myself using tools I brought. When I notified the property manager, Brandon, the response indicated the issue had already been reported by prior guests, with no apology or acknowledgment that it should have been fixed before our stay.Other issues included a misleading “2.5 bathroom” listing — the half bath was located in a locked outdoor storage area — stove grates that didn’t fit the stove, cleanliness issues (including visible hair buildup), a non‑functioning sink stopper, and dirty or broken kitchen items.The backyard was also poorly maintained, with a rusted, unsafe grill, loose railing, and torn labels still attached to the chairs.With proper cleaning, accurate listing details, and basic maintenance, this property could be decent. However, given the price and high rating, we expected significantly better.
