Rental is as advertised, photos give a good representation. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony and water access from the deck. Unit was clean and the hosts are quick to respond.

Awesome location. Everything we needed was available to us and the views don't get any better. 4 adults could easily occupy the space. We will be back.

Wonderful Experience

The property was just as advertised - and better. The unit was easy to enjoy, especially because of its access to the water and view of the sunset each night. I highly recommend the place if 2 BR and 2 BA are sufficient to meet your needs.

Clean and spacious apartment

The apartment was clean and spacious, has a well-equipped kitchen and a nice deck that overlooks the ocean. It was very convenient to have a washer in the apartment too. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I think this was the first place in the Caribbean that we have stayed that didn't seem to have any roaches. It's on the main road, so there is some street noise, but we quickly adapted to that. Overall, a very nice place. We would come again.

Cozy and Convenient

A lovely second floor apartment with an amazing view and easy access to the water. The house reef is great for night dives. We were two older couples who enjoyed the proximity to all the southern dive sites. The apartment was well-equipped with all the essentials. Nicole was great to work with and answered all our questions quickly. She was such a great host that when we arrived the fridge was stocked with a few snacks and some wine!

Divers Paradise

We stayed 7 nights at Belaire. Location was perfect for diving, right in the middle of the best spots. A bonus is to shore dive Chez Hines from the private stairs at the property. Those not staying here need to use a boat to get to this site. Easy parking right in front of the unit. Condo was well stocked with dishes, spices for cooking, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, kitchen with full sized appliances including dishwasher and clothes washer, and ice cold ac in the bedrooms. Ac wasn’t wanted or needed in the main living area as the breeze comes through the place nicely. Zero issues with check in and check out. Perfect spot and will return.

Great Location

The pictures are accurate. That view is what you are paying for.... It is amazing! We spent the mornings diving and evenings sipping cocktails on the deck enjoying the view. Other reviews mention bugs on the countertops, but I find this to be true of all Caribbean destinations if you leave food out, so it is best to put everything in the fridge. The condo has everything you need although we only had 1 drinking glass...but we got by.:) The location was great...close to everything. We were met by the host upon our arrival with snacks which was a nice touch. I don't know why all hosts don't do this. It is also true that this unit has a washer, but no dryer. The air is arid, so things dried quickly when hung outside. We will definitely be back again. Thanks.

Great location but a few disappointments

The property is in a great location. The check in process was great. We went to the grocery store to buy all our supplies after which we carried them in the condo. Put away the cold stuff. Put our breakfast and snack items on the counter. We then headed to dinner. After being gone a couple of hours we returned to all of our food being covered in ants. We then had to throw everything away. We contacted the owner that night and they told us he would be by the next morning. We then all took cold showers. The next morning the owner showed up with a can of ant spray and said we should not have left food on the counter and we would need to spray. Not once were we told this at checkin. Also he said the ants were due to the shift in current. We talked to several other neighbors throughout the week and not one had any issues. Also the water heater was unplugged to reset it and it started to work on day 2, we had to fix that ourselves as well. Day 3 we had reservations to attend a superbowl party so we decided to get dressed up but no blow dryer as the listing stated. Upon contacting the owner telling her we needed one ASAP she told us she was downtown at the carnival parade and could not bring us one that night but would bring a new one the next morning, They did show up with a new one as we appreciated. Except for the continued ants even though all food was stored in the refrigerator the last 4 days went smooth. They even delivered cupcakes for Valentine's Day

Thank you very much for the detailed review as always good to point out all aspects of your stay. Again we are very sorry about the ants and will shall make our next guests aware not to leave food on the counter as once there is food they will come back to check for more.Also we will tell our guests about checking the timer on the boiler. I think I have already apologized about being in the parade on Sunday night and couldn't bring a new hairdryer. ( shops are closed on Sunday night and to walk out of the parade to pick up my own couldn't have helped you as well. as it would have taken ages) I really appreciated your husband for understanding the next morning when Martin brought a new one over . Happy to read to you appreciated the cupcakes and the late check out free of charge . Again thank you for staying with us and being our guests

Very nice unit ... but

We had a nice 10 day stay at this property. The location is great, and the views are as good as the pictures indicate. The unit is well appointed, even for a small kitchenette. Lots of shade on the balcony. Property managers were available and responsive. Beds were comfortable and the bedroom AC units worked very well (thank goodness!!!). Pillows were ok, but we would've liked a few blankets to go over the sheets. Bathrooms were clean and nice, although counter space is very limited. You will need to set a water heater timer to get hot water in the showers. You will also need a car to get to the grocery store and restaurants, but everything needed is available between the unit and the cruise ship traffic. Free parking was available, but tricky at times being so close to the main road and made more difficult if you have a bigger vehicle like a truck. I'm taking away one star for several reasons: 1. Bonaire is hot and dry. The loan floor fan overheated on us in the middle of our stay. You will need to leave windows open for any breeze, which lets the dry dust from the road settle everywhere. We had to wash our feet frequently. 2. The unit does NOT have a clothes dryer. There are ample hooks and racks for drying clothes, but wet clothes catch the dry dust. 3. All beds are twin beds pushed together. There is not a true king bed as per the description. 4. Small ants in the kitchen coming from back splash. Traps helped, but we had to keep all food in the very small refrigerator.
