Welcome to the quiet, peaceful country life. Close enough to the action yet far enough away to enjoy every sunrise and sunset on full display surrounded by large agricultural fields and ample peace and quiet. The entire main floor is fully furnished with great views, covered carport, overflow parking, separate entry and independent temperature control.

Our Idaho Country Cottage is located about 10 miles from Caldwell, Idaho

Quiet time is 10pm. We live downstairs and get up early. Absolutley No pets allowed No smoking in or around the premises
The back stairs and back yard are not part of the upstairs rental unit. Please respect our space. Overall please treat our space with care, respect
If it’s Monday, please take out all trash in the house. Trash will be picked up Tuesday morning.

We never saw the host. It was a great stay in the country side great view in the back. We had a whole house to enjoy each others company. We made thankgiving dinner there they had what we needed other than a can opener and a potato peeler! But couldnt bet the quiet clean atmosphere. Ty for a great stay!

A lovely family home, we felt welcome and safe. We did not realize David and family also lived in the downstairs, but this was not any problem, just a surprise. Thank you for a peaceful and beautiful stay. Just the thing we needed after a week on the road.

Quiet country setting

Great place to stay if you want to be out of town.

We were in town for a church function at Homedale. The drive was about 25 minutes so it worked out great for us. It was out of town and quite. Check in was easy and smooth.

Cute place

The house was a quaint, clean, quiet place in the countryside. Our family of five (2 adults, an 18,14 and 9yr old) enjoyed our time there. Our teens loved having the living room to themselves while our 9yr old loved sleeping on the roll out cot in the large bedroom with us. The host David was great at responding to questions I had. The first morning we were there the power went out due to strong winds in area, he kept me updated on when power was restored. I would definitely stay here again when visiting my family.

Off the beaten path

I was back to visit family and friends for a weekend and wanted to be out in the country. The neighboring property was a bit dilapidated but the property simply done, neat and comfortable. Dave and Caroline are gracious hosts that live on the property and are available but so unintrusive that some of my family did not realize they were there.

Wonderful Retreat

David, Carolina and Javi were great hosts and have a wonderful, exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable home in the country side. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and felt right at home. I had the pleasure to meet David and Carolina while out for a morning walk. They are wonderful people. We would love to return during our next visit to Idaho. Chris & Kelly

Bargain for a family

I think this place would be an easy fit if you have a car full of kids. There is a full kitchen, two baths and room to spread out. There is a kitchen table to seat everyone. It's not far off the highway, but it feels very rural. We're early to bed and to rise so it was a good fit with the owner.

When i arrived there was a large burn pile fire blazing next door. Most all of the window were open and place smelled of smoke. I took a quick shower and dried with a smoky smelling towel. I realized that the place was unsuitable for habitation and collected my things and left looking for a healthier place. I contacted owner down stairs and indicated I was unhappy and wanted a refund and all he would say is was I'm sorry. I still want a refund as the place was uninhabitable. I found a place near Boise with a relative . I did not spend one night there. Aaron

Out in the Country

The house was very clean. The only problem I had was the listings had it as a two bedroom house and it is only a one bedroom, Our daughter slept on the sofa. They did have a futon in the living room and a roll away in the closet otherwise it was a great stay.

Peaceful

The listing indicated 2 bedrooms but there was actually only one. There was a futon and a sofa in living room that could make into beds if needed. The house is very clean and comfortable and located in a peaceful country setting. This was appreciated after 2 long days of moving my daughter back into her college dorm.

Living in the country has many advantages. Our closest neighbors are about a "seven iron" away from us and farther. No fences on property lines for privacy. We don't live close enough for those! And while driving down the country lanes (asphalt, not gravel), remember to wave at passers by.
