Serenity Ridge is a luxury cabin designed for comfort, fun and relaxation. Centrally located just 3 miles from Pigeon Forge & only 2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and it's only three minutes from the parkway up to our cabin with great views of both the lower valley and Mt. LeConte.
A trip to The Great Smoky Mountains means mountain views and unlike other cabins, Serenity Ridges views of Mt LeConte and the lower valley are unobstructed year round. While the views are awe inspiring in the daylight, nighttime brings its own magical experience as lights from distant cabins twinkle like fireflies. Add a little snow during winter and it becomes even more of a storybook experience.
Our covered wrap around porch was designed to provide both a great experience and to frame the striking views with our log columns. Combining those views with amenities like our hot tub, bench swings, grill and outdoor dining area plus a fire pit creates an environment where stress just melts away.
From sunup to sundown relaxation is yours to enjoy. You can have your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains and sip a glass of wine in the hot tub watching the sunset play along the side of Mt. LeConte or sit around the fire pit and enjoy the stars and the sounds of nature.
As you enter Serenity Ridge off the wrap around porch you come into the main area where wood floors, tongue and groove walls throughout, comfortable furnishings and striking views of the lower valley will help you to immediately start relaxing.
The kitchen includes Stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, built in microwave & stove top oven along with granite counter tops and custom Hickory cabinets along with the kitchen items needed to provide the perfect environment to indulge your inner chef and create everything from a quick snack to full dinners. Our dining room seats six comfortably.
If grilling is your preference, we invite you to use our high temp gas grill where you can prepare your Steaks, chicken and burgers while enjoying one of the best views you’ve ever had while grilling. Once done, gather at the outside dining area on the wrap around porch and enjoy your meal while taking in the beauty of both the valley and mountain views.
The master bedroom suite on the first floor comes with a king size bed, full bathroom with double vanity, his & her closets with hangers, full size dresser, 43 inch smart t.v., luxury linens and a washer/dryer. It also has its own door out to the wrap around porch and hot tub.
The living room has a 52 inch smart t.v., a comfortable couch which pulls out to a queen size sleeper and an electric fireplace with heater to make snuggling up for a show or movie even more special.
Upstairs you will find a stunning vaulted ceiling and gorgeous views of the lower valley and Mt. LeConte. The second bedroom is appointed with a queen bed and full size closet with dresser and hangers, 43 inch smart t.v. and views of Mt. LeConte out the bedroom window. There is also a full bathroom with a double vanity and a walk in shower.
Vacations are about fun and upstairs our game room is designed for just that. With a full size air hockey table, foosball table, a game wall with family favorite board games and a game table to gather around and play, a mini fridge for your favorite snacks and drinks and a high-top table for two where you can take a break and soak in the views of Mt. LeConte.
There is also a second entertainment area with a 52 inch smart t.v. over an electric fireplace with a reclining love seat and a separate reclining chair for your comfort. For the hiker in you there is a framed wall map of the Smoky Mountains so you can find your favorite hiking trail or mountain feature.
Finally, we top it off with high-speed internet, a great cable package and an outdoor area where you can sit back in our Adirondack chairs and enjoy the scenic views of the Great Smoky Mountains.

1. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, and wash cloths.
2. What household supplies are provided? – We get you started with 1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, mini dish detergent, 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry detergent pod, kitchen trash bags, and travel/hotel size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion. There is an iron and ironing board and a full size hair dryer with attachments in each bathroom.
3. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen including a griddle, slow cooker, blender, toaster, waffle iron, Juicer, various size pots & pans, wine glasses, a French press, a Keurig, a regular coffee pot, measuring cups and spoons, mixer and mixing bowls, cocktail tools, spice rack, chef knives, cookie sheets, casserole dishes and more.
4. Do you provide any baby items? – Yes! We provide a highchair, pack n’ play, and baby gates at the interior stairs (top and bottom) and outside at the porch stairs.
5. Do you provide a grill? – Yes! Propane with cover
6. Do I need firewood? – No need. The fireplaces are electric, and the fire pit runs on propane.
7. Do you allow pets? – No. Sorry but under no circumstances do we allow pets.
8. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – Yes! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay.
9. Is there a community club house and pool area? – No, unfortunately this cabin does not have access to a pool.
10. Is the price flexible? - We do NOT offer discounts, nor do we eliminate or reduce any of the fees. However, stays of 7 nights or longer have an automatic built-in discount of 10%.
11. When is the second payment due? – 45 Days prior to your stay.
12. When will I get the address and cabin access info? - Address, door code, and driving directions will be sent in a separate email/text after your final payment is made.
13. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4pm and you must checkout prior to 10am on the day of your departure.
14. How do cancellations work? - Cancellations or shortened stays that are made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date will be fully refunded. Cancellations or changes that are made 8-14 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund minus Vrbo's service fees. Cancelations 7 days or less prior to the arrival date are non-refundable.
15. Do you provide travel insurance? - If cancellation is a concern, we recommend the purchase of Cancellation Protection from CSA (this does not go through us).
16. Can I cancel if the weather is bad? – Cancellations due to weather will not be refunded.
17. How is the drive up to the cabin? – It is a short 3 minute drive up the mountain. The roads are well maintained and paved. However, there are some steeper parts that may be "scary" for some people.
18. Do I need 4-wheel drive? – Serenity Ridge is a mountain top cabin and even though it doesn't get much snow overall, some storms can drop a few inches or more so we do recommend that if ice or snow conditions are present, you should have 4-wheel drive or snow chains at a minimum. Just check the weather before your trip and plan accordingly.
19. Is this cabin secluded? – This cabin sits on almost half an acre. There is one neighbor to the left about 100 ft away. However, there are no windows on their cabin facing us and their deck is walled. To our right you can see the top of a cabin but with the angle of our cabin you feel very private on our porches as if they were never even there. Our hot tub area also has a retractable screen for extra privacy if you desire.
20. Was this area affected by the 2016 wildfires? – Yes. Most everything has grown back though you may see evidence of trees and properties that were affected by the fires and possibly hear some construction noise from other cabins being built. The photos we have displayed are current and the views are absolutely spectacular!
21. Can I book through you direct? - We only accept bookings and payments via Vrbo and their suite of booking websites.
22. What TV package / channels do you provide? – We provide one of the best cable packages that our cable provider has. This includes premium movie channels and sports channels as well as the ability to stream your own favorite services on all of our TV’s. As a bonus, all our TVs are the same type so you only have to learn one remote. (Instructions are near the remote) They all work the same.
23. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide high speed unlimited internet with Wi-Fi.
24. Do you ever reduce the stated prices – On occasion, we may reduce prices for some unsold dates. That will already be reflected in the pricing that you see here.
25. Are there any days where Check-in or Check-out is not permitted? - The only 3 days that we do not allow check-in or check-out are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day & New Year's Day
26. What do you recommend for clothing? – Casual, season appropriate and remember this is a mountain so heels and flip flops may not be the best choices. Sneakers, hiking shoes and trail runners are common.
