Enjoy Lake Life on Big Bass Lake, Bemidji MN

The Lake house is the perfect place to relax and enjoy what Minnesota has to offer with family & friends. The property is located 25' off the shore of Big Bass Lake on the east side of Bemidji. Close to Bemidji State Park & Bemidji Town and Country Club golf course.

Summer activities in the area include swimming, fishing right off the dock, kayaking, boating, and sitting by the fire enjoying the lake view. This property is also a winter wonderland with ice fishing, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.

The main floor features the kitchen, dining & sitting room, living room, 1 bedroom with queen-size & twin-size beds, and 1 full bath. The second floor features a master bedroom suite with a king bed and queen-size futon. The master bath has a tile shower and double sink vanity. The second floor also has a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a bath, and a living room that has a full-size futon and a game table. The home has 3 decks 2 with lake views.

This is a beautiful property. The home is private and inviting. Sitting lakeside watching the sunset in front of a fire 10' from the lakeshore is my favorite place to be.

Firewood is available for your convenience. 2 kayaks & a paddle board are available for guests to use. We have a small charcoal grill stored in the Kayak Barn and a flat stone grill located lakeside.

The calendar is kept up to date. If your dates are available feel free to use the "Book now" feature on VRBO. We will confirm your reservation after we receive your booking.

May1 - June 30 - 3 day minimum stay.
July 1 - August 15 - 5 day minimum stay.
August 16 - September 30 - 3 day minimum stay.
October 1 - April 30 - 2 day minimum stay.

Very beautiful place with lots of room and comfortable beds and bedding. Nice to have 3 bathrooms and the kitchen space was amazing with a beautiful view of the lake. Very thankful to stay here.

This was a clean, well kept property on a beautiful quiet lake just outside of Bemidji. We enjoyed a fire overlooking the lake in the evenings and really felt like we were the only people there. Highly recommend.

This property was perfect! My toddler loved the rock collection, it was super clean! Was looking for something that wasn’t a hotel as I had 3 total small kiddos and this was perfect. Just can’t say enough great things, will book again!

Home away from home

I've been searching for a place that I can call home away from home, as I've family in the area and wanted to be able to host them during our visits. This property is the perfect destination —enough space for everyone to gather comfortably without ever feeling cramped. Even with colder weather, the home was cozy, well-equipped, and options for us to connect and relax together.Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a memorable group getaway, no matter the season!

Amazing winter wonderland trip

We had a wonderful Christmas in Bemidji! Everything was exactly as depicted. Theresa, our host had every detail covered, including surprising us with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! There wasn’t anything that we could have wanted that wasn’t in the house. We hope to stay again. .

Great Weekend with Friends

The house was very nice for 2 families to stay - bedrooms had an extra bed/futon for kids and extra bathrooms. The fall colors and location are beautiful. The kids enjoyed running in the yard. The access to the lake is a pretty steep drop off.

Cutest Lake Home!

From the moment we pulled in the drive-the cutest lake home! Very spacious yet cozy! Little decorative touches made you feel like coming home to your own cabin! Perfect for our sister weekend! Unfortunately we could not enjoy the provided wood for a fire due to windy Mother Nature! The wind did give us a few scares as it knocked over the garbage cans a couple times. A quick 15min drive into town. We all wished we could have stayed longer!

End of summer- Lake fun

We loved the setting. The lake was so clear and it was fun to paddle board & kayak in late September. The house was stocked with everything we needed. It was nice to have a campfire and wood available. It was also great to have lifejackets available. Fun family memories were made! The only negative comment would be regarding the sheets on the twin bed upstairs since there were long black hairs on them and a stain on one of the comforters. I don't have a dog and could smell dog when I first walked in. With that being said I would still stay here again. It was very nice!

Best lake vacation we have ever had

Can’t say enough about this vacation rental. Perfect very private location right on the water with fantastic fishing right of the dock! The master bedroom has an amazing view. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything needed for a perfect lake vacation. This is our 8th MN August vacation (4in Walker area and 3 in Grand Rapids area)

Amazing Experience

The description doesn’t do this property justice. We had 8 people in our group, 4 adults and 4 teen/tweens, and everyone slept comfortably and had ample space to spread out. The home was clean and the amenities were perfect. Our two families spent the days kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake and the mornings & evenings catching fish off the dock. The property has everything you need to enjoy a traditional Northern MN vacation.

No better way to spend a weekend!

The place was amazing. It had everything we needed and more! We were also the envy of many of our friends. Our kids had an absolute blast. This place made it easy for our family to get away and enjoy the weekend. They had something for everyone and with a lager family, that is hard to do. We are already looking at our calandra about when we can go back!

Beautiful lake home checks all the boxes!

Our family of five adults and one seven year old thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lake home is beautiful and furnished with everything you could need, from kitchenware right down to firewood, split and stacked and ready for a bonfire. The little sandy bottom swimming area is perfect for little kids, and there was fishing off the dock. The property feels very private. During our stay last week, which included one rainy day, there were no mosquitos. The property has easy access to Bemidji if desired. All in all, a stellar Minnesota lake home!

Wedding weekend

Overall very neat property. We had a great time. The benches on the dock were a bit unsafe. People sat on them and they shifted. Also our air didnt seam to kick on especially 2nd floor. We had an extremely busy wedding weekend so we never reached out to host about that simply because of time and events going on. But we enjoyed our family time together.
