Great place to stay!

Cabin was very clean and stocked with essentials for a few days. Caretakers were really friendly and on the premises. We already made reservations for Aug.

Great location close to everything in town. Very quiet and comfortable. Cabins are updated but still feel the history inside. Radiator heaters and window ac units make it comfortable. Charcoal grill and pavilion with tables. Cabin has great kitchen for cooking. Host is on the property so questions or needs you can have answered quickly. Recommend staying here.

This is the sweetest, most peaceful, cleanest property we have stayed in in Maggie Valley!!! We loved the host, enjoyed talking with him and he was very helpful!!! This cabin was SO cute and SO very clean!!! We will definitely return!

Relaxing Getaway

Loved the authenticity of the cabin! We had a short relaxing stay before my husband's surgery. The weather was cool and perfect and we would definitely stay again.

Maggie Valley visit

Old cabin with charm. Could have used a washer/dryer and a small window A/C in the second bedroom, but other than that it had everything we needed. The gentleman that worked there was very nice. We would stay there again.

Convenient and comfortable

I have stayed here before and it is just like before. Good basic accommodations. Kitchen, hot shower and a comfortable bed. The rocking chairs on the porch are a bonus.

Impromptu Getaway

We will be back. The cabins are so cute. It was a perfect romantic getaway to focus on each other. Enough wifi to stay plugged in if necessary but we left our phones in the living room the whole time.

Pioneer Village: A Wonderful Village, Indeed!

We love staying at Pioneer Village. While it is near the heart of Maggie Valley, it is in a truly peaceful spot with Campbell Creek running through it and cabins that make it a real mountain home. There is a manager on property who is always helpful and helps to create a hospitable community. The owner is responsive and caring as well. We highly recommend "the village" to you.

Awesome Cabin!

I booked this for my mom, cousin and her husband. My father passed away recently and they use to go to Maggie Valley alot. My mom loved it and their stay. She said the bed was l very comfortable and it was quite and a beautiful spot. She loved the decor and comfort of the cabin. She has already told me she wants to come back and stay. This is the first time my mom had stayed in a cabin instead of a motel/hotel. Don't think she will want to stay anywhere else now. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Wonderful family get together in cozy, rustic cabins

We stayed at Pioneer Village, many years ago as a family and always enjoyed the simple, rustic, cozy cabins and location. Now, years later, we were able to join our children and grandchildren here at Pioneer Village. The property is under new ownership and management and I am happy to say, that it was a pleasure to be welcomed by the same kindness and willingness to help with any needs, that we always experienced. The cabins are being updated and re-freshened.. but the old, rustic charm is still very much present. Communication was prompt and friendly. We look forward to returning and creating more loving memories with our children and grandchildren.

We loved the Pioneer cabins! It has a really quaint, safe, and beautiful outdoor space. The inside of the cabin was very clean and comfortable. Exactly as the photos showed. Our son loved playing out in the yard, as well as the fireplace. Would recommend this as a convenient, safe spot for kids with families. :)
