Winter Escape! Snowmobiling/Skiing/Ice Fishing Fun

Winter in Gaylord is absolutely beautiful and you can enjoy it all from our 3 bedroom/2 bath home located less than a mile from miles of snowmobile trails, you can ice fish right from our house on Otsego Lake, we are 15 minutes from 2 local ski hills, 30 minutes from Boyne Mountain and the Sky Bridge and an hour from several wineries.

Come stay at our home for a relaxing stay, we promise you won't be disappointed!

Home is fully furnished with a full kitchen featuring all stainless steel appliances, many extra small appliances including a crockpot, popcorn maker, waffle maker, countertop griddle, airfryer and iced tea maker, we also offer a coffee bar with both a Kuerig and regular coffee maker (pods and coffee provided) and a large eat at island.

Living room has a cozy couch, oversized chair and ottoman and a giant bean bag chair for relaxing in while you watch a movie on the 55" flat screen smart TV with high speed internet for your streaming devices (bring them with you).

The 3 bedrooms have brand new comfortable beds, 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full and 1 twin bed to accommodate all of your family or friends group needs. The master bedroom also has a Roku TV for your enjoyment.

We offer a full size washer and dryer available for your use during your stay.

Our home has a full house generator so if the power should go out you won't be left in the dark!!!

There is ample parking for all of your vehicles and toy trailers, so bring your boats, jet skis, side by sides and snowmobiles to enjoy 4 seasons of fun.


Summer Info:

We have 50 feet of private sandy beach and a 50 foot dock perfect for docking your water toys or fishing off of. (our dock is available May 1st until October 1st) You can enjoy watching the loons on the lake or watch for eagles from our lake side gazebo or paddle out on the lake in one of our kayaks. We offer two kayaks and one paddle board for your use (liability waiver must be signed). We are at the south end of the lake where it is quieter and less boat traffic.

On the back deck there is a gas grill and patio dining furniture to enjoy your dinner with family and friends. After dinner head down to the backyard area to play a game of cornhole, bocce ball or yard darts before sitting at the fire pit to enjoy singing campfire songs, roasting marshmallows or telling ghost stories around the campfire or take an evening boat ride on the lake. Our dock and side fence are lit up so you can easily find your way back to the house.

Local wineries are just 30 minutes away in Indian Rive or Petoskey or take a day trip to the Traverse City area where wineries are plentiful. Boyne is only a half hour away where there is the Sky Bridge, zip lining, paint ball and an indoor waterpark, or take an hour drive to explore Mackinaw City and Island for the day.


Winter Info:

Our home is conveniently located less than a mile from snowmobile and ATV trails so there is no need to load up your toys to go play on the local trails. Gear up and ride right from the house!! We can provide snowmobile/ATV rental information if you need it!!! We provide boot dryers so you'll start fresh with dry boots every day!

If the lake is frozen you can ice fish right off our beach, no need to drive to a different location!

Otsego Resort and Treetops Ski Resorts are located 15 minutes from our home and are a great place to assure you a fun day on the slopes. Both ski resorts also offer other fun winter activities like sleigh rides and sleigh ride dinners (Treetops), Dog Sledding (Treetops), extreme tubing (Treetops), cross country skiing (Treetops), snowshoeing (Treetops), Winter Wine Walk (Otsego Resort), Winter Whiteclaw Walk (Otsego Resort) and the Beaver Dam Olympics & Splash Down (Otsego Resort) or venture a half hour away to Boyne.
