The newer Hotel Pratt is a cozy hotel, nestled behind the historic Hotel Pratt, one of the older structures in the historic village of Cooperstown, NY. Guests of the Hotel Pratt enjoy FREE off street parking in our private lot and the convenience of being in the heart of Cooperstown. It is just a half a block from Main Street, where one can browse through Main Street shops or enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants. It is under 300 feet from the Baseball Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field where the game of baseball was created (according to local legend).

Great location in the center of the village meant a short walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame, shops and restaurants. It was only a few minutes to the Farmer's. Museum. The ride around the lake is beautiful. The proximity to Oneonta provides another local area to enjoy.

Nice and clean, with excellent housekeeping. Location was best of all-a short walk to the museum, restaurants and shops. Management was nice and responsive.

I would give the hotel a 9 out of 10. We loved the location as we could walk to everything in Cooperstown. It’s a very easy place to find and parking is included. The room was nice, bed was comfy and they did not hang the bath towels over the toilet like in hotels. That drives me crazy. The iron and the hairdryer were a little dusty, I just wiped them off. I wish there was a small shelving/table in the bathroom. Plenty of space and it would’ve added to the ease of having someplace close to put my glasses while showering as counter space is very little. I wish they also had a lock code for the front door so that not just anyone could enter.

Downtown Cooperstown

Location location it’s everything. The basics Dated room, tiny TV ..bring your own TP and towels as they are rather thin and small. Like staying at a Red roof in but close to everything. Would we stay here again? Probably Go to Cooley’s and Doubleday for breakfast

Great spot!

We stayed one night to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. The location of the Hotel Pratt was central to all sights just off the Main Street. There was safe parking and plenty of food and drink options within walking distance.

The best thing about this hotel was its location. Just off Main Street it was easy to walk to all the local attractions in Cooperstown.

Great location for walkability downtown. Clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but it wasn't described that way, nor was I spending time (besides sleeping) in my room.

Baseball vacay - Very nice, affordable

The property is a bit dated but nice, clean, comfortable and within walking distance of most everything “Cooperstown”! Angie was a superb host and responded quickly to our needs. Cooley’s is a great bar/pub across the street. Lots of other very good restaurants and coffee shops very close. We would definitely stay here again and recommend Hotel Pratt if you’re looking for clean, affordable lodging close to all the Cooperstown highlights.

Home Run!

A charming space in the heart of Cooperstown, just steps from the center of Main Street and everything else that downtown has to offer. Check-in was a breeze, and there were personal touches that made us feel welcome (CJ knew who we were as soon as we got out of the car, greeted us and made sure all of our questions were answered). Everything was clean and comfortable and as advertised. We were a two minute walk from the Baseball Hall of Fame, Doubleday Field, shopping, and food! We will stay here again.
