This house, nestled in a quiet neighborhood of single family homes, has been remodeled top to bottom and features:

- Covered parking at the front door.
- Clean, uncluttered design throughout.
- Open galley kitchen, fully stocked with everything you might need. New appliances, cabinets and counters.

- New beds/mattress in every bedroom.
- Bright overhead lighting throughout.
- New bathroom fixtures.

- Large fenced-in back yard on a corner lot with trees and a back patio make for a nice spot to sit with a morning coffee, or use the outdoor grill to make dinner.

- This is a non-smoking, pet-free home. Parties are not permitted.

Clean, well stocked, great location!

We were in the area for a tournament in Newberry and this house could not have been more perfect. Firstly, fantastic location. Minutes from the stadium and close to the Oaks Mall and every amenity in between. The home was very clean and updated with plenty of space for my family of four to operate. The hosts were very nice and quick to respond to any questions. We will absolutely be staying here again for future tournaments and recommend this home to anyone looking for a place close to the campus or for tournaments in the Newberry area. Thank you Alex and Karen!

Gator Graduation

We usually stayed at a hotel during our daughter’s years at UF. With graduation being more than just a day long celebration, we turned it into a long weekend. The house was perfect. Location was excellent. Hosts were communicative and thought of all the little things to make the stay that much more enjoyable.

SO clean, comfortable, and perfect!

The Palm View home was so perfect for our Gainesville stay!! Everything in the home was immaculately clean, and the hosts thought of so many tiny details that made this such a nice stay! There were portable fans in each bedroom (I need the white noise to sleep), there were motion sensor nightlights in both bathrooms (for those middle of the night trips), and there were plastic cups, paper plates, and disposable coffee cups for added convenience! They even left fresh flowers in the kitchen! The house is in a very quiet, cute little neighborhood. This truly was a home-away-from-home. I definitely will stay at the Palm View for our next famiy trip to Gainesville!

Perfect for our group!

Had a college reunion event and four of us stayed. Having four bedrooms was ideal. The house is updated and all the beds are good! Ten minutes to campus and in a quiet neighborhood. Great little Bagel/coffee shop two minutes away! House was super clean! We would stay here again for a game weekend for sure. The other three guys who came all told me “ great house that you got”. No complaints! Great house!

Wonderful rental in Gainesville

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Alex and Karen are thoughtful hosts who provide an excellent experience for their guests. The house is immaculate and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, attractive and close to everything Gainesville has to offer.

College football trip

Location was close to campus but not walking distance. The home was well stocked and very clean. We had everything we needed for a large group. We would certainly stay at The Palm View when in the area again.

We Loved It!

We were in town for a funeral, and Alex and Karen made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing. They are thoughtful, helpful, and professional, and their VRBO is welcoming, comfortable, and immaculate. We were especially touched by their kind welcome note, lovely fresh flowers, water bottles in the refrigerator, and coffee/creamer/sugar ready for our use. The bed linens were fresh and new, the towels were fresh and new, full-size bottles of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available--everything we needed. The house is beautifully renovated and the beds are very comfortable. And I want to stress again how clean this VRBO is--absolutely immaculate. Karen and Alex, thank you again for everything. We appreciate you and we will definitely stay again!

Super cute house!

My family of 6 stayed at this 4 bedroom home when moving one of our children into the dorms at UF at the start of his freshman year. The house was beautifully remodeled, clean and convenient in a quiet residential neighborhood just minutes from campus. The owners were very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Family retreat for graduation

We thoroughly enjoyed this home for our family to come together for our son's graduation. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and pleasant. The space was perfect for our extended family and we enjoyed being able to rest, relax, and visit during our stay. The house had everything we needed for the trip. We would highly recommend this location if traveling to Gainesville.

Perfection!

This house is lovely. It has been recently renovated so everything is brand new. It is also spotless! We loved the location as we could walk to two grocery stores, multiple restaurants and shops and even the post office. The hosts, Alex and Karen, were extremely responsive and helpful. We will be back!!!

While we are new to short term hosting, we have had property for rent in Gainesville for over 20 years and stayed in a number of places ourselves.
