Welcome to Inn the Navy- This property is located in a quiet beach community. Perfect for family vacations or relaxing with friends. Not intended for loud & rowdy girls/guys trips.

Inn the Navy is a 100-year-old beach cottage that has been painstakingly restored to celebrate its past while providing modern upgrades. The name is a nod to the owner’s career in the U.S. Navy. Nautical touches are found throughout the home, including each of the bedrooms named after Carrier Vessels he served aboard.

This home features 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an outdoor shower, firepit and game room. All located on an oversized lot with direct access to a large sandy beach on Lake Michigan. Gather your friends and family for an unforgettable week at the beach.

When you enter the upper level, the water view will beckon you toward the back of the house. If you can resist the draw, the designer kitchen will compete for your attention. The kitchen, featuring a 14' quartz island and will be the center point of your time together. Have fun cooking meals with the GE Cafe series appliances. The dining space features a long table with seating for 10. An additional round table will seat the rest of your group. The open concept floor plan extends to the living room. Enjoy some downtime with the smart TV. The back of the home will likely be your favorite space - affectionately referred to as the Piano Room, as it features an antique baby-grand piano.

Also on this level are 3 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom holds a queen size bed. The next bedroom includes a twin bunkbed + a pull-out trundle bed. An additional queen bedroom rounds out this level. The bathroom contains a shower /tub & the gorgeous antique trough sink, original to the home.

The final area on the upper level is a quaint space known as the sleeping porch, a whimsical nod to the history of this home. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a good book.

Continue downstairs and challenge your friends to a game of air hockey. An additional smart TV and large comfy sectional will be perfect for movie night.
This level includes the remaining 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms feature a queen bed. The final bedroom includes built-in bunks + stairs. The room has a twin over twin + a twin over queen and is ready for the best slumber parties you can imagine.
Both bathrooms on this level feature custom tile showers and pedestal sinks.
Laundry and an extra fridge are also found in the mudroom.

Step outside to the grass covered side-yard and have a fun game of ping-pong. Or set up a the cornhole game with the custom boards. The cafe string lights will set the tone for an enjoyable evening.

Behind the house is an expansive sandy backyard with a wood burning firepit. There are also two full-size picnic tables for casual outdoor dining, found in the covered patio.
The beach is quickly accessed through the sand covered pathway in the back. In no time you’ll be lounging alongside the water and feeling the lake breeze. The sunsets are not to be missed- they will take your breath away!

6 beach chairs, plenty of beach towels, beach cart + some children’s toys are provided for your use.

Parking onsite is available for 7 cars MAX. Outdoor security cameras are in use on the property.
