Little Bear Cabin (un alquiler nocturno con licencia legal con un permiso de salud actual del condado de Okanogan según lo exige la ley) es de 3 dormitorios, se encuentra a pocos pasos de la pista de hielo Winthrop y del sendero Town. Un paseo de 20 minutos por el río a través del puente peatonal lo llevará al centro de Winthrop. También puede caminar hasta la tienda de comestibles o East 20 Pizza, o simplemente quedarse, cocinar una excelente comida y relajarse junto a la chimenea.

Los muebles y decoraciones incluyen el trabajo de varios artesanos locales. La casa es lo suficientemente acogedora para una pareja, pero bien diseñada y amueblada para que 6 personas no se sientan abarrotadas. We had a fantastic time. The cabin was just as described. There were five adults and a dog, but never really felt cramped. It was only a short walk to town and easy to find.

It is a nice place. It is well equipped. I would recommend for a ski trip. The cabin does not have central air or a permanent air conditioning system other than one of the upstairs rooms. Every other room has swamp cooler units that have to be managed daily. It is a lot of maintenance if you are staying in the summer months and need some reprieve from the heat. We weren’t there during the day but it took a a little bit to cool the cabin down before bed. In my opinion the listing should disclose the type of air conditioning. We had a routine maintenance issue and the owner took care of it within an hour. Great experience with our stay.

Perfectly located little cabin within walking distance of town and other key locations. Perfect size for one larger family or two smaller groups, we had four people total and still had plenty of room. This location was perfectly located for all the activities that we had planned. You can see some pretty big salmon swimming in the Methow river crossing at the spring creek bridge and deer eating on the trees early morning when it’s still cool. Very beautiful location!!

nice little place

Clean and comfortable. There is no dishwasher, not a big deal but only thing to maybe be aware of. Would stay again for sure.

Cozy cabin in a wonderful location!

We enjoyed our stay at Little Bear Cabin very much. It was so convenient to walk to the ice rink where my granddaughter was in a hockey tournament. The full kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. We had some issues with cleanliness upon arrival, but the manager handled our concerns promptly and in a professional manner. I would recommend this place to others.

So Much Fun

Settled in after 4 weeks on the water in the San Juan’s and enjoyed the cool dry air, glorious mountain scenery and the Aspen trees! Cabin was comfortable and perfect and our dog was also very happy!

Cute cabin with some flaws

The cabin was very cute and the location was awesome! It is right off the walking path to downtown Winthrop. We did experience a few issues though…first it is very hot in the house. The “swamp” coolers are not air conditioning and are really a pain. You have to constantly fill them up with a LOT of water and it takes like 10 or so trips to the sink to get enough water in them. It does cool down at night but two of the three nights we all slept downstairs because upstairs was unbearable. Second…the wasps. There were four wasp nests on the side of the house. The owner Eric was very quick to come spray and get rid of the nests which was great. But he needed to come twice and even after that there is still a hive in the siding of the house with lots of bees. So we didn’t want our kids running around outside. Third, the upstairs fire alarm would not stop chirping the last night. We replaced the battery but it continued. Last, there’s no dishwasher

What great space! The home is beautiful and in an outstanding location! Close to everything in town yet away from the hubbub! It had everything I needed for my 3 day stay and I couldn't have been happier! I've already booked my return trip for next year!

Great, clean, cute…but…HOT with NO air conditioning

The property is nice, clean, close to town, but zero air conditioning, not even a portable that has a hose to toss out a window. We were there in 85 degree temps and it was hot, I can’t imagine how sweltering it would be if it were 100+. Love that it’s dog friendly, although this time I opted to not bring my dog. Neighborhood is cute, with several small homes/cabins. Even with no air, I give this cute place five stars. But hope they take note and head to Wally World and grab a couple $300 portable AC units.

Great location and awesome kitchen

We had a great time and I’d stay here again. Things to keep in mind though - two toilets but only one shower. Shower is pretty small and needs to be updated. Upstairs bedrooms are also pretty cramped. It was fine for two guests but 4+ would be very tight. Also, not an issue for us but no TV. Amazing location in town, right next to a walking trail. Close to coffee shop and restaurants. Kitchen was fully stocked which was awesome. Had everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast.

Annual Trip to Hot Air Balloons

Great trip, perfect location. Was cool to be able to see when the balloons were getting inflated so we could drive right over for the event. Close to town. Was perfect for the weekend. Looking at other properties through this company for next year since we will have a larger group.

Little bear!

Nice property close to everything. Quiet and peaceful fully stocked with more than you would ever need in the kitchen! 15 minute walk into town. Liked sitting on front porch with morning coffee, but the sun hits you so hard you can’t stay out for only a few minutes, it needs some sort of sun shade, that would be the only concern we had. Very enjoyable we would definitely go back!

Great cabin, but needs a few things fixed

Overall, loved the cabin and location. It does need a few maintenance things taken care of, like the shower drain needs cleared, footstool foot needs repaired, microwave grill needs repaired and lawn was growing wild! All little items, and they would not keep me from renting again.
