Cabin with beautiful acreage bordering Manistee National Forest

Rustic 1 room, 1 bathroom cabin, nestled on beautiful wooded acres and bordering thousands of acres of Manistee National forest filled with ATV/ORV trails. During the winter there is an abundance of snowmobile trails just a few miles away from the property. Don't miss out on your home base during those cold adventures. Also minutes from the White River and several inland lakes great for fishing. The nearby Hesperia Sport Shot can supply you with any items you be missing or forgot to make your outdoor adventure complete. Functioning kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Cabin is all in one 'room' with the exception of the bathroom. Cabin is equipped with a central heating system and AC. Charcoal grill available onsite for guests use (charcoal not included).

Part of the rustic experience includes no wi-fi and limited cell service. Take a long walk in the national forest which borders the property with the opportunity to view a wide range of wildlife. Have a bonfire at night while looking up at the star filled sky. Property borders Manistee National Forest making it a very convenient location to trail ride, snowmobile or hike the many local trails!

NOTE: We do not have trash service, all guests must take their trash with them.

Great Getaway!

It was an awesome light cabin in the woods! We brought our two dogs, and they loved the room to roam without having to worry about neighbors. It was so quiet and made our vacation a true relaxing getaway.

Fishing trip

We stayed at the cabin while fishing the Pere Marquette river. It was a great place and very comfortable. There was even firewood stacked for fires at night. Great stay!

Fishing Trip

Awesome property if you are looking for a rural stay, turn the phones off for the weekend. Used this rental as a base camp for a fishing trip, owner was helpful and responsive, check in process was easy.

Secluded paradise

If u love the woods and outdoor adventures this place is a gem. The property owner was very responsive he gave us recommendations on things to do. We had a great time the cabin was clean and cozy. We will definitely stay again. Very beautiful area.

Awesome Getaway!

Property owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. The property was exactly as described. Me and 6 of my buddies stayed there for a nice fishing and golfing trip and had plenty of space to hang out on a rainy day. Really enjoyed our stay!!

Peaceful Retreat

Solitude was much needed and appreciated. Unplugging from electronics took a day or so to navigate, but allowed for no distractions. Plenty of beauty in the immediate vicinity with plenty of wildlife.

Great Family Getaway!!

Loved this location for focusing on family time!!! No WiFi and minimal cel service FORCED that! (Sad I know but truthful!) only suggestion for future visitors, take slippers for cold months. Perfect getaway and way to spend New Year’s Eve!

This vrbo is the best I’ve ever stayed in! The pictures do not do it justice. If you are looking for quiet, look no further. It was VERY clean, this is coming from someone with OCD. Everything you need is there. The host is super responsive. I’d give this 6 out of 5 stars if I could. We used it as a home base for a family vacation. It’s a great location to explore all Michigan has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Surrounded by nature

The property is very private, but easily accessed. Butterflies, wildflowers on a nice sized piece of land surrounded by woods. Path leading to the woods if you like hiking. Surprised the bugs weren't even bad. Inside a beautiful cabin paneled in lovely wood. Large wooden dining table, bunk beds, end table and coffee table all look to be hand made! Gorgeous. Everything you need, microwave, coffee pot, etc Very comfortable and picturesque!! Hope to return :)

Cozy Cabin in the woods

It was a great experience. There is minimal to no internet, so the family spent more time away from screens. Bathroom is clean. Towels and bedsheets were provided and clean. Kitchen is equipped with basic stuff. Bring some coffee and sugar and other condiments as needed. Owner was very responsive. Only thing is that we have to plan the places and check the weather when you have the signal, you may not be able to do that from this place.

Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend!

We had an amazing experience staying at this VRBO property. From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described in the listing. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.The location was ideal to get far far away from everyone like I wanted. Quiet and peaceful for relaxing. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home, including fully equipped kitchen, we did bring a few of our own tools just based on previous rental experiences and glad we did.The best part was the indoor fire mantle, as it was 39 degrees at night during Memorial Day weekend. We would grill our dinner and bonfire outside until it was too cold then went inside to continue to enjoy the fire :)The property is huge which made it perfect for the dogs to run around and enjoy themselves. We did a combination of hiking, wine tasting, and exploring the area for future trips. Overall, we loved the vast land in this area and a ton of orchards. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch rental experience!

Great location for lakes, fishing, and quiet getaway

This cabin is beautifully maintained, clean, and comfy! The pictures are accurate in showing just how cute and cozy this place is. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has it all, and heat/AC is ideal for unpredictable MI weather. We were delighted with the amenities offered and happy that our host checked in on us to offer any help in finding local attractions, etc. Hesperia has lots to offer and the surrounding area is beautiful too with lots of wildlife to view. We enjoyed watching loads of songbirds, turkey, deer, and a couple of porcupines, too! Although we didn’t spend a ton of time at the cabin, we were totally happy with our stay. I would definitely pop in again if we’re in that neck of the woods. It’s a great location and not far away from outdoor recreation or family destinations like Michigan’s Adventure (45 minute drive). Cell signal is a little spotty so plan for that, as stated in the description. If you fish or kayak, you’re going to love it here!!!
