Our Renovated Designer Cottage located in rural Richmond Massachusetts is close to the NY border and all Berkshire Attractions. Vintage touches mixed with new modern upgrades make this a Unique and Comfortable renting experience!
This 1940s stucco cottage has been thoughtfully reimagined and curated with recent kitchen and bathroom remodels, new high end furnishings and lighting, newly refinished screened porch and luxurious upgrades in every room. The house itself is 720 sq ft with additional Breezeway, Large Screened Porch and Private Yard with gardens and Inviting fire pit area with views to the Forest.
Enjoy the ease of 1 level living as you enter through the breezeway into the brand new kitchen boasting porcelain tiled floor, new stainless appliances, quartz countertop, large farm sink and custom live-edge open shelving. 4 burner gas stove with center griddle and full size oven. Cooking utensils are provided as well as bar items, bbq accessories and High end cutlery and dishes.
The living room features custom reclaimed wood accent walls and new Morso woodstove for an uber cozy vibe in cold season. 46" flat screen Smart TV.
The Vintage pine Farm table in dining room seats 4 comfortably. Prepare your favorite cocktails using the built-in bar nook.
Bedroom has Queen sized tempurpedic mattress with optional 3” mattress topper if you prefer a softer bed. Leather Resting Headboard, 2 side tables and 42" flat screen Smart TV. Two Dressers and 1 closet provide ample storage. High end linens and plush pillows and blankets promise a good nights rest.
The newly remodeled bathroom has a large custom Vanity with Quartz top, Impressive Walk-in tiled shower, and radiant heated Marble floors.

Outside, the large West facing Screened Porch with vaulted ceiling overlooks the private partially fenced backyard, gardens and fire pit area. Enjoy the evening sunsets!
Every room is tastefully furnished and detailed- designed for your best vacation experience.

Bousquet Ski area is 7 miles and Jiminy Peak ski area is just 15 miles away.

Jonathan and Lauren were beyond excellent hosts. The cottage was immaculate and so cozy. My husband and I spent 4 days there over the holidays and we were able to relax. The furniture is very comfortable, as is the bed. Whenever we had a question and texted Jonathan, he replied right away. There was a big snow last night and he offered to come help us, if we needed anything.We would definitely love to return here in the warmer seasons. However, it was just wonderful in the winter too!

Great stay!

Lauren and Jonathan have a beautiful cottage in a great location. The place is extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed - it was perfect for us and our dog. The whole experience felt elevated compared to other rentals we've stayed in throughout the Berkshires. We will be back!

Long weekend in the Berkshires

Jonathan and Lauren are wonderful hosts. Their cottage is just beautiful. The screened porch is amazing. Great location -just 10 minutes to Tanglewood and all the key towns in the area.

MOST ENJOYABLE

This was our second stay, and we enjoyed it even more. We had intended on doing some things we didn't have time for the first trip in the area; however after a long road trip just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful home. The screened porch is a delight to sit, catch up on reading, nap, listen and watch the birds. L & J are stupendous hosts who are always available for any questions that may arise. We highly recommend and hope to return.

Magical Cottage

We venture and explore often, and Jonathan and Lauren’s cottage ranks up there for us. It is cozy, extremely well appointed, and stylish. High end appliances, furniture, blankets, bedding, etc… They certainly know how to provide a sanctuary for their guests. Highly recommend! We are already looking forward to a future visit in the warmer weather so we can take advantage of the beautiful 3 season porch and outdoor firepit.

Cozy and stylish getaway for two.

Jonathan and Lauren are perfect hosts. They provided us delicious local coffee and donuts, which we happily had for breakfast in the beautiful screened-in porch. The house is exactly as pictured - tastefully decorated and comfortable. Everything, from the soap to the all-natural bug spray is thoughtfully selected. The house is near Lenox, Shaker Village and scenic hiking. We would absolutely stay there again on our next trip to the Berkshires!

Return visit even better!

Our second visit to this lovely cottage! This time we made ample use of the fireplace. It feels like you are staying at a high end hotel in the Berkshires! Lauren & Jonathan have really thought of everything you may need during your stay and are a quick text away when you need a restaurant recommendation. We've now stayed here in fall & winter. We'll have to give spring & summer a try to round out our reviews for each season ;)

Cottage gem

This is one of those perfect vacation rentals that you want to tell all your friends about and -- also selfishly want to keep to yourself! Lauren & Jonathan have created an elegant and exceptionally well-appointed one-bedroom cottage in the Berkshires. We already booked another visit. Need I say more?

On a scale of 1-10 this is a 20!

Jonathan & Lauren were superb hosts. We erred in making our reservations and they were extremely accommodating. The beautiful cottage is in a great location, and it is evident much thought and care has gone into every aspect. Landscaping,design and decor are all done to the highest quality. They have thought of EVERYTHING to make this a cozy, comfortable and charming home. We really enjoyed relaxing on the veranda. The local milk and cookies were a wonderful treat. We hope to return soon.

A Piece of Heaven in Richmond

This was my first visit back to the Berkshires in 44 years and I could not be any luckier to stayed at this wonderful cottage! I felt at home from the moment I pulled into the drive way. Every detail has been considered. I made friends with my neighbors. The location is so convenient to every town, Great food, hiking, and beautiful towns. The cottage is so impeccable clean, tastefully styled, cozy and comfortable comfy. Plus the very gracious host allowed me and my 13 year old pup stay and he loved the screened in porch and plus lawn. Restorative weekend in elegant surroundings

We and our pup enjoyed a perfect long weekend in Lauren and Jonathan’s beautiful cottage. It’s furnished tastefully yet comfortably, and we wanted for nothing. We were welcomed warmly by Jonathan, who gave us a tour of all we went on to enjoy— a cozy, chic cabin full of thoughtful touches that ensured we had everything we could want. Our weekend consisted of breakfasts in the screened-in porch surrounded by joyful birdsong, wonderful hikes, leisurely games of cribbage, and meals whipped up in the beautifully designed kitchen. A breezeway and bench made it easy to keep the house tidy, even with our dog, and we loved the cottage so much that it felt natural to treat it as if it were our own— affectionately but with care. We ran out of time so didn’t make use of the terrific fire pit (with logs ready to light)— just one of many reasons we look forward to returning.

Cozy Weekend Abode

My husband and I spent three nights at this property as we toured the surrounding towns of Lenox, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington (all within 15-20 minutes of the house). We loved the décor as it really dropped us into the Berkshire style. The café bar in the kitchen, as well as the wooden stove, and firepit added to the coziness we were seeking on this long weekend. Jonathan and Lauren provided a wonderful binder of recommendations. Guido's was the perfect grocer for us (deli for sandwiches and dinner supplies). We also loved that we could use the breezeway for undressing (boots, wet clothing, etc.) to leave the rest of the home tidy. We used the dryer downstairs to dry anything damp (very helpful). The kitchen was so well stocked, we were in need of nothing! There is also a spring water dispenser for filtered water which is essential for us as we avoid drinking tap. We loved staying here...and already miss it!
